Did not know all that about KNC. Although it does irk me they are free to do what they want with their coin (including dumping) but if they are selling used hardware as new....well, I believe that is illegal. At least it is here in the States.

Fibonacci does look to have some nice numbers but aren't they an unknown manufacture with no previous proven hardware?

It's better to ask anything you want to know here ( it probably has been answered too ) :

I ordered a Recursion from them

Cool!
When are they delivering? What is their release date?
Or, is it just more vapor ware?
Hope not!
8650KH/s is pretty darn nice for under $450!
Can ROI on that in less than a week!

don't forget that by then diff's will fly because of all those new miners

In germany "nemercry" here on the forum is also selling them with and without voltmod
And regarding the electricity in Ireland, sincerely if you use on that's 7 watt you will not even notice it!

Yeah not knew it´s very low electricity in scrypt-only mode which i´m using it for, dual mode it´s around 60 Watts.

120€ is a very good price, paid 50€ more but oh well at least it comes with cables , freeshipping and brandnew.
Rasperry PI`s i need , but later.

I want setup a media home server (XBMC) with a Rasperry PI also  Wink

PS: This "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!" nerves me   Undecided Because it´s not true. I was speaking about cloudmining in a handfull af threads thats all.

How can i contact admin or what is name of admin here?

Well contact the one that has put you negative vote, it is an admin.

you might want to look also if you cannot find a cheap pc to use with Xubuntu, it seems to run much better than a PI and much more stable.

and the one I bought at 120€ at eyeboot is brand new with cables and PSU Wink

Yeah I would love to use Moolah, but as I'm in Europe I cannot buy trough fiat as it's USA banks only Wink

Ok, not sure where to post this so for lack of a better place I will put it here for discussion:

KNC is now specifying a MINIMUM of 250 Mh/s for 10K or $40 per 1 Mh/s! Compare that price to performance cost to the Gridseed 5 chip miners (360 Kh/s) and they should be selling for $14.40 each  Shocked

Supposedly KNC is shipping Q2/Q3 2014 but by that time they may increase the hashrate yet again (originally specified at 100 Mh/s about two weeks ago?).
If KNC wasn't a reputable company I would call BS.

I find myself hard pressed to order more Gridseeds at $165/piece  Huh

Prelude.io has fiat/bc and btc/bc, they're pursuing full finCEN compliance and are registered in Wyoming. A Coinbase type service might not be as far away as you guys think. Moolah will be putting out ATMs soon as well, so if we have enough volume on Prelude, it's likely we'll be on their ATMs as well.

I did just use http://www.virwox.com successfully. You have to buy some linden dollars, which fast transfer to bitcoin. You get the current rate then it takes 48hrs (seems long) to get to you for a new customer. It's not fast to receive your coin, there's the normal fee but it felt fast and safe. They have different fiat options.
Prelude could be great. But the options are really tricky and limited for people.

Ehh I used virwox too for a try, but found it real bad, you pay transactions fee for everything, plus due to conversion rates they did not sell all my lindens for BTC and did not use all my $ to buy linden.

So there is still like 10 euro cents left there plus some linden.

I used Localbitcoins before, and it also takes a day, and you can enjoy wat better rates.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Aphrodite Coin [APH] boost of Cyprus economy - Coinmarketcap position 5 ! on: April 01, 2014, 11:28:59 PM
hahaha

Same old sad story.  And exactly HOW many times did I warn you guys in the past week that the dev was dumping on you blind bats and you continued to kiss his ass and not question exactly how much went to bounties?

And you all listened to this 'julianL' shill instead and now have lost your asses.  God, this forum is like a broken record.  Some of you wouldn't know you were scammed even if the dev posted and said 'hey guys im scamming you!'...you'd just continue to buy and hold and shill for a pump.

As said so long ago...you guys continually ignore warnings, so you deserve to lose every penny you did.

Same shit with greececoin.  So many sheep on this forum.

So true, every time I told them get out, you will be burnt, everyone was trowing rotten tomatoes at me an calling me names..

http://cryptomining-blog.com/1828-updated-cgminer-3-7-2-and-cpuminer-for-overclocking-gridseed-5-chip-gc3355-asics/

Oh and about high electrical price, they only run 7/8 watt in srypt! I dont advice you to run them in dual mode.

