Hi, i have been mining on this board all day: http://myr-skein.eminer.plIm using a R7850 on Intensity 6. It says "Best share: 323". It said a lot of times "Accepted fdslf23or or something Diff 1/1 GPU0" ..etc I have 0 COINS!! wtf? Why im not getting any coins? Also refused 0.0% Scrypt works as always, skein is bullshit thus far. What the fuck??? |

I'm not familiar with that error. What are you running and when does this occur?
It occurs everytime, when I open cgminer. For example im using cgminer_skein for MYR. Regular Scrypt coins work perfectly fine. |

Im using eorder's GPU miner (modified cgminer) windows to mine so MYR with skein algo, I keep getting "share is above target" and R: 100%. Whats going on?

Depends on the card... it definitely won't work with a 290 or 290X for sure im talking about memory ram. They meant GPU ram? or what. I have a R7850 |

I'd be interested in hearing your results. At one point I was mining script n with 3gb of system RAM (using a single GPU with 2gb of video RAM) with no major decrease in performance (1-2 kh/s lower).
But ive head it doesnt even work (as it doesnt even open) with 2GB. Im too lazy to set the whole thing. Can anyone tell me? |

The fact tit's the first coin ever to do an airdrop (whenever Cryptocurrencies history is taught, it will always get mentioned as the example), the fact it's Iceland, the fact it's also 21 million, the fact it's an official moolah supported coin, and the fact moolah may very well become a powerhouse name in the cryptobusiness in the future... Im holding for the long run at least some coins (long run = 1 year)

another altcoin advertisment with no intelliagent arguments to say how nxt is any better.
especially when the main coders of nxt, copy and pasted over 90% of the protocol, and just added layers on top.
this make people dependant and centralising their trust to one program.
instead of multiple programs, multiple services. giving the people freedoms and choices. so nxt is worse then the foundation.
and just like the whole DOGE scenario.. (pretending DOGE would be valued higher then litecoin) it now sits at under 200sat price point.
nxt and doge both have no retail merchant adoption of any large scale, no transference to fiat in any practical way..
and after a few months the mainy developers move on..
altcoins have yet to find a actually provable use that can sustain itself beyond 3 months of hype. which puts them all into a category of pump and dumps
the only xception to that rule is Hullcoin which appears to be getting local support from retailers and from local government of that area, which should power bitcoins adoption, by using Hullcoin as the sandbox trial for proper mainstream use.

And, let's say hypothetically that 1 BTC reaches these ridiculous prices. What will be the purchasing power of 1 BTC? Wouldn't basically mean that the USD dollar devalued itself 1mmth times? Even if it went to 1mm/BTC, so what? you could only buy a cheese burge with it. I just find the whole thing ridiculous. I hope im wrong and we all become rich, but the story about holding 1 BTC and waiting to be a millonaire sounds so ridiculous to me. And they could play the "the end of the world is near" card, and keep people waiting forever. |
