You cannot specify the network for USDT because Coinbase does not support any other chains except for ERC-20 for USDT withdrawals.
Are you sure about this? I did not use Coinbase a long time and forgot my account there, can not check it at the moment but from their FAQs, it seems they support multiple chains for both deposits and withdrawals. Yes, I am 99% sure. I have heard from a couple of sources that they wrote their BSC address to withdraw their funds, but later, they saw Coinbase used the ERC-20 chain to release the USDT withdrawal. If anyone uses the the same wallet address for both BSC and ERC-20 chain, they may able to get the fund but if someone does not have access to multiple chains, the fund is lost. I did not used Coinbase for years and I am not up to date. But, as you can see from this case, they did not let him choose the network. So, I assume it's same how it was years ago. So, I am 99% sure they do not support multiple chains for USDT withdrawals at this moment. The reason is so simple. They are hoping to get some merits. Newbies see some forum members got some merit because they have shared what they did with their Bitcoin, and those topics earned some merits. For example, A legendary member started to accept Bitcoin in his shop which is good for Bitcoin. There are some people who are unlikely to lie about their business. I am a newbie and I want to earn some quick merits. I saw their posts getting merits so I thought why not make up a story and post it to get some merits? You cannot specify the network for USDT because Coinbase does not support any other chains except for ERC-20 for USDT withdrawals. So, if you are withdrawing your USDT from Coinbase, make sure to use ERC-20 wallet address so you don't lose your coins. I have used coinbase while ago and I don't remember if I were able to exchange coins between currencies. So, I am not sure if you will be able to exchange your coins for some efficient coins. If you talk about withdrawal or the transaction fees, I guess TRX or Doge is the best option to make cheap transactions. Also, it takes only a few minutes to get confirmed. |

As long as I have been investing in Bitcoin and trading here, I have never experienced a major hack. But I sent some fraction of my bitcoin amount to wrong address but till now I didn't encounter any scammer. I guess most of us made this wrong address mistake at some point. I guess I did this a while ago and ver recently, I was confused with the chain. I was trying to withdraw USDT to a TRC-20 chain while I selected the ERC-20 chain. Apart from the wrong address by mistakes, I wasn't targeted by hackers yet. I guess most of us already know about the clipboard hack as well. If someone's device or browser get hacked, if victim try to copy a address to send funds, a different address get copied and the victim send the fund to hackers address. Which is why crypto users need to double check the address before sending the funds. |

 I don't know if this captcha is for a user TOR only, but for a site that manages user funds is a good step for security. and, sometimes I have to do it twice because got a wrong answer, but I feel there is no fault I did before. I don't know if this is a TOR connection problem, or the captcha. But so far, I don't have a problem with the mixer as long as I use it. I am not a big fan of TOR as I cannot use a fast internet connection. TOR slows it down further, so I am unsure if it's the same with the TOR. But I just tried the clearnet domain, which is [banned mixer], and everything is so smooth. I tried creating an order, but it did not ask for a captcha verification. So, either it's only for TOR or random for every user. I remember when I used a VPN, even Google asked me to verify the re-captcha to show the search results. I don't know the exact reason, but as they say, Your computer sends too many requests or something. I guess most people who understand the need for freedom will choose the 2nd option. If I have no freedom with my money, it's not really my money. Getting hacked is much easier nowadays if you are just an average Joe. If you visit a random website and click on random links that you never know if it contains trojan, getting hacked is easier for you. Sometimes, common sense helps as well. You have to use your brain to understand what are you trying to do and why are you doing it. People get hacked in multiple ways. Phishing is one of them, and I consider people the dumbest people who fall for phishing. Hackers offer some extra features or bonuses to use some specific wallet or software. People download them without verifying them and then they lose their money. If you like to hold your Bitcoins, why use a regular device to store it? Get an hardware wallet and never fall for phishing. Do not store your seed phrase online and you are good to go. |
