121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New Crypto Currency FRANKO [w/ OPENSOURCE FRK ATM!][NEW WEBSITE Design] on: June 13, 2017, 01:57:16 AM
14 Connections Cheesy This is pre node setting up.

and pretty impressive.

True, but still 0 working exchanges. Yobit keeps the wallet in maintenance since months.

Something ive been thinking about for a few years, and would be fun to make, is an open air exchange on reddit.

how would that work Chris?

also blocknet, bitbay plus other decentralised exchanges which we're waiting for and just around corner are all our answers to being able to trade coins with no fees and at our own prices as centralised exchanges are the elephant in the room for crypto, can't wait until they start dying. no kyc, no hacking, no exchanges running off into night, no nonsense fee to list coins etc, no coins getting delisted

yobit is a hideous exchange one of the worst

I like cryptopia as we need one decent one in short term but paying in dot lol and being a few btc to list is out of the question imo, they can take a walk

how about a decentralised exchange like bitsquare for just franko and exp?
it's opensource at github, pretty certain you have the skills.
the tech is there and free and opensource

so basically in your armoury you have the perfect team of coins you have created as equivalents

Franko is bitcoin
Exp is eth

Glad to see the Franko network being kept strong and maintained

Now the next steps for their futures
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MΣC] Megacoin.co.nz - Forum, Github, Website Now in 18 Languages on: June 12, 2017, 10:27:24 AM
Hi Guys,
hope everyone is well? many friends in this thread

I still own some mec, not much, actually convinced my gf to buy some couple years back, I made mistake of selling stash for start, go figure lol

here's why I'm bullish, old coin, now in 5th year!
kimoto, one of altcoin's legends, checked in to thread other week, check his profile
alive and well I am glad to see. coin is running fine, wallet syncing fine and still sexy
coin on number of exchanges incl. btc38

megacoin site running smooth and attractive as ever
http://www.megacoin.co.nz/

sites don't just renew domains and hosting themselves, kimoto is doing this.
satoshi bailed and look at btc price, kimoto is still here doing what he needs to

price has been 4000% higher in $usd
so prob 3 times that in btc!

check the richlist, someone owns 18 million mec, ,it has a low supply of coins compared to some alts
it is the btc38 cold wallet, a lot of rich Chinese traders been hoarding the supply
possibly nipping over to other exchanges to snap up megacoin, there's not much around!
https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-megacoin-addresses.html

who knows, but at some point,  this gorgeous coin will have the living shit pumped out of it  Grin

plus more coins than i can list are using the kimoto gravity well invented my megacoin's kimoto which saved many coins from getting screwed by over aggressive mining and dumping and difficulty issues

THIS WILL PUMP .... to the moon

oh and Kimoto, sir, please say hi in thread, it would mean so much. I miss you

okay have opened discussions at fastcointalk.org
bigbear kindly got back straight away
http://www.fastcointalk.org/index.php/topic,1102.msg6582.html#new

so to other fastcoin members here, don't sit on your hands, come over to the forum and brainstorm , help out
don't ask what fastcoin can do for you... ask what you can do for fastcoin!

it's how btc got rolling, without a community a coin is nothing
let's all work together as a team , not enough for people sitting around and do nothing and expect crypto value to go up just cos you bought it lol
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: June 11, 2017, 09:20:32 AM
Hi,
just seen the new Fastcoin video launched.
Is great, really good.
However imo the music chosen is terrible, not many people would be able to stand without ending vid early.

just a suggestion, you can get voice artists on fiverr.com for like 10 bucks or most just 20 to do great voiceovers with really lovely voices.
you can choose anyone, really nice bubbly female voice, posh english anything
would suggest woman

just imo

but the music is bad, just my opinion, what does everyone else think

but the vid itself is good

Hello,

AVG seems to detect a threat in the wallet. Is this known?

Greetings,

I find virus protection goes nuts for most crypto wallets, something about how they connect to the internet... I can also attest ive had a fastcoin wallet on my computer for years. If it had a virus, sure id have gotten screwed by it by now.

ditto

@fast

some engagement on facebook would be good
know you're very active on twitter which is where cryptonuts live as opposed to fb,
but good for merchants and general public looking for affordable reliable fast CHEAP crypto
been along time since you posted there
https://www.facebook.com/FastCoin.ca/

also don't keep us waiting on what you're testing, it's a tease!
can we have a clue?
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is the fastest? on: June 10, 2017, 06:12:10 PM

