121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep my BTC now? on: March 26, 2018, 03:32:51 PM
a lot would say not to sell your bitcoins, but if you think about it properly yes they do have a point, but for deeper understanding what was your purpose on doing that? is it just to hold forever or earn? i guess you want to earn right? well basically we are buy from dips to earn, and from those who hold bitcoins from earlier stage, they would prefer to hold for it because at the current state right now, it would be more meaningless to sell immediately. the next point is that, it is all up to your decision if what you are going to do with your coins, as long as you are happy with your earnings and most important is that you earned.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: March 26, 2018, 08:19:37 AM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people donīt have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?

I kinda looked at it as a fair one regardless on their level of knowledge pertaining with bitcoins. Eventhough someone who stores or holds bitcoins(which is probably the millionaires) doesn't have an indepth knowledge of it,  theu still had the patience for them not to impulsively sell their bitcoins at earlier times.  That is why you can't say for sure that they don't deserve it because there are other factor that is needed to be considered.
Another thing is that,  it is their own money that they used when they invested in bitcoin.  We cannot blame them if they have the money for it and if they have money more than we do.  When it comes here,  it is just fair if both rich and poor invested in bitcoin,  the difference is only to how much.  Maybe they are millionaires before they began earning bitcoin or maybe they became one because of earning bitcoin.  It doesn't matter,  we don't have to be envious.  What will matter the most is how we are going to be like them or maybe more than them.

We should just work hard for ourselves and think of them as inspiration.  They work hard for what they have,  we should also work hard for what we can have.
i believe about it too. isn't it kinda rude to ask those few millionaires if they really deserve such wealth? I guess they become millionaires for a reason, and first is that they worked for it, believe on it, because if it happens that we asked someone, it is just like we envy their wealth and question their worth.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: March 26, 2018, 07:47:04 AM
Because it has no formal basis and regulatory authority, bitcoin is prone to be misused for illegal transactions, money laundering, bitcoin circulation as well as being illegal as it is unreachable to the Central Bank. This could potentially lead to markup or bubble. Therefore, the transaction of speculative virtual currency values. not only harm the community later, such transactions can also disrupt the stability of the state financial system.
i do think those were the reasons why some of the countries banned bitcoin while some are still planning to implement such laws. Whether it will be legalized or not, they must first examine and study how and what will be the effects during and after legalization of bitcoin to a certain country.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin is overpopulated how will it stop to limit the users? on: March 22, 2018, 08:21:37 AM
How bitcoin will prevent overpopulation?
Why do we need to prevent new people from entering the market? It is true that Bitcoin cannot handle huge volume of transactions in a day because it can only confirm limited transactions but preventing new people to buy or invest in Bitcoin will not solve the problem. Bitcoin is still not a perfect system and still needs a lot of improvement and needs to have a solution to its scaling issues. Instead of limiting people from using it (which is impossible to do since everyone can freely use Bitcoin) why not just focus on how to improve the network? lightning network will come out and lets see if it can solve this issue if it fails then schnorr signature will be the next option.
i highly agree with you, and to think that preventing the usage of bitcoin would be beneficial, i guess not, besides in order also to improve bitcoin, it really needs users, and it doesn't mean we will have to limit those who wants to use it, its not wise and its not a problem solver. and just to consider that it can freely be used by new users according to what you have said mate, so the best move should be improving the networks in order also to avoid traffic per transaction everyday.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the market turn and start growing again? on: February 17, 2018, 08:43:48 AM
Like many of you, i also think that no one knows the answer since bitcoin is unpredictible. Everything seems okay lately. Green mark is everywhere again. But still, for me it's too soon to trust so i’ll just observe the market for a while. Most people think the market will be much better in spring, i think i agree with them Smiley
No one can ever give a definite answer and even the professional traders will tell you to just watch out for some of the actions on the charts and make decisions based on it. We are still in a down trend and until we break out of this before we can really be certain that this is over, but for now, we may just have to chill and see how things end up and luckily for us, we may just see the start of a new trend after a very long holiday with the beers.

