I think halvings and market increases are very influential because halvings cause the total bitcoin obtained to decrease each period, but other news from outside also influences crypto market movements.
as you mentioned earlier, Covid made the market increase slightly delayed and then rose again.
If after the halving there is no bad news like Covid that happened 4 years ago, I think it will happen during the 2016 halving and it will happen sooner.

To be honest we should probably assess market moves lot more to be sure if bear market ends or not. I hope bear market was ending around late August but I was proven wrong. I also check indicators regularly but in my opinion global crisis around the world also badly affected Bitcoin demand. People do not want to be early buyers to be left bagholders when we are in recession. I feel that 2024 will solve many of our issues.
and currently market conditions are starting to improve, even though there has been recent news, namely that Cz resigned from the position of CEO of Binance, because he was proven guilty of the charges that the SEC gave him. but I saw the market go up again after the news came out. it looks like 2024 is off to a good start for the bull market. |

I don't think there are any good meme coins, they are only backed up by the community and a lot of money like Pepe and Memecoin. Meanwhile for ordinary memes, it's just a pump and dump scheme coin, you could be lucky when you buy and they intend to pump, then you sell. |

If you ask 10 persons in here in which coins you should invest, then you will probably get 10 different answers, because everyone has their personal favorites. As the poster above me already said though, a lot of people are kinda skeptical about XRP. First of all they are basically fully centralized, which stand against the true purpose of cryptocurrencies and then there also is that SEC issue.
I personally think, that you can also look a little further down the coinmarketcap ranking to find good altcoin projects that are already very big and therefore pretty safe to invest but at the same time still have a little more room to grow than the projects that you have listed above. I personally like Cosmos for example, but as always DYOR.

I would avoid that, why do you intend to buy meme coins, I prefer projects that have a real function, or have benefits if you want long term.
but if you intend to take profit, you can watch the market movement and sell when the price rises.

Regarding the first question on building the portfolio, from my point of view, building the portfolio is never too late. When we say we need to or we are building the portfolio, it means it's an investment and that to for long term. I see every bear market is the opportunity to accumulate (with respect to the top coins).
I doubt the increase in 2021 will not be a good thing for entry, because it is already very high. so if the time is now that's a good thing. and it is better to accumulate than to buy all at once, because there will still be fuds such as cpi and fed interest rate, and there may still be other new fuds. |

These two coins are my chances to get back whatever I regretted before because of not trusting Bitcoin and Ethereum back when they were still cheap. BNB especially has a higher chance but due to what SEC is doing to them cornering Binance, it might take longer than what I am expecting.
Well, I do know they could win the case but there will be doubts from retail investors that could ruin the value of it and the reputation. Although I like the fact that XRP partially won their case which gives an optimistic view that other coins that is being attacked by SEC can also do the same.
I think bnb is still better than ripple, they have a good exchange and team, binance also invests a lot in crypto project startups. This will have a good impact on new projects, for example projects funded by Binance will look more attractive and people will be interested in them. |

NFT tokens and Crypto based real estate project the biggest scam to take place in last 3 years and I have listed the reason why I have come to this conclusion:
What's the use of NFT token in real life? for example altcoins have something to help with in real life and for example XRP has payment system, ETH has smart contracts which enables DApps but what is NFT it's just a digital representation and people wouldn't have invested into it, had it not been endorsed by celebrities and the Hype created. This would be a possible money laundering technique as we have seen some big shots had already bought literally a digital painting which is nothing more than a graphical illusion for millions of dollars which has zero use it's neither a product nor a technology or services.
What concerns me the most is the fact that people are fooled so easily to believe on everything they end up investing in these NFT projects and real estate projects just to life in the virtual world but in real world these has no uses.
If you feel my statements are incorrect then please share your response with a justification.
I agree that it is only paintings worth hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. It's different if you own an item or asset, and it's made in digital form but has a real part in real life. like justin bieber who bought nft for 1 million$ and now the price is less than 50k$. 2024 / 2025 (hopefully) will be my first bull run and the majority of my crypto is currently on cold storage and I am wondering if I should get some ETH ready now to pay for fees when it comes to selling or if I should wait till next year when I actually do sell - is there any difference?
I do not hold Ethereum but do have a few tokens that will require me to pay fees so wondering what is best to do have it ready now or if it doesn't matter and just wait till it actually comes to selling and pay then but obviously the price of Ethereum will be a lot higher next year then it is now so thinking is it best to buy now whilst cheaper?
of course people will look for the best time to buy, because it will provide profits when eth rises, and people are very confident that that year will be the next round. and of course there will be many projects preparing for this, as currently I see many projects will release their projects after postponing them during the bear market. |