127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QRL - Announcing the Quantum Resistant Ledger on: June 10, 2017, 02:00:29 AM
65 million in total. 13million is held by the foundation and development team, so only 52 million were offered in the sale
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QRL - Announcing the Quantum Resistant Ledger on: June 10, 2017, 01:58:57 AM
its hard to say

there will be of course mainly crypto day traders who stalked and went in ico
i have not took part in one ico, this one interested me and missed by couple weeks

some will of course take their 1000%  + now
some dev held back tokens must be sold too as very speculative and they money to develop

liquidity is poor 25 btc BUT very few for sale 65k on books

if theres millions tomorrow morning on sale and few btc to buy some panic selling
hard to say
im only putting in 0.5 btc as think very important project

plus when on more exhcngaes price will go all over place up and down over coming weeks. is hard to say
I think $1 is ok to pay which i paid
someone made 1200% markup on me lol
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QRL - Announcing the Quantum Resistant Ledger on: June 10, 2017, 01:42:14 AM
What the hell is going on Bittrex? This coin should be renamed to Circus Coin.

lol its true

always same bollox when new coin on bittrex
i think why many missed out on eth like me

5$ to 2 to 20 in a day, walked way and the rest history
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QRL - Announcing the Quantum Resistant Ledger on: June 10, 2017, 01:37:30 AM
I had been reading up and thinking about quantum resistant cryptography for past 6 months, found the qrl, not on forum , outside, then on twitter, followed, then realsied had missed ico by 2 weeks!
think they only wanted to raise couple mill and raised 4 mill, not sure

gutted to have missed on 8 cents, been waiting all week to see when on exchange, not buying any yet though
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: June 09, 2017, 04:45:07 PM

We are also excited about additional new developments however we are not ready to officially release them at this time until further testing is completed.

/Fast

excited by a coin in it's 5th year, where developers have run a deep forum of their own at fastcointalk.org and have mobile wallet, btc core wallet
fastest alt transactions out there, deepest blockchain
and check in daily to this thread, check user profile, here every day, have their own foundation, two busy twitter accounts, many merchants accept AND THE MARKETCAP IS ONLY $450K !!!

brand new updated slick website this week too
alt traders are asleep at the wheel missing this gem. I see 1k satoshis in next week

mining reward just 1 fastcoin now too where been around so long, is a dream to send coins in fastcoin wallet compared to btc, arrives in seconds

VERY excited about quoted text.... what further surprises do we have?
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: June 08, 2017, 11:26:33 PM

Thank you Yakelo for your post.

Changes will be made to the website, we appreciate your frankness.

With respects to development, yes we are developing however this development does not necessarily reflected directly on GitHub.

The version 10.2.2 client release we developed on GitHub is quite advanced and does offer wallet clients on a variety of operating platforms such as Windows, Apple MAC, Android and other Linux Operating Systems.

You can actively trade our coin on the following exchanges.
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz
https://www.livecoin.net

As a courtesy we would be happy to send you some sample coins if you leave your wallet address for us in your reply.

Thank you again as we look forward to your reply.

Sincerely

/Fast

I can see devs on this coin aren't clueless kids
I mean over the years been no probs, no forks, no lost coins, there is a mobile wallet, 64 bitcoin core fastcoin wallet, bootstrap download bloackchain
4 year forum maintained.
so question is, not that it's necessary, but are you guys able to commit segwit? something new on github to show progress, would be great to see

I really don't think devs should have to do everything. look at bitcoin, satoshi did a lot at start then nothing, abandoned it
you guys are still here

I see everyone here demanding things, often with 4 posts to their name

so folks, I am not a hypocrite, I am working on rebranding logo, new site etc
It's decentralised so like bitcoin people developed sites, they didn't just sit around , get working
if you can design, post some ideas for site or logo, better ones
and so on

let's get some discussions going
again you don't need to ask permission, just do stuff
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: June 08, 2017, 02:24:10 AM
Hi fast!

After 4 years of development, you should update the web and the general image. You have to put more effort into marketing too.
Because you have survived so long and have not made major updates.

Do you plan to make updates?

Can you explain your roadmap?

These are very important to gain investor confidence, because it honestly looks like an abandoned coin.

I am looking forward to your response

Regards
Hello Lion,

Thanks for your note,

If there is one thing that we have learned in the past 4 years is that timing is everything, no pun intended ;-)

What we can tell you is that we are still very excited by the prospects of our coin and are aware of our current short comings, website being one of them.

At the same time we are learning about all of the recent developments in the marketplace and looking for the right time of our choosing with a fresh and informative update and relevant roadmap.  We are pleased with the recent success of the Ethereum as well as Bitcoin's and believe FastCoin has its place in this market.

We can assure you that the coin is far from abandoned, thank you again for your inquiry and patience.