But at the same time, we still have to wait for the point where we can clearly state that we are indeed in the right spot and ready to start moving up again which for now, we are not yet. However, I am hopeful that we should start seeing some glorious days ahead of us and it all depends on how everything plays out in the chart but time will definitely give us that answer.
nobody could really tell when will turn up and as you have said even those expert traders can't exactly tell what will happen, instead they would just say to keep an eye on the charts. as for me once you are investing, you should not be dependent to what others may say, although sometimes it could help, because it may only lead to blaming to " because of this and that", you should rather be resourceful and make your own analysis and learn from those expert traders instead of being dependent, no offense its just my own opinion  Grin. Goodluck.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why I'm not believing in bitcoin as currency on: February 17, 2018, 07:16:33 AM
Things are still in the development mode and yet there is huge scope for the growth. The core values of Bitcoin are based on the decentralization principle and it makes sense to use it as a payment system. Ideally, it might not follow the criteria of the traditional currency but it is definitely a good option having potential to emerge as a payment system.
it may look like the OP was having bad times since then, that is why he's been mad about trusting bitcoin. Well we can't blame him either but if you look at the bright aide of this picture, there are lots of improvements lately and since the first launch and still it keeps running up until now.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: February 10, 2018, 10:52:23 AM
Indeed i am picky with them. You have to be picky if you don't want to waste your money on a scam or a shitty project. We are seeing more and more ICOs everyday and most of them don't worth to invest in. If you wanna get in a good one you need to analyze the campaign very deeply and check the background of it. Only then invest your precious money to an ICO, it's how i see this market.
as for me, its good to be aware about the ICO's and their backgrounds most specially the team and its platform. According to you its a waste of money to invest to some projects that are not worth it, you should also check about would they manage their ICO, it also matters maybe not as big as their future plans but could give impact to it.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret when it comes to Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2018, 07:49:18 AM
well as for me my biggest regret was when i was too scared on what bitcoin really is and just neglect it, just because of ignorance i missed the spot, and then later on i encountered bitcoin again, i laughed at it saying is this still alive, and then onwards i became curious to how did it really last long and it increases its value as time passes by, and then i feel so down when i realized what i really missed. so sad to recall.

130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins speculation for 2018? on: December 05, 2017, 02:09:18 PM
I believe it would reach 100k by the end of 2018  Grin Grin
Not that quick! It's a total different story for talking about $100,000. We will be there but not that fast on that year. There will be a big support on $20,000 - $40,000 as Novogratz said it will be reached next year.

A little off topic guys but do you think the banks are trying to scare people from Bitcoin and other crypto's? http://bitcoin-bug.com/2017/12/05/chinas-central-bank-believes-bitcoin-will/

It's a topic and you are just trying to promote your website here, make your own thread and talk about that topic there, just saying.
it seems that he is somewhat promoting his own site. well nobody knows as well on how much does bitcoin go for the next year or maybe for the next few years, but i've heard quiet plenty of people talking that it will be soon very high that we might not know how far already it goes.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop buying Bitcoin! on: December 03, 2017, 07:44:07 AM
You guys should stop buying Bitcoin - how am I going to fatten my wallet if the price keeps rocketing up?

What are we going to do when the Satoshi achieves parity with the dollar? Smiley

LOL. Nice bait. Anyway same reason! Stop buying so I can fatten my wallet as well!! Honestly, though, a lot have been buying bitcoins despite the expensive price. But a smart move would be waiting for the bitcoin price dip when buying bitcoins. You'll always want to buy bitcoins when the price is cheap.
nice suggestion anyways but it is too complicated and much stressful to always watch the market price and most importantly you know how to make your timing once it dips. there is also no way you can stop people from buying or having bitcoins in their wallet, its not that they will adjust by your needs, you need to adapt or else you will be leave behind.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable trading exchange or mining and why?? on: November 27, 2017, 01:54:11 PM
In recent months the difficulty in mining has increased a lot, I recommend trading with the currencies down because mining is hardly even giving good returns.

At the present moment, instead of investing in mining, I would buy bitcoin and keep it, because the valorization is yielding much more than mining. There are the mining in the cloud as well as the genisis mining that has some very cool yields and would be much better than investing in a machine to mine.

Just be careful with absurd profits that some miners promise as it can be a scam and you could end up out of harm's way

i have noticed that also, maybe because the price of bitcoin increases that is why it really is hard for the miners to cope up right now, but overall if asked which is better, mining can be good also, as long as you have the resources and you can manage the financial needs for your resource. it will be difficult also if you don't have enough resources and you are just planning to build your own mining resource, it will cost a lot nowadays, and to think that there is also extra money you need to reserve for the maintenance.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legalization or public awareness? on: November 26, 2017, 02:24:37 PM
each countries that banned bitcoin has their own specific reasons why did they do so. once it will be banned it will be on their local news, so public will be aware by that, come to think about it. when it comes to legalization, they cannot do it easily as possible, there are tons of studies need to do before implementing the law, and it needs to be looked carefully, there are also negative feed backs they often heard about using cryptocurrency. on the other hand, maybe they are just using the news to take advantage, that's what comes into my mind.
134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: November 25, 2017, 08:11:43 AM
Do not invest all your money. Must stay for a rainy day. I always leave 20% of the income untouchable. Otherwise, you can lose everything.
Yup safer side we have to keep some money or else we will face problems when we need urgent money. I will also invest money in bitcoins but not full only how much i can afford and my extra money.

