-ck has a way with words I'm even envious of.

With the pump in our hash I hope we grab another block soon.

I would reach out to our brokers, they're very conservative with speculation requests. We don't want to over promise anything.

Personally it all depends on the market your projecting. X11 has been #2 asic alt for a while now, equihash will be settling in soon. You could wait for new gear or bulk on cheap decent gear as well. GPU's give greater flexibility for alts as well.

The list of this or that is long. Most might say just buying Bitcoin outright would be best thing unless your dead set on starting a mining operation.

So I ordered the door louvers since it's cooling down here this seemed like the best place to start. Would hate to go through another season of the door lifted even just a couple inches.

Still trying to talk to manufacturers about demo'ing or wholesale but no one likes to send us stuff lol  . . not that I blame them. I'd just talk about it all day ffs. Only update for now. I'll hope to have pics of the door up in the next couple weeks.

So tempting to just grab one of these since I need psu's. .. . then I think of my exhaust project getting finished.

Yea, that was about the best rate I saw when I was offering some temporary space before. Good luck with the sale!

Nice, was there a release date yet on the 9 series or still just late Q4? Do you have pretty cheap power to mine with those and AC them? Or am I seeing things this early in the AM.
1209  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolin Whatsminer M10 - 33TH at 2145W on: August 31, 2018, 03:35:04 PM
Thanks HF. I guess a good winter project will be rerunning thicker gauge. I'd like to have 4 units per line. Simple math would make that 60A and 6 gauge wire I imagine.

We'll probably have to wait for units to land and reviews to come out before we web it. I think sales has placed a few special requests already though. Production might be tight for them since their second batch is listed two months out from September batch.
1210  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolin Whatsminer M10 - 33TH at 2145W on: August 31, 2018, 03:08:27 PM
I guess they haven't responded to our requests. :/

Hopefully we can list but since we've never done business with them before we'll be pretty conservative working with a company that can't reply for weeks and counting.

Edit: Selfishly I want one. How many of these is safe for my 240v 30A line? 2-3 units?

1212  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Fulijuntuan TITAN 110TH 3200watts 32watts/TH? Real or Not? on: August 31, 2018, 04:59:07 AM
This strayed off to asicminer pretty easily. The video's are on their website with Vosk. I don't know him but it just makes things more intriguing because of the lack of review with the demo.

Essentially if you can't control these, titan and nano, their physically vaporware. You're buying the hash rate their promising to give you by plugging this in. You're better off buying hash online? Unless your cold to, just hope they stay in business or at least maintain the website to "route your hash". Real or not. Don't buy this.

This is turning into a great logistics thread.

I got a ups online notification of $182 for import duties for z9 mini.  UPS shipped to california from HongKong.  This upsets me.  Is there anyway to dispute these outragious charges.

Unfortunately, the tariffs are enacted by the Trump administration. UPS isn't going to go against the government at this time. Just hope that in the future, the USA and China can come to some type of agreement.

Have to lobby your senators and reps, in the meantime all we can do is prep and classify your shipments or rely on luck.

But. I'm Hashing on, as usual...

Yeah man. Right there with you. When the shit hits the fan some men run and some men stand!
And some men take care of their children and wife by paying the bills.  I have no problem w people continuing to mine in this heat and current price but very, very few are mining at a profit right now.  As a hobby mine on. From a business perspective. Buy now, mine later. Just the facts with no ill intent for any one in the BTC ecocycle.

Depends on your power rate, but yes. If can't afford the bills power down and buy, otherwise you wont have power to do anything.  ..
1216  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 17.2TH/s, 1570W Innosilicon announces the most powerful and efficient BTC Miner on: August 30, 2018, 04:30:31 AM
I'm sure it was just my fresh eyes, I received my T2T this afternoon haha

Were you able to send a wire or did you get good BTC rate?
1217  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [180PH] ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: August 30, 2018, 04:24:19 AM
I didn't abandon ship when we went four weeks without a block back in April. Two days is nothing. We've been running with some fast double block dsys lately so, a stagnate period isn't ideal but not surprising. I only drop hash when the heat is crazy and have to shut a couple down, other than that. Mine on.
1218  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Launches Antminer S9 Hydro on: August 29, 2018, 08:39:37 PM
for those interested, the S9 Hydro is now available on the bitmain.com website - no longer China-only.

Miner itself is $780 USD. With radiator + PSU it comes to $1008 USD or 0.18645827 BTC as of [right now]

For the whole set we have it listed just over 1.4k. Seems shipping charges are higher for this but the APW5 is 2600w and is $10 less than the APW3++ they have. Since I need 2 more psu for the evga's that arched I'm going to grab these. I'll have to have web check shipping prices for other antminers see if they've change their rates on all their listings.
