Download the zadig drivers

http://sourceforge.net/projects/libwdi/files/zadig/

Specifically this one:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/libwdi/files/zadig/zadig_v2.0.1.160.7z/download

Choose Options-->List All Devices from the main menu and choose one of the usb miners and click the install driver button.

reboot

run cgminer or bfgminer and you should be good to go.

126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does Anyone Else Believe In Jesus Christ ? on: October 28, 2013, 06:44:02 PM
YES, I do beleive in God, it's a personal belief as I'm not participating in any ritual, or wear any sign.  It's between me and God, in my spirit.

Beleving in God and being "science orriented" are not exclusive.  Because science cannot mesure, explain or theorize on the existence of God, that does'nt mean God dont exist.

In my house I use reason rather than religion.  Reason/Science is the true and the way to go.  I still beleive in God.  Both are possible, and I say, science is, God also is.  They are'nt exclusive to each other.

I advocate The Zeitgeist Movement, wich is'nt against any religious belief, it simply promote that religions are'nt not a good way to drive a society, but science is.  The Zeitgeist Movement's train of tought include that if you have religious belief, no problem with it, you can, you are free to, but Science is the very best known way to organize and provide for the need of each human on earth.

So in essence you structure your belief system on something that you yourself readily admit cannot be measured?

Reply here if you believe in Jesus Christ.

Hi, I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord,

and that Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day

I also believe that if you say that with your mouth,
and believe it in your heart,

Then you will be saved.

Read my Sig, and you see that I am a website designer, but I am also thinking
about getting some backlinks to some Jesus Christ believing websites.
Maybe we can exchange links if you have a Jesus Christ website?
And if it is also a bitcoin site somehow, then all the better. Smiley

So why are you so lucky to be a chosen one? Why were your great great great anscestors unlucky to have been born before your savior?

If god/jesus/spirit is all knowing then why did he wait until 2000 years ago to reveal himself?

Is jesus' great grandfather not special enough to be one of the chosen ones or is being chosen retroactive?

I was born jewish, why did jesus decide before i was born to not include me as a chosen one?

Do you literally believe the bible is the written word of god? And that it should be treated as infallible rules to live by?

And I mean that these nodes seem to be there to not do any DoS attacks, but rather to collect information, so changing the subVer won't change a bit in the matter.

And BTW these spying nodes have been there for at least a month and I even have this issue addressed deep on my todo list.

Whats a spying node?

Are you suggesting that bitcoin nodes exist solely to watch the blockchain? To watch transactions as they occur?
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Voting on: October 28, 2013, 12:42:17 AM
Bitcoin to me is just a more advanced money system. For me it's not a vote against anything, it's a vote for a better world wide money system.

Then you don't understand what a better world wide money system means to the masses, please do some homework.

We need people like you at the beginning stages like we are now that are well informed.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin bigger than we think? on: October 27, 2013, 03:41:32 PM
I think that Bitcoin is as big as I think it is - a $2B economy with >10K businesses and hundreds of thousands of users.

Based on data from http://www.similarweb.com/website/bitcointalk.org, it looks like the forum gets about 1M pageviews per day.

Google:
how do I buy

look at what comes up
You do know that Google search results and autocomplete are targeted? If you look at Bitcoin all day, it will give you Bitcoin-related results... It has little to do with Bitcoin's popularity.

AFAIK targeting is done only for language, location... and previous searches only if you allow Google to keep your search history.

It may not matter if it is or isn't targeted, if a user who does not search all day long for bitcoin such as us sees or hears about this, then they may out of curiosity do a search for this. If it doesn't show for them they may then autocomplete their own sentence with the word bitcoin, causing a semi self fulfilling prophecy, either way it's good for bitcoin.

This is how awesome CoinBase is,

For those of you on the fence for using coinbase, this is how a real startup treats their customers... I am looking at you BFL and TerraHash!

FYI,
Here is what happened:

Quote
When you start typing in the send to textbox in the send bitcoin page on coinbase they use an auto-complete javascript script to show similar addresses, where those come from I don't know.

The first 3 characters where close enough to mine that I simply clicked it without confirming that it was my main address and then proceeded to click on the send bitcoin button, bitcoins gone, poof! $184+ down the drain.

The address in question is: 1NSXoRoP8g2uGzUB8YjUKC9uC5ZWP5TH4i

if i can get 1000 shares i will name the cat Bitcoin.
I don't think a currency name is a good name for the cat, maybe name it Satoshi instead?

(an highly important debate point! Smiley consider it as freebump)
