1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: November 28, 2023, 12:44:00 PM
How come you could make such a mistake even after being active here preaching against addiction. It's a pity though that you would have to go through this as a result of the loan you took for gambling and it turns out south for you.  It would have been meaningful if the loan was used for other purposes like investment into Bitcoin or other investments worth it to generate revenue or profit on the long run. I could feel the pains you are going through now to have mortgaged your future income to repaying your loans together with interest for what you did not benefit or make profit  from.

Indeed this is a lesson learnt in a hard way. Maybe you could have avoided this if you had controlled yourself and exercise some self-restraint from gambling and being addicted. This will teach other members here some lessons on how to gamble responsibly and have a budget for their gamble without going beyond their limits.

Avoid taking loans to  gamble as it is not a guarantee that you could make profit or fortune from gambling.  Gamble what you can afford to lose and gamble within your limit.
1202  Economy / Services / Re: Im looking for customers and partners around the world for new crypto escrow on: November 28, 2023, 10:08:58 AM
Writing such a lengthy article would not get you what you want here but what are your track records, do you have the reputation established already to handle such here. As you may wish to know platform members can not jeopardise their hard earned resources to a newbie account with no much activities and engagements here, nobody or a well established and reputable member to vouch for your services here.  I think you should get back to your table and do your planning properly. If you talk about escrow services, there are many here with lots of track records to their identity and are successful with good reviews.

So therefore, I would join examplens to ask you same question. Who are you?
1203  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monk.gg - Crypto's Homegrown PvP Casino on: November 27, 2023, 11:56:04 PM
Good that you have reacted so quickly with this issue. Yes, majority of us here are not comfortable with Discord including myself. And as gamblers we prefer support that is present right away to answer your doubts.

Again, we also appreciated your response here and it just shows that you are taking this game on another level.

So are just starting I believed so there could be trust and reputation issue in the beginning. But if you can proved yourself like being so fast with our comments and suggestions, we might lean towards giving you a positive feedback.

Edit: I don't know though if you have a official Telegram account? that might be good as well as again, community here uses Telegram the most for instant communication.
We strive to keep both the community and players happy Smiley

And yes, our official telegram server can be found here - t.me/monkdotgg. I updated this, as well as the new support email, in our main ANN post.
You claimed to have updated it but I just checked your website now it is still the same. I clicked the live support but nothing coming forth. So what did you changed at your website then if you claimed you made changes here did you also effect it ok no your website? These are the little things that should be properly dealt with before making any move because any mistake can cause ones reputation here. This is just a honest review done on your website and you are not taking it seriously I was wondering if you really want to do business here.
1204  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monk.gg - Crypto's Homegrown PvP Casino on: November 27, 2023, 09:36:40 PM

Welcome to the BitcoinTalk platform. It is nice having you here. I checked your platform, and I must say that you have a good user interface to start with and well-designed graphics. If I may ask, is your customer care service active on your website? because I tried chatting with them to make inquiries, but it was not coming forth. However, I will advise you to do a review on your casino to get things well done before the start so as to avoid any issues in the future, just as I just noticed about your customer care service.
Our customer support can be reached in our Discord server by making a support ticket - and we haven't received any tickets since this post was made. If you have any concerns open a ticket there, thanks.

OP, what then happened to the support on your website, which is very important? Do you think everyone who visits your website will find it okay to click to join your discord when there are lots of hacks on discord ? Must someone click on Discord before you give them attention? This is beginning to sound fishy. How can you put up a support chat box when it is not functional? Someone was able to observe it and call your attention and what you could do is refer them to your discord server Do you think everyone has a Discord account? Can someone or a prospective client not make enquiries about your casino online or via your support?
1205  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Make una dey careful when trading on: November 27, 2023, 08:44:58 PM
I can remember binance trading caution against p2p trades outside the binance platform with anybody, be it  a buyer or a seller. If your friend constantly uses Binance p2p, she should be conversant with the trading caution against trading outside the platform for their  own safety. It is not normal that somebody should demand your contact information while trading p2p, and you give them and go as far as accepting to do deals outside the platform without thinking of your own safety. Whatever happens in the cause of that action would not be entertained by Binance, irrespective of whether the contact was exchanged or met via the Binance platform, because they already put caution in place for traders to call their attention to scammers using the platform and for them to be careful and trade safely.

Trading outside the p2p platform is very risky, and as such, one must be very careful, and the amount of promise in price variation should not make anyone fall victim to it. If they insist for a face-to-face meeting with you to guarantee you their trust and reliability, just know that they are up to something else, and your safety is not guaranteed as they have promised but rather a kidnapping attempt or they trail you to your destination to harm you. Be careful, be wise  and do not fall victim of any such out of p2p platform trade.

