122  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-02]Bitcoin Price Climbs Above $7,000 for the First Time Ever on: November 02, 2017, 08:12:10 AM
There is still plenty of crypto time left in 2017.
The next two months are going to be insane!
123  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-31]Survey: Younger Americans More Interested in Cryptocurrencies, ICOs on: November 01, 2017, 09:45:17 AM
Also 15% planning on investing in ICO's.
That's very high
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explanation of how bitcoin works for the regular people on: November 01, 2017, 09:41:50 AM
Education is one of the biggest barriers to large scale adoption.
For example the fact that you can start by buying mBTC or even sats.
Many people are turned off by the high price for 1BTC
125  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Crypto Gambling Foundation will be calling out fake "Provably fair" sites on: November 01, 2017, 09:34:00 AM
Starting next week the crypto gambling foundation (www.cryptogambling.org) will be publicly disclosing sites which don't use proper provably fair methods.

You guys are doing a great initiative here.
Well done!
As someone in gambling since 1999 and crypto gambling since 2013 I totally get the need for this.
I'd like to suggest than an education aspect here is key too.
In my experience the reason provably fair has not gotten the traction it could is because players do not understand it.
It woould be good for all the brands if more people understood the benefit.
126  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Crypto Gambling Foundation will be calling out fake "Provably fair" sites on: November 01, 2017, 09:13:22 AM

I would be trying to categorize sites (from best to worst):

* Trustless
* Provably fair  (follows best practices)
* Provably fair (warning: suboptimal, not practical for human verification)
* Not Provably Fair   (game design makes provably fair impractical)
* Not Provably Fair   (for no good reason)
* Fake Provably Fair  (claims to be provably fair, but isn't)

This is a great categorization RHavar.
It helps a lot to distinguish the nuance!
127  Economy / Auctions / Re: Rollin.io (BTC casino) is now for sale! on: November 01, 2017, 09:01:51 AM
Good luck with the other projects guys.
Rollin was a great operation and pleasure to work with you over the years
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Got hacked and robbed. My mistake for keeping coins on exchange on: November 01, 2017, 08:25:12 AM
Sorry to hear about this, no matter how it happened, it hurts.
As said even with RAT your 2FA should have stopped the login.
Trading requires some coins to be on an exchange but you should only keep what you're actively trading.
If someone is concerned about the technical of using ubuntu etc then just get a trezor.
It's a great level of security that's easy to use
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 01, 2017, 08:19:44 AM
Hardware wallets that are stored in a secure location are good.
Seed can even be split amongst the beneficiary and the will (low tech multi sig).
Location can be known only to beneficiary.
I also like physical bitcoins.
There is the risk but they are the easiest to pass on.
A lot of people still really like paper wallets.
130  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-30] Bitcoin reaches new all-time high on: November 01, 2017, 08:12:12 AM
The announcement that CME will trade futures helped push the recent price move.
With 2 months left in the year i think there is still a lot of room for new ATH's.
131  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-30] Titan’s Debates: Pros and Cons of Bitcoin on: November 01, 2017, 08:09:41 AM
A lot of that may be true but the bottom line is that the more people in the mainstream talk about bitcoin, the better for all of us.
132  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-31]Students Take Cryptocurrency Courses on: November 01, 2017, 08:01:27 AM
This is great.
Right now there is a sever lack of qualified blockchain developers.
This is one of the limiting factors in growth in the short term.
133  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-31] The Race To Ban Or Regulate Bitcoin And ICOs on: October 31, 2017, 06:47:16 PM
ICOs can be a great tool for development but they need to evolve into real utility and value.
Instead of governments looking how to regulate bitcoin They should look at how to incentivize it's development.
The countries that understand this and take action now will have huge advantages in the coming years.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any tricks available in gambling to won the bet? on: October 31, 2017, 04:04:58 PM
Knowing the odds and probabilities helps a lot.
With games other than slots obviously.
What games do you think give the best odds?
135  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-30] Titan’s Debates: Pros and Cons of Bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 01:00:37 PM
One person that has been associated with Bitcoin recently that is not in the article is John McAfee.
Considering his history, high price prediction and crazy bet I think he should included too Smiley
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Necronomicon thread: Altcoins which are dead. on: October 31, 2017, 12:57:43 PM

137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM increasing at rapid rate.... update on: October 31, 2017, 12:49:49 PM
Wow, it seems like some places are really increasing the amount of ATM's.
Do you guys know if fees are set by manufacturer or person that owns the ATM?
Is there a slit anywhere of all the ATM's?
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: October 31, 2017, 12:37:34 PM
As bitcoin grows in mainstream and in price, security becomes even more important.
I think for today hardware wallets like Trezor or Ledger are best but i think the main thing to remember is to control your own private keys.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese will be allowed to trade Bitcoin again soon on: October 31, 2017, 12:29:10 PM
China trading bitcoin is great and helps.
But
1- I think best to focus elsewhere and if and when it happens then great. As mentioned it's impossible to know what's going to happen there and what's FUD.
2- as bitcoin matures and is less dependant on China for volume and as they keep flipping one way or another I think the market gets desensitized to Chinese impact
140  Economy / Goods / Re: SELL BEAUTYFUL LANDS (5) IN GREECE SEAFROND HOME AND INDUSTRIAL on: October 30, 2017, 03:53:49 PM
