1201  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: TheShowOff-all ANTMINER mining rigs. on: March 14, 2014, 12:22:49 AM
Best way to mitigate noise/heat while they are hashing at default speeds, my bad it seems I did not clarify.
1202  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: TheShowOff-all ANTMINER mining rigs. on: March 14, 2014, 12:17:16 AM
Best way to lower noise and heat output on these bad boys?
1203  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S2 Speculation thread on: March 13, 2014, 11:34:30 PM
Comparing the gains from U1 to U2 should be reasonable. Considering that according to there website, the only difference is a extra 400 mh/s from U1 to U2 (or 20% increase) with no change to power consumption, and slightly bigger footprint, proabbly to accommodate the different heatsink, I think a reasonable speculation/assumption would be the S2 having the same power consumption (360w Im hearing from forums) and having 20% increase in hash ( or 216 gh/s) with out OC. This may be flawed, but Bitmain is selling the U1 for 18 BTC while u2 is 13.9 BTC per 500 units. This may be the preorder, but if that scales as well, we could expect a 33% discount in price or .77BTC. Just my thoughts.

1206  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.996 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 13, 2014, 10:29:35 PM
Should I buy from the main website or should I buy from ninjatech.org/112bit.com as they both claim to be USA distributors.

Are they shipping from the US or just taking orders from the US?  Big difference.

Ninjatech claiming in stock, free 3-5 business day shipping from the US.
1207  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 112 Bit vs Ninjatech vs Bitmain?? on: March 13, 2014, 10:27:54 PM
The official website technically has the cheapest price, its cheaper by .002 BTC. Should I buy from main, or ninjatech, as they are cheaper? Or wait till the s2 that I've been hearing in the forums is announced?

1210  Bitcoin / Hardware / 112 Bit vs Ninjatech vs Bitmain?? on: March 13, 2014, 06:58:17 PM
I know Bitmain is the supplier, but the other claim to be the official distributor of antminers, so where should I buy antminers if I live in the USA?
1211  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Any info on the antminer s2? on: March 13, 2014, 03:23:02 PM
ETA? Buying soon, IDK if I should buy 2 antminer's and build my way up to 6, or wait till the second gen
1212  Bitcoin / Hardware / Any info on the antminer s2? on: March 13, 2014, 03:13:29 PM
Not to be confused with the antminer USB model.

Are you still shipping? Trying to find out which distributor to use as I live in USA, this place seems promising xD
1214  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC.miners that are shpping right now/ or reliable? on: March 13, 2014, 02:03:32 PM
The s2? What is the hash, price, power consumption, and availability date supposed to be on that? If you could provide a link to the place where they are being announced that be great.
1215  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: March 13, 2014, 12:25:21 PM
So a 1200 watt? I heard something about 12 V rail, is it fine to run 3 on a single rail? What PSU do you recommend to run 3 antminers, 2 lower end, or one higher end power supply?
1216  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: March 13, 2014, 11:07:02 AM
If I had a 1000w that had 6 6+2 pcie connectors, I could power 3? Would just have to supply the plugs and Ethernet?
1217  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: March 13, 2014, 10:52:43 AM
Is there a way to do this without butchering 6 pins? I'm quite not getting how this goes...
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you think of Noblecoin? on: March 13, 2014, 10:44:15 AM
Wow... Hate to be cheesy, but that's noble.
1219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC.miners that are shpping right now/ or reliable? on: March 13, 2014, 10:34:55 AM
So I should get them?
1220  Bitcoin / Hardware / ASIC.miners that are shpping right now/ or reliable? on: March 13, 2014, 03:24:01 AM
It seems that SHA-256 is profitable, coinwarz telling me $23 or so mining straight up BTC (360 GHS, 2 ant miners) or.other coins. Should I dive in, get 2, maybe 3 antminers call it a day? What should I do?