Nobody should be deceived into trading outside a p2p platform by any trader you meet via that  platform requesting your details to contact you. It is very risky and, as such, should not be attempted by anyone. Put your safety first, as that is paramount to your wellbeing as a trader or an individual.
1206  Economy / Economics / Re: #HODLing is not a smooth journey on: November 27, 2023, 05:08:31 PM
Hodling is not a child's play neither is it for the faint hearted but for the strong minded investors who deem it fit to do so based on motivation and believe in their investments to yield positive results in the long run. Most times, there are series of temptation to ones plans of hodling for a long time but when one is disciplined and exercise self-restraint to their investment, there wouldn't be any compromise on their own part.

However, it is advisable to invest in what you can afford to lose and it should be something that would not bother you much if anything happens to it. Such investment should be a long term investment with the plans of hodling very firm.
1207  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it difficult for people to get capital easily? on: November 27, 2023, 04:50:37 PM
OP, life they say is not a bed of roses. So in other words one must work to achieve anything in life.
With respect to your topic matter,  I  know securing capital for an investment is quite a tough one as it involves one getting money from available source to start up. As an individual, sometimes you might decide to save to raise capital for your business but along the line, emergency that needs urgent attention would force you to touch your savings and that would make you not be able to meet your target.

However, if you mean to start up a business to sourcing for investors, your business plans must be very attractive to entice your prospective investors to giving you the funds to start up your business if they deem your business proposals very interesting. Many have been able to raise up capital through this stuff and are doing just fine. You must have facts to back up your business plans and proposals but one thing I can say is that there are lots of people out there looking for business to invest their money with reasonable return on investment. If only only you can prove your point, to your prospective investors, then you can win their pockets to invest in your project.
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: What would you do in this situation? Invest or save? on: November 27, 2023, 04:13:46 PM
OP I will remind you this that there is no business on earth that is risk free. Every business engagement involves a risk whether big or small there is every tendency that there will be hurdles along the way but the ability to curtail such hurdles depends on how smoothly the business would scale through.

Of a truth no business started big as it is today. The big names and giants in the business world all started small and being consistent with their services. If one starts small it is not a bad idea that they would be making profit bit by bit and that would enable them be able to expound their horizons with the experience they have gained in the process of starting small. So therefore, I would advise that your friend split the money irrespective of any amount already saved to try that business and see how it goes in a small scale.

On the other hand, if  your friend finds it okay investing the other half of the money into Bitcoin that is no problem as long as your friend initially had the plans of waiting to complete the $15k to $20k I think your friend can be patient enough to try buying Bitcoin and holding for a long term while managing the little business already established and growing it up as the time goes on.
Buying and holding Bitcoin for a long time I know would yield profit for your friend  which would be a plus for him.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Often Do You Check Your Seed Phrase. on: November 27, 2023, 10:44:03 AM
not that often mate , because  there is no need to check my Seed because of being safe and I am confident enough.

Not sure why people need to check it from time to time? sometimes our continues checking will send chances for this  to be hacked or phish .

and also When need to transfer and withdraw yes that is the time I need to check them again .

There is no wrong in one checking for their key phrase regularly or constantly because that would give them an assurance that their key phrase are still where they are kept which is advisable to do for security reasons.

Why it is done is to know if there is any shift or change in position where the details were kept so the owner would know if there is any compromise as to warrant him or her to move the assets from that wallet to a new one.  If you read OP post well you will notice that OP made a statement which points towards that direction and it happened that OP noticed it as a result of his relocation from his previous place to a new place which warrants he checked for it if it is still intact where he kept it. That alone could make some one lose their assets thinking they had backup somewhere written down but unknown to them they had lost it while moving things from one spot to another.

This is why it is good to constantly checking on your keys if Stored or written down and kept elsewhere for safe keeping purposes. So I am would say it is not bad for a constant check on ones key phrase regularly.
1210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin transaction time reduce in future? on: November 27, 2023, 08:17:35 AM
I believe you use wallet App for doing transfer and possibly in the course of doing the transfer payment option pops up for you to choose and after that, you approve of the transaction and what you approve is what you get "garbage in, garbage out " that is the result of what you get based on the payment option for confirmation you choose and each of them has their own fee attached depending on the timing or how fast you want your transaction to be confirmed.

I believe if their are more miners, the confirmation speed or time would be lesser than it used to be and possibly, the price would reduce irrespective of the increase in daily transactions if I am not mistaken.

1214  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack game with side bets. on: November 24, 2023, 11:04:44 PM
Op you can't come to a forum like this and ask People to download game or a app that we don't know. This can't be done here in the forum. And by the way, blackjack has an ANN thread in the forum so if they want anyone to download an app concerning their casino they can do that through their ANN thread and not like this.

If you look into OP profile, you will notice that OP has not been online for some days now and the representative of black jack casino has not been able to say anything with respect to this thread since it was created by OP which speaks of volume. With this act one should be able to know that there is something fishy about this app presented here by OP and not only that, OP absence shows that the app is fake but meant to scam people. So it would be advised that people be careful while dealing with this OP post and content.
1215  Economy / Gambling / Re: Reel Crypto - The Best Online Crypto Casino on: November 24, 2023, 10:45:44 PM
Welcome into this forum  Reel Crypto!

