121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: April 17, 2019, 03:46:06 PM
Where can I download a wallet, give the link please?
https://get-scatter.com
This wallet can interact with Ledger Nano S?
No, scatter is just for EOS wallet and it can be used for vote block producers, maybe in the future the developer team of scatter will apply for hardware wallet.
Thanks. I need an EOS wallet that interacts with Ledger Nano S.
Is there such a wallet?
Well actually i don't have any experience with interacting EOS wallet and ledger nano S, but i have found interesting article related with it, you can read and learning more carefully on here https://medium.com/eos-new-york/setting-up-your-ledger-hardware-wallet-on-eos-b66b2bee5257 hopefully it will help you, but becarefull when do it, i don't responsible if there is something bad when use it. 122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best decentralized social network based on Blockchain tech? on: April 17, 2019, 03:12:59 AM
Which social network platform based on Blockchain technology do you think is the best? Will it be Steem or the Akasha platform?

With growing concerns about Facebook's privacy measures, it seems that people are looking for other alternatives which are capable of protecting their personal data better. So far, Steem is the pioneer in the decentralized social media space, and it has attracted thousands of people worldwide. However, it's still far from behind as centralized social networks like Facebook and Twitter are in the lead.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Any recommendations or suggestions related to said decentralized social networks will be highly appreciated. Also, I would appreciate if you could let me know of other new alternative social networks (apart from Steem and Akasha) that make use of Blockchain technology. Smiley
I think karma is good decentralize social network, karma be built on EOS blockchain technology, the karma system is like steemit and the interface is like facebook and other social media, but we can do stakes karma token to getting other karma token it is like mining cryptocurrencies, i think it is interesting for all of community which want know other decentralize social network based on the blockchain technology and here is the website of karma social network https://www.karmaapp.io
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: April 17, 2019, 02:56:27 AM
I would like to know why people are trusting their luck more in sports gambling compared to other type of games.
Personally, I put bigger bet on sports because I believe I have a little skills that would give me a better chance of winning, but I'm not really serious with sports gambling.
I think the people who are trust in their lucky because they won't make analysis on sports gambling games, as you know that sports gambling games needs analysis skills team players, it will takes time and bad way to take entertainment in gambling games, you know mostly people does not takes serious about gambling games, so they choose games based on the lucky than analysis of skills team.
They put more money in sportsbettting because they don't believe luck doesn't play a big part in bets like these. Sports fans don't need much time to analyze which team or player has the upperhand since they've been supporters ever since and it's more exciting to support and bet on your own team.
Yes sports fans gambler don't need much time to analyze but not all of the gamblers they are sports fans gamblers, that's why gambling games based on the lucky still be played by other gamblers, it is more simple, easy to be played by the community of gamblers based on the lucky games and it is just about the fashion which are the type of gambling games will be played.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: April 16, 2019, 01:58:19 AM
At some point I agree with you but come to think of it. In real world, some businessman don't have enough funds to do business but the idea of having a business never stops because some wanted to do business too. They have funds but don't have the idea. That is why ICO was created for those people who have the idea but don't have enough funding. I hope this concept will be use properly and effectively.
I agree with you, just because of there are many ICOs projects failed does not mean all of ICOs are bad however it is about the management of the ICOs projects which will make successfull of the ICOs projects and the ICOs is addoption on cryptocurrencies space the old way is IPO on the stocks market, so hopefully the people does not blame the ICOs its self it will make better to cryptocurrencies space.

126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: April 15, 2019, 09:25:32 AM
I believe that they are many people that are making money through gambling and we are not all losing in it.  I have had from someone here that he makes about 50bitcoin from gambling in 2018 and I also have seeing many people complaining on how much they have lose in gambling.

That will be too many people complaining about their loss than the people who can win Grin

I have many friends who can win in doge because I think he is a specialist in the dice dogecoin gambling site in FJ. He already wins so many dogecoin amounts from that place, but he doesn't tell us how he can win. Besides of that friends, I have the other friends who cannot win a single dogecoin or bitcoin in that site. Maybe he is not as lucky as my other friends. Gamblin is a way to profit and at the same time, the way to a loss.
Yes.It's just between the two, making profits or losing your money. But for me,gambling has higher chances of losing than winning in the first place so it would be very profitable if you only do it for pure fun and enjoyment. There may be some people who are too lucky enough to make such big wins but still majority of gamblers still end up losing at the end of the day.

Yes, so far I use gambling for pure fun and enjoy the game, nothing more. I know the consequences of losing, but I accept that because when I gamble, I never use too big money, so I don't need to be very sad if I lose that coin. Besides that, I don't gamble in every day and only gamble when I really want to play the games. Gambling will be a way to lose money when we cannot think that we don't have a big chance to win.

But most of the people will choose gamble for making money but i never think it will not be a money making method because there are very fewer chances to make money through gambling, most of us should consider gambling as for fun it will help you to control the emotions.
I agree with you that we should consider gambling games as for fun and entertainment, but does not mean we can not make strategy when playing gambling games. We still have chance to making money on gambling games which has fair games and share their deviden for all of the people are like https://888tron.com or https://eosbet.io they give deviden for holding their token.