Sincerely

Fast

Hi,
i joined fastcointalk forum and posted in chat and opened a thread but no comments from any of the mods.
maybe you need to check in there daily as well as here?

as it was couple weeks ago i posted.
also on your twitter maybe post some details about fastcoin itself and plans any new stuff you're doing, rather than btc news all the time

just some constructive criticism, not criticism
been a fan of this coin off and on for years

very relevant coin now with btc beeing so damn slow, bloated, expensive and let's be honest wildly overpriced for the ordinary person
they will be terrified to mess up sending one, or half of one, plus mess up the transaction fee

fastcoin is ideal for retailers and web masters

obviously no liquidity yet for retailers, but as a hodl or tipping mechanism for forums webwide and webmasters ideal

i have some ideas...
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin transaction is fastest? on: June 08, 2017, 12:17:44 AM
fastcoin is the fastes because it has 30 second block time, you get the first confirmation after 30 seconds, ethereum has 15 second block but the confimation time is longer, but ethereum and bitcoin will have both raiden and lightining network, these two will make their transaction instant, and the fastest ever among crypto

Thank you for your post Ayers,

You are correct in that FastCoin is the fastest, however its block time is actually 12 seconds on average, not 30 ;-)

Some have argued that Ethereum actually based its target block rate from the successful implementation of FastCoin's, which incidentally has been running for over 4 years now.

This was taken directly from Etherum's Website...

"Every 12 seconds, on average, a new block is added to the blockchain with the latest transactions processed by the network and the computer that generated this block will be awarded 5 ether"

at https://ethereum.org/ether

and here are FastCoin's specs...

136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: June 06, 2017, 09:35:07 PM
cryptopia not worth it. plus like 1.5btc or more to list

people dont feel safe keeping coins on smaller exchanges, tbh you shouldnt keep much coinage on any exchnage, none of them can be trusted, the centralised exchanges

cryptopia is one of the best smaller exchanges but is for tiny coins really, there is no volume there

the next step would be polo

keep asking them on twitter, better still get one tweet from say bitbay account and get everyone in slack and on here to retweet

they are slimy though, if they are not hodling any they may not list
137  Economy / Services / Re: ***** LOGO CONTEST currency DirhamCoin (AED) ***** 0.07BTC ***** on: June 06, 2017, 07:36:12 PM

great work by everyone, I must say theres a lot of talent in the services section
cheers
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: June 05, 2017, 03:01:35 PM
An update from the lead developer of The Blocknet:

"The service node code (aka masternode) has been ported, and we are currently refactoring the blocknet wallet to support that code and also include support for bip65 and bring the blocknet wallet up to par.
Also for the UI, the blocknet dx api is also being updated and should be ready tomorrow. I know its been quiet on the dev side but a lot of work behind the scene’s has been done (and visible in github)… Based on the current status, I think the July date for the “soft fork” is still valid, maybe 3rd week of July.  The SPV work will start after mainnet launch."

thanks for update truxton
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: June 01, 2017, 07:37:45 PM
did the survey/marketing response
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdQEI4De6mZ-ncK2bre_emhXcvBBiuPjAprG7V_mQSkuV64iA/viewform

only reason don't tell friends is they don't know what I'm on about
tried for years for them to get crypto and even said would do for them and store etc, but no interest lol
they're not techy

keep going from strenth to strength and thanks for all your hard work synechrist

might be worth posting survey link to slack AND telegram groups
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: June 01, 2017, 07:02:26 PM
It won't drop much if it does at all, maybe 50 cents for people that bought dirt cheap weeks/months back
kicking myself as been in stealthcoin thread for years! never really looked into blocknet as I should have done as thought stealth was ideally placed as the currency, didn't think about coins to run network and to be our own exchange and to kill the shitty centralised scammy exchanges

got me some, nowhere near enough past week or two

no exchanges are trusted by average traders like ourselves, bittrex is ok, second best of the medium exchanges, but withdrawal limits very low, if btc keeps mooning it will be like 1 btc a day after id! for max withdrawal

I can see them being traded on the exchange itself for other coins, ltc etc, coins that work unlike btc lol
realistically i would rather be hodling block than ltc
imho block > ltc  already

prie just needs to catch up
to be honest price is not mooning at all, been around same price past week or two $3-4.50

plus bittrex charge 0.2 block for withdrawal, this is insane, dates back to when block was cheap

ppc for example is 0.02 withdrawal and a third of the price!

devs need to point out to bittrex

theres not really enough coins or volume yet to get on a major exchange, again we are direct competition so doubt they would anyway. we will get to point where no-one wants to sell, maybe a few scraps from minting/mining

my realistic estimate for next coming month say 30 days is $60-80 range each for block, it can moon on from that dependant on how much trades take place and how much trade people getting of d/ex

theres some laughable coins on hundreds of millions mark and billions just on one adoption
ripple, digibyte etc

adoption by others wont happen, like big names, but can be a big name killer, like ebay

there are no limits. eth price for a sub 4 million supply with what block has is definitely possible