Just like been said or advised above that it would be nice or better if you do purchase up some copper membership on at least having some fancy ANN thread.
Checked out the site and it isnt really that looking bad and really that nice rather. Games offered are those common in todays standard though.

I did check about your No deposit bonus terms.
Please note that to be able to withdraw winnings from a "No Deposit Bonus"* you will first need to fill in your personal information under "Profile and settings">>"Account info" and provide KYC documents (identity document and proof of address).

https://www.reelcrypto.com/en/bonus-terms

I do not think they already have that kyc option to be verified through the customer profile dashboard, as I inquired about it and was told that kyc for the moment should be forwarded to "support@reelcrypto.com" for verification, and the dashboard option to upload kyc documents is not available, as said by the customer service.

This aspect of the customer care response got me a bit confused and made me think about the credibility of their casino. They encourage customers to play without registration and would demand verification for active status. I really do not get this. Can their representative please come up to give or make further explanations on this?
Basing up on the response on which their support been saying is that you can play into the site even without having that "registration" not literally that sign up thing but for sure he do talks about
sending out those documents or simply being fully verified. I do agree that if you would really be trying out to understand on what the support say then it would really boggle up your
mind on what kind of registration that pertaining into unless if you have clarified it out but basing up on the sentence then it would be registratioin = KYC.

I agree on how their support do really respond on which its not really that something clear and english isnt really  that well composed ?
Or it is really just that me?

Possibly, it might be some language response error I assume because after I had finished chatting with the customer care service, I was not really okay with the response not until this last update given which made me sceptical about the casino.  I had a second thought about it and I became more curious about the casino based on my enteraction with the casino customer care and here we are their representative have not been online for some days now to reply to questions and inquiries about their casino which makes it more difficult to deal with.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin History Book 2008-2024 PROGRESS REPORT on: November 24, 2023, 09:51:58 PM
I will start by congratulating you on the success you have achieved in putting this material together. I know what it takes to work on things of this nature when it comes to academics or something that involves research, the compilation of different materials, and writing to achieve the goal of publishing a book. I must say that you have gone a long way in putting things together for the sake of the bitcoin community, especially the newbies to having a material of this nature. As you have said, this would be a very good legacy you have left here, and the community would forever be happy about what you have done. This book would serve as enlightenment material which would educate bitcoin enthusiasts more about bitcoin and its inception, the founders, and how they began the bitcoin journey into the world. It is remarkable that a book of this nature has finally emerged.
Congratulations once more.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The love in football on: November 24, 2023, 08:25:36 PM
Football, in general, is a popular game that stands as a symbol of unity. It was created for fun and to relieve stress, with moments  worth noting. People do love football for its entertaining nature and the vibes it gives. I believe you can attest to the fact that whenever it is time for football season, their is always unity amongst groups, individuals, etc., irrespective of ethnicity, tribe, religion, and lots more. People tend to unite while watching football matches in support of a particular team as a result of their fan base and the players involved. Although not everybody likes football and it is only those who have that love for it can say it much better.
1218  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Have anyone heard about a platform called Adswage? on: November 24, 2023, 07:05:22 PM
"Prevention is better than cure," as the adage says. OP, that name sounds strange here, as I have not come across it before. I had to do a search here to verify for myself, but nothing of the nature here. Just like other members have said here, I will also join them in giving you such advice as well. Run away from that site for your own life; otherwise, you stand a chance of being scammed by scammers. You should count yourself lucky to have knowledge about this platform to make inquiries about them. This was a smart move by you to safeguard yourself from stress.

I will request that you make that website known here so we can see for ourselves and take every necessary step and caution to stay clear of it.
1219  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Winz.io confiscated winnings after a sudden change in terms and conditions on: November 24, 2023, 06:37:16 PM
Hello again.
I wanted to inform you that, as announced by winz.io on CG, all amounts due have been refunded.

I would like to thank the forum members for expressing their opinion in this post, because the casino representative was certainly also following this thread and both the topic on CG and here on bitcointalk made the casino reflect.
I think that without you we would not have been able to resolve this matter positively.

Thanks again  Wink
Regards!

Congratulations on getting back your refund! A problem shared is a problem solved. You took a bold step by bringing your complaint here for fast attention, for which you were given a good and excellent treat. This platform has been able to resolve many cases between casinos and their members, with both parties present here as registered members too, and the casinos here know the relevance of this platform in the online casino industry and, as such, would want to maintain their relationship with the platform and the registered members here.

As we all know, there are other aspects of this platform that you would find interesting if you made the time to go through them for yourself. Nevertheless, as your case has been resolved successfully, it would be nice if you locked this thread to avoid spamming.
