You have to really find a good moment to sell at high peek. Its not that hard to miss the oportunity. One of the best investment for me is also real estate in good country and city. With rent you can get 5-10% of its value over year. It's more demanding job then just holding gold or bitcoin, but it got many benefits.

investment property must use big capital money, so can't compare online trading, bitcoin trading or gold trading
and return 5-10%/year is very low
and i think youre rent property can't get return 10%/year, is under 10%

Tell me what passive investment can get you much more then 10% per year and I'll put my money into it. Not all real estate can get you 10%, but a nice apartment in tourist area with daily rent is close to that number, if not even bigger. I come from "tourist" country so I know many people who live from it.

I dont see a reason for buy any kind of gold invest for sure profit because gold will become past and it is not interesting like before anymore.Economical exeperts are talking many things which are wrong about market prices but many know that their prediction is incorrect I think that many economical experts works for big rich families and they make them more and more rich and poor pupils more and more poor. This world is cruel so we need to think twice before we make a right decision because we can become a really big loosers if we got catched in trap which is putted by other pupils which dont care about other pupils only for money and own head.

Gold has been an stagnating asset for ages now, and it has been confiscated in the past by passing a simple law. It's just a shitty investment compared to bitcoin.

I can't believe people Peter Schiff go on their podcasts and still tell people to buy gold and ignore bitcoin after what we have seen. The ones that didn't listen to Peter's rambling should be up 100% by now.
Yeah me neither. It is hard to believe that he try to deny the truth that bitcoin is not stronger than gold. People have to evolve and adapt to new things happening on this planet. Maybe hundred years ago, gold was popular and very precious, but now, we are live in a digital era and Bitcoin is definitely a potential investment

Gold is still popular and precious. More then bitcoin, thats for sure. Bitcoin is on good track, but it will takes many more months/years until its fully adapted in our society. Maybe that day will never come, you never know. Bitcoin got potential, and thats why me and I know many other see its value. And of course possible good investment.

It wont be easy to find participants. It's hard to write good article about such specific object. From people who actually know about bitcoin, how much of them are good writers? And how much of that good writers already dont have blog or something like that? Try to reach those people who already got blog but dont have many visitors. That way they can promote themself, and you also get benefit from it.

We think about contacting with other bloggers, but we first need to find a good writer who can write at least 10 valuable articles, we already have decided what to write, now we searching for someone who will write, we don't care about price, but we need that our articles would be presented very interesting, we better would pay more than allow cheap writers to copy paste and modify articles from other pages.

I checked your website, I hope you'll find good writers and succeed with your plan. Promote it whenever you can, maybe for start you'll be at minus, but it will be worth it. Make add on some freelance website, there are few on the web that are specific for bitcoin.

It seems to me that gold will go up soon. This is due to problems in India and China. But in spite of that I now buy Bitcoin, but not gold. I'm not ready to invest in the long term

I read about it for years now... Still didnt make decent profit out of it, but I hope it would go up soon, and it would go up big. I always thought of it like long term investment, so I dont worry myself too much, but I would seize opportunity if I had it.

Gold will always have value, that his most important and strongest asset. In most of the world fiat is still connected to it. Is it good investment? Sure, if you buy low and sell high, like any other investment. Usually when media start talking about how gold/dollar/real estate/bitcoin is good, its already too late to hop on that train and make good profit.

The problem with traders is that they are buying stocks online without even holding the actual gold. The best way to invest in gold is not to buy digital numbers but to buy actual gold. My family is in small scale mining and we mine silver and gold ores. Even without a stock market gold will still exist and will have a value. Gold is a good investment, if you have a large quantity of 24k gold the best way to earn is to make a jewelry shop. The moment gold is transform into a jewelry its price will double.

So I suppose you're from USA or Canada. Nice, I saw some series about miners, always thought its a hard earning and interesting job. And yes, I talk about buying actual gold. I dont believe in paper saying I own it somewhere, I would rather hold it in my hand. Is there a chance that you save some amount of what you mine and wait for better times to sell?

129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: January 27, 2017, 08:02:32 PM
I thought about it and didnt get a clear answer.
I think it's "every" mans right to own a gun. With "" I mean you should have some control over it, strictly monitor people owning it, so no criminal or mentally ill person can get it easily. You should be able to defend yourself, either from other people, animals if you live in wilderness, or even government if it comes to that. On the other hand guns make killing too easy, its easier to shoot someone from distance then lets say stab him. Its proven that with gun you dont have that same feeling, for knife you need more balls, anger or craziness.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: What Would Happen If Bitcoin Were Declared Illegal in the USA? on: January 27, 2017, 12:22:49 PM
It would significantly decrease price, thats for sure. How much time would it pass to recover? Maybe it would never recover. Those news would echo around world in few days, psychological damage would be enormous. Yes its only one country, only one market, but look what happened to news from China, it reflects on all crypto world.