And about the multi pools, you can check the best multipools here :

http://poolpicker.eu/text.php

there seems to be a new one too, coinfu that seems promising

Thanks! The first link was in my bookmarks already from yesterday, not want to be totally unprepared when it arrives so i was googlein `

I want scrypt mode only for mine an altcoin i´m interested in, for btc i have PBmining  , for what dual mode Tongue.

Send you friendship, Tell me when yours arrive.

here is a setup youtube video i found for scrypt only mining: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sim6F_egM2g

heheh Eyeboot, I know them, that's where I bought my first miner, only paid 120€ for it because I paid in Bitcoins.

Bitcoins that I bought on Localbitcoins in an interesting exchange rate so that finally the price came this low, as Eyeboot also gives

10% discount on bitcoin payment.

Second one I bought it from someone that started mining but gave up because too impatient for altcoins, I bought the miner only on ebay for 110€

in my opinion if we get below 0.0001 it is going to be bloody hard for the price to recover and for the investors to regain faith in the coin...at this point it is pretty useless for me to get out, but still even if holding and admiring the dev, I'm quite worried

DEV, if you develop a SECURE online website that let's you buy Amazon.es gift cards for SPA, you will make your coin succeed.

that's a real good idea indeed

Yeah, I had considered that, along with other gift cards/codes for well-known retailers.
Would any of you want to do that? It doesn't have to be us directly, you know Wink Anyone can contribute, you could make your own gift card selling service!

True, and here in Spain there are alot of shops that have giftcards, from Corte Ingles to Carrefour heck you could even sell pre paid phone cards for the major operators like orange etc..

because BLACKCOIN.

no seriously I dunno but someone will probably tell you Wink

Let's have a once monthly International Blackcoin rent-a-farm day. Say, the first Friday of every month - we can call it Black Friday -Everyone who can rents a fucking GPU-farm for 24 hours and hits the Blackcoinpool. It would be a great way to bring the worldwide Blackcoin community together.

It's happening people! Black Friday has become a reality. Already on twitter @BlackCoinPromo #blackfriday

Retweet the shit out of it!

And BTdSzZBRn4wqiWgPzJtYuTgGRJB78NPfEd is the official community promo. Donate!

(and if you wanna show me some love for coming up with this idea...toss a few BC's at the BlackCoin Music Video  Wink )

Will point all my hashrate, what is the starting time ? or anytime during friday ?

all aboard hype train to Friday....

That's cool, I'll be booking a rig to mine there.

can you tell us when it will be open so that I can tell the time when they need to start mining?
1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed Miner Support/Tuning on: April 01, 2014, 05:03:04 PM
I'm familiar with virtual com ports and all that from phone flashing.

I was able to get it working on a custom clean installed Windows 8.1 64 bit computer.  I used the WinUSB and a copy of CGminer.  I could NOT get this thing to work on Usb 3 and on any laptop I had.

Now I can only get two on, the rest are not detected.   Does BAMT with a modified cgminer work for this asic

For me it didn't work connected directly to an USB 3 port but worked on a USB 2 hub connected to a USB 3 port. Not sure what would be an issue with a laptop.

BAMT is a bit of an overkill for this, since it has all that AMD crud installed. But yes, you can compile a modified cgminer version on it and it would work. I don't know if it would help with USB 3 though.

I think it's still a minority that cannot make the Gridseed's work, there has been hundreds of thousands sold, and you see very few people with problems. As for USB3 we all know they only work well on UB2 port and hub

I've had my gridseeds for two weeks now. the first week I was running 20 off a Pi Rasberry with cpuminer and they'd run great for about 8 to 10 hours then they'd just slow down and my pool stats would start off showing them as running at about 7,200 Kh/s and then they'd start to slow down to abut 3,500 Khs and I'd reboot the Pi and they'd run fine again.

I got tired of this after about 5 days so last saturday I put Ubuntu server 13.04 on an old PC I had laying around and downloaded and compiled cgminer for gridseed and for about about 100 hours now and they've been perfect - non stop.

I have NONE experience with Ubunto ( or a Pi ) but I know I asked someone and he runs even more of them on xubuntu with 0 problem

I've been looking a bit in how to use Ubuntu, but coming from windows experience only, it seems a bit complicated all that compiling etc.. ^^

Is it too late to get onboard with this coinn?

It hasn't even gotten started yet IMO. If you want on the blackcoin express, make sure to get a ticket by Friday.

It certainly has not made his way up yet, this is long term investment, HOLD  Wink