128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: April 15, 2019, 07:33:59 AM

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: April 13, 2019, 09:19:08 AM
Yes, new coins are not all good and only a few of these new coins can enter the Exchange. All new coins depend on the development team. Upon entering the store, the price immediately dropped. But if they have a solid team I think the coin will go up again.
It is mean no all of new cryptocurrencies are worthless everything depends on the developer of team, the product of cryptocurrencies i don't think about the price of new cryptocurrencies as main data for all of aspects the new coins more than it, the people must know more about the fundamental of new cryptocurrencies before making investment in them and no blame all of cryptocurrencies space, that's not good.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: April 11, 2019, 07:50:08 AM
Digital Assets — we need to think about “Ownership Authority”.

The CryptoLions team published a post on Medium in which they clarifies the definition of Digital Asset. CryptoLions is a EOS Block Producer candidate currently involved in the development of Simple Assets. According to the article, there are 4 different levels of a Digital Asset:

  - Level 1: digital information that the user control inside a game or an application
  - Level 2: ... the ownership can be verified on a blockchain
  - Level 3: ... the controls adhere to a broadly accepted protocol
  - Level 4: ... the ownership is outside the control of the asset creator

"Simple Assets started with the idea that a digital asset is a promise from the asset creator to not only the first owner of that asset, but to the entire community of possible owners."

132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: April 10, 2019, 05:33:29 AM
Usually the numbers of bounties reward is small amount it is around 1% up to 5% max of total token supply, it is not enough for bounties hunters to dumping their coins on the market. I don't think it will gives bad affect to the price of token, so there are no reason for locking bounties reward after the ICOs end.
all of it could have been. Indeed the numbers are just a little on hold by the bounty hunter, but when a small amount is sold all together will surely cause a decline in the market. Moreover, if the market has not yet formed a strong buy. This is common on the new token is listed on the Exchange.
I am not sure if all of bounties hunters they sell all of token on the same time, except they are one account  Grin and i am doubt about that. So i don't want blame the bounties hunters because of the price goes down and i don't have data about my claim, however they are part of cryptocurrencies community and i am sure they have knew the risk of bounties hunters.

136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: April 07, 2019, 07:34:31 AM
This is what makes many people think investment in crypto is very dangerous. Because of the many ICOs or scam projects that make people think if they want to invest here. As many people say, it is necessary to analyze and know more about the project you want to invest. That is what everyone has to want.
The risk of investment in the ICOs projects come from when we don't know anything about the ICOs projects, should we know how to choose good projects of ICOs before we invest our money into them. Including our money management when we will invest in the ICOs projects, so we don't blame the ICOs projects because our fools in cryptocurrencies especially in the ICOs projects.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: April 06, 2019, 07:38:10 AM
Some assume immutability is an absolute value in ETC which is not true nor a universal truth. Absolute immutability requires absolute centralization to regiment anything otherwise.

Immutability — Ethereum Classic by stevanlohja of ETCLabs

https://medium.com/@stevan.blog/immutability-ethereum-classic-d59dd7724d95

Following this reasoning, then any project that requires absolute immutability, its characteristics of decentralization are no longer used?
Just be relax it is just opinions of the people, the best answer of your question depends on the community of ends users. We don't have valid answer about it so let's wait and see what will happen but in my personal opinions i am sure ethereum classic will gives something different than other alternatives coins.

I understood, so it was just an opnion or doubt of mine. So let's look forward to the future of ethereum classic.
Yes although the risk of ethereum classic ETC always be available, but if we see the development of ethereum classic blockchain, we will know that ETC is still alive until now and the community of ethereum classic (the developer, miner and investors) they still support for ethereum classic to be more better in the future. So always be fositive think about the ethereum classic and follow every single updating related with ethereum classic on here.

139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the God of crypto........ on: April 05, 2019, 02:18:31 AM
Bitcoin is the god of all the crypto.
At the end whatever is coin you have finally it will convert into the bitcoin.
Without it nothing is possible.
what you think about it ?
Usually the people trade bitcoin fair alternatives coins because mostly the movement of cryptocurrencies price depends on the price of bitcoin, if price of bitcoin goes up the altcoins price will down, if the price of bitcoin goes down the price of altcoins will down and if the price of bitcoin be stable the price of altcoins will goes up. I think the bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies especially in the price.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: April 04, 2019, 12:01:28 PM

Block. One announced the EOSIO Labs initiative, through which Block. One's innovations and discoveries will be shared with all developers. In this way, the community will be free to get their hands on these open source repositories and release their own products. Block.one’s continued contributions and involvement will depend on wider community adoption of such projects.

The Universal Authenticator Library (UAL) is the "first in a series of repos" shared on EOSIO Labs™. The purpose of UAL is to simplify, for App Developers, supporting multiple authentication providers. This is possible by abstracting the internal business logic of many authentication providers and exposing a single universal API.

Benefits:
• For developers:
   - Simple way to support multiple key managers
   - Increases an application’s market reach
   - Reduces time to create applications,
   - Access to all the necessary functions to sign transactions
• For users:
   - Login to integrating apps using the authenticator of choice
   - Uniform login option that instills confidence while using dApps
