Spurs decide that Victor Wembanyamas Summer League is over after two gamesI guess this is all part of the grooming plan and he had shown enough for the summer league. The preparation for the upcoming season should be prioritized then. They made the right decision. I was waiting for such a decision. We'll see when the regular season starts. I think that the best centre-forward formula for Galatasaray was to bring back Icardi. Because he was like a goal machine last season as you all can remember - 22 goals in 24 Super League matches. He is still 30 years old and not an old age for a striker to me. He can be really useful for Galatasaray for at least a couple of more years thanks to his high quality.
It has been a long time since we last saw Turkish teams signing bigger names like Icardi. I mean the brightest times of Turkish football was for example when Galatasaray signed players like Drogba, Sneijder and Fenerbahce brought van Persie and so on. Now our teams can't convince these players to come here as easy as back then.
The biggest reason they can't convince big players is money. Arabs can easily convince big players by offering very high money. Most big players choose Arab League because of money. That's why no one comes easily. |

My dark horse for this season would be the Houston Rockets, I think they're looking like the real deal for a team filled with young stars, the addition of Dillion Brooks and Fred VanVleet will surely bring a new chemistry to the franchise, and the likes of Kevin Porter Jr, Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, Alperun and Eason had a good season despite Houston finishing as the 2nd worse team in the league.
An exciting team to watch for sure. I'm looking forward to how they will disrupt the West next season. Definitely I agree with you. They made good reinforcements for the team. I believe they can do great things next season. Alpere Şengün is my favorite player in Houston Rockets.  |

Portland also talks great about how theyre going to do what it takes to make Dame happy, but at the end of the day its a business and the best deal will be the one they take, regardless of how it makes them look. The Blazers are also not pleased with the offer from the Heat, as it is not attractive enough. There are numerous teams that would be interested in acquiring Lillard, and the Blazers would likely be happy to explore trade possibilities. However, if Lillard himself is not content with the potential destination, it could create complications for the receiving team. In this kind of situation, it would depend on the specific circumstances and the priorities of the Blazers' management. They would need to carefully consider Lillard's wishes, team dynamics, potential trade packages, and long-term goals in order to make the best decision and handle the situation effectively. Yeah, but on the sample you shared, the referees were forced to stop the game while there is a live ball. It should be done during a dead ball. The guard is trying to make a play and is surprised a whistle was blown. Just to avoid those sudden shocks. They will give people heart attacks. Yes I know, maybe the referees made such a mistake because the rule is new. I think it will not continue like this in the next games. NBA management needs to explain the rule again to the referees. |

And it was said it is not required for him to stop the game but he still did after one play. There seems to be another problem that will come out after this. It is a live ball and the play is supposed to happen and then suddenly the refs blew his whistle. Perhaps they should change that by just calling it during a dead ball. I don't know if that is what they call "the next neutral opportunity". IMO, it is bad because they are in the heat of the game. The committee on the sidelines will have a big factor here, they could just tell them it was a flop so that it will be listed and they will notify the refs once a dead ball happens. And, it gives a free timeout that may ruin the game or take advantage of it. There are still holes in this new rule. But, like I said in my earlier posts, I want to see the consistency of the referees when they call this type of violations. They are still missing a lot of those calls that could've been offensive fouls. An anticipated rule change, the NBA needed it. Players will be more careful after this rule change. Some players are probably upset about this rule change. Trae Young and Joel Embiid used these fouls a lot. |