Going all in coins and bitcoin might either make you one of the richest person in your neighbourhood or the poorest there. You should have some cash money in your bank account even though you're making great investments in coins.
for me its the most absurd idea investing all your savings into one, well you need to learn how to diversify your portfolios, manage how to divide the funds to each kind of investment, but most of all keep something as your savings and you do really need some cash for your own good. i wont either do the same way as sacrificing all of my savings to an investment, it is like you are entrusting your future and whole life to it. You already knew that nobody can tell what might happen next so, its better to be safe than sorry.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1 to $10 in 3 months? on: November 24, 2017, 03:57:25 PM
funny but just as what the people here saying, if we would knew that specific token or altcoin then we would probably put all our money into it, and then get out after three months. nobody can predict which and when those coins are going to pump or dump, just consider the risk of losing when you are willing to risk, its not that easy as you think, some of us here struggle to learn, and dedicate almost all of their time to learn and learn about it.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Providence (PVE) Physical Crypto Casino !!ONLINE BETA - 1st NOVEMBER!! on: November 24, 2017, 10:04:02 AM

137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC be blocked by government ? on: November 24, 2017, 06:09:02 AM
personally if you prefer saying banning bitcoin in a certain county, yes they can, that's the least they can do, not only to control the regulation of bitcoin and transactions, but for them also to secure safely that nobody would dare to disobey the law. it is also possible that they can totally ban bitcoin and use it for their own goods, because they had the power to implement and use their position to make advantage of the situation, but its not that I am badmouthing the government, but everything is possible within their powers.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successful ICO Experiences on: November 21, 2017, 03:42:28 AM
A complete ICO review is important and there are many factors which must be considered so see a successful ICO.
one of the most things you must consider once you are going to invest to some ICO, sad to say but there are so many ICO's that had passed which are consider to be unsuccessful and some of them were totally just off the bat, but there are also plenty that are considered to be legitimate and still they are working up until now, you'll just have to be aware before investing.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will die? on: November 16, 2017, 06:29:24 AM
Hello,

Looking at graphs from fork.lol (https://fork.lol/pow/hashrate) website, Bitcoin cash hashrate just doubled vs the Bitcoin core. It is currently at over 65% of total hashrate and growing...
This is very concerning because it will be very hard or even impossible to confirm transactions if this keeps going at this rate and more miners will switch to Bitcoin cash.
You might say that there will be 400% difficulty increase in BCH and all miners will switch back, but keep in mind there will be a fork tomorrow to fix just that.

So... I start wondering if this will be the end of bitcoin as we know it?

No! I can say that this is the plan of bitcoin if some people invest in bitcoin cash they will buy bitcoin if the bitcoin goes down and if the bitcoin cash go down again they will buy again bitcoin cash this is a logic.
There maybe some people trying to manipulate and grabbing the hash power from bitcoin to bitcoin cash just to destroy bitcoin, even making so many unconfirmed transactions spam.
But now you see, that price of BCH getting down again, it seems that bitcoin win again this time, the transactions queue also reduced slowly, just matter of time until diff adjustment.
well i would like to say we are not that sure if that is only a manipulated scheme or what, and besides there is no evidence we can see that they steal the hash. So there is no assurance that they really have it or what and we cannot judge it immediately just because the price of BCH goes down.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a fixed supply of bitcoins around the wolrd or is it printable like $? on: November 15, 2017, 11:26:50 PM
Is there a fixed supply of bitcoins around the wolrd or is it printable like $?
The fixed supply of the bitcoin was 21 million but in another calculation, the maximum supply of the bitcoin will be less than 21 million and why? due to the various reason just like hacked exchange site like mtgox.
And another personal case which makes the bitcoin loss in the wallet due to the forgetting their password or passphrase.
The supply of the bitcoin will not increase anymore.

yes i do agree too. besides if the supply was fixed it really do means that whatever happens to the rest of those bitcoins that are lost, forgotten passwords or even those hacked, it doesn't change the supply of what we have right now, and theres a still a little supply that wasn't mined and is yet to be mined.