I'm curious about UFO's and aliens so I often check whats new. Still havent seen decent video or anything. I know we're not alone in space, but I doubt I'll ever see any hard evidence of existance. Ghosts are same, I havent had encounter with them either, it doesnt mean I dont believe in something spiritual, but cant verify anything.
133  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why war is good on: January 26, 2017, 07:57:18 PM
War is good. War is a great equalizer. It is Darwinian tool to eradicate those seems not fit to survive. Most technologies we have today were products of war. Humans minds were force to its limits just to invent something to win the war.

You ever been in war? Or was war fought somewhere near you? Or you only played COD so you think you're master in firearms and surviving?
Seems like you would trade human lives for technology, not really moral thing to do. But you'll learn someday maybe, wisdom comes with age
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [China's fakeness] Before and after on: January 26, 2017, 12:16:44 PM
The way I see it, previous volumes from China weren't exactly 'fake'.

- if you trade with yourself just to artificially pump your volume in order to get lower-tier withdrawal fees - then it's certainly fake.
- if you take advantage of zero trading fees to day-trade (or run a bot) with very low profit margin and capitalise on even tiny price movements (no longer possible with 0.2% fees) - then I don't see how it's fake. Such activities made it very hard to get a clear picture of geographical volume breakdown, but there was nothing 'fake' about that.

It's both.
As I understood they were doing just what you said, trading with themself so they would get a decrease on fees when they were to withdraw money. But in order to withdraw money (profit) you had to made some real trades, basic buy low/sell higher.
And I'm happy how things go after PBOC, plus if its true that big investors are looking at bitcoin at the moment, it will significantly increase bitcoin price, but first they need time to "stack up".
135  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors dumping gold-switching to bitcoin? on: January 26, 2017, 12:07:05 PM
old news

sell 1ounce gold for $1200
buy bitcoin at $900 (1.33btc)

wait for bitcoin to go to $1200.. sell 1.33btcc for gold.(get 1.33 ounces)

this is why bitcoin topped out at $1200 2 times in the last 4 years and then sunk back down

I prefer it like this:
buy bitcoin at $900
wait for it to go to $1200
Sell
Wait for it to go down
Buy more bitcoin!

Gold and silver are a trap because they become hard to sell when you've held for years. My parents used to have silverware and coins stacked up somewhere in the house for over 40 years and never sold it. I'm sure they will die before they sell that stuff. Who needs a new car or a house when precious metals are so pretty and shiny.  Roll Eyes

Your parents probably looked at it like savings, not investment, thats why they are hard to sell it. I would rather have it as physical gold stashed somewhere safe (as safe as it gets) then in stocks or bonds. And wouldnt mind selling it when opportunity comes. And I wouldnt put all my money on one thing, gold or bitcoin, whatever.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 26, 2017, 10:54:55 AM
Joseph Stiglitz, nobel prize winning economist who appreciated the US government for shutting down the bitcoin for the reason of easy corruption, tax evasion and tax avoidance have shown positive signs in a recent Economic conference. He has suggested that countries like USA need to move from fiat towards digital currency. He too stated that, though it has got some drawbacks in the long run it moves in the right direction.

Yeah but they wont use Bitcoin as digital currency. They will make their own coin (if it ever comes to that), so they can control it. Only reason why they even think of digital currency is because its easier to control and overlook it then fiat. Some countries already moving in that direction, why you think India abolished big bank notes?
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to convert money into BTC? on: January 26, 2017, 10:43:39 AM
Localbitcoins, and bitcoin ATM's are easiest. On Bitstamp you can again buy bitcoins with credit card, but if I remember right fee is rather big, I think bank took me $40 for $250 purchase. It's not Bitstamp's fee, its my bank fee. Also I bought with local exchange from my country, payed with bank wire, and took me around $20 for $250 purchase.
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why war is good on: January 26, 2017, 10:38:48 AM
War is only good for the Weapon Manufacturers, they make all the money selling weapons to both side. I honestly think weapon manufacturing is equivalent to blood money.

Yes, enormous money is involved in Weapon manufacturers, and where is big money involved, there is people who dont think about casualties, only profit. If someone here say war is good, maybe they never felt it on their own skin or their loved ones.

Well it's interesting, but probably there is more rational explanation. As I see in article they claim its that old simply because of dept it was found in. Looks to me like a piece of excavator equipment, nothing more, only thing is I suppose those excavator "teeth" are made from steel, not aluminum.
