Looks like our old friend the Bitstamp wall of doom is back.
1205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 09:00:25 PM
Stamp below BTCe? What is this sorcery?

Gox coins being dumped on stamp.  Those are some "lucky" beta testers ..  Roll Eyes
If by "luck", you mean sucked Mark's dick, then those would be some very "lucky" beta testers.

220  Cry
bull trap do you think?

Normally, Gox storming up would have the other exchanges following it automatically. However, Bitstamp has this 8.5K wall and obviously will not budge, thus is holding the multi-exchange, 'recovery' back.

Lets you see how automated most of it all is.

Gox has its own monster 1.2k bid wall.

WOWOWOWOW Tongue

It's not quite as impressive if you look at the $ amount.

Good news guys, Mt. Gox is down to 170 again  Shocked  Smiley
I woke up this morning crying  Cry that I hadn't bought at 220 because I hadn't bought at 160  Cheesy
Well lucky me, I didn't buy at 330  Grin

Hope you got your goxcoins while the getting was good.  It's snapping back pretty hard now.
No. I think I've learned my lesson now  Cry. Hoping this is a bull trap
It looks like a textbook bull trap to me.
1208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 04:12:55 AM
MtGox just spiked. I guess people thought they saw the bottom of the dip.
1209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 04:09:23 AM
"Ok, so you understand orders can be cancelled after all other orders ahead of it are complete. What would removing the wall after every nibble do, and then replacing it? Nothing. "

Wrong, it scares people exactly as it did here, or excites them, into action.   Evidence is already at your feet.
The people on the market think, "I have to do something. This person obviously knows something that I don't. I better sell just in case."

And with a history of insider trading, who could blame them?

LOL

Looks like Gox isn't done dropping yet.

gox is going to 0 didnt you hear mark resigned from the foundation
I would have thought the market would have already reacted to that news. It's been about 30 minutes so far.

I don't know, it's still there on Bitstamp.
It keeps flashing in and out. Strange. Now it's back.
1214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 03:42:17 AM
This one is serious. 400 BTC taken from it and he stands firm.

Why does my bitcointy chart show he withdrew his sell bid?
1215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 03:38:18 AM
Someone bit the wall and it disappeared!
1216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 03:33:50 AM
I'm waiting for someone brave enough to take a bite out of that wall.
1217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 03:29:14 AM
That youtube video is from July. Nice try FUD'er.
1218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 03:22:15 AM

What? why? ... No... stop making nonsense.

What does it matter ANYMORE if hes a member of Bitcoin foundation. Infact noone gives flying fck about that BS organization.

MtGox is down 30% in the last hour. Markets don't fall 30% for no reason.
1219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2014, 03:19:30 AM
Not surprised, but this is probably the cause of the market instability. Most of us on here thought it was the whale on Bitstamp, but apparently not.

This news should in no way influence Bitcoin price.
It could imply that MtGox doesn't have any good news, or has a bad announcement. I would recommend shorting.
