1201  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: June 30, 2023, 07:50:17 AM
Before 6 month I invest 462500 satoshi in fun token and today worth 166500 satoshi , not bad investment  Cheesy , token are locked 2 more month. Till now it will probably worth 50 000 satoshi  Grin. Another word I lose all I invest.

Don't look it that way and what you can do is to add another 462500 satoshi if you have the possibility to do so because now that can buy you twice or more the amount that the first 462500 satoshi did.Do not despair as we are all waiting for the next bull run here which most likely if history repeat itself it will be in late 2025,most likely Q4 (we all hope to see it since 2024 it would not be that bad either) and so when that time comes and you have even locked the FUN you will get a bigger number of FUN which I predict it will be at least 100 satoshi each so you and most of us will profit in a real substantial way,so let's wait to see and we will all be happy then,so let's forget what happen with FUN until that time as the best thing to do.

Well, 100 sats would be a great price... and it's possible, but I guess we need to be very patient, this and maybe next year. That gives us a lot of time to add more if we believe in the future of FUN.

In the end, Swogerino is right, there's no need for despair... FUN is not the only token that lost a lot of value in the past months, things don't look good for sure, but it's the bearish period and it's the time for holding and accumulating if it's possible.
1202  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: June 29, 2023, 05:59:27 PM
Money has been laundered through casinos since there have been casinos... probably not through every casino, there are always exceptions, but I think it's something that has been done for a long time. When I first heard about some major money laundering in EU casinos by Serbians who did illegal stuff there, it was about roulette, a couple of guys play roulette and mostly bet on red or black. If they lose some money, it's the commission, which is always paid, one way or another.

It's a loophole, but I will go with Yahoo on this... 1x is pretty easy to wager, and there are better ways to catch money launderers than this wagering requirements, it's more about casinos making people wagering.
1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Experienced Winning Bets By Upsets on: June 29, 2023, 10:49:42 AM
Not a lot.

Those are like yolo bets with my last money on some unknown tennis game. I don't bet usually on tennis but it's like a random roulette on which sport I'll bet and I don't even know the player.

It's certainly a yolo bet. It's not also a big money but it was a good experience and that's really possible for someone but I just got lucky that the feeling of winning was felt.

It's the same with me, not a lot... I like your words "Those are like yolo bets with last money", I will try to remember this one. I do that with football, I put the last money on one game or more (depending on the offer at that moment), or I buy some bonus round on some slot with the buy bonus feature. And I had some good hits, I recovered what I lost with a little profit, but that happens maybe once in 10 times, more or less.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ? on: June 29, 2023, 04:53:23 AM
You can go into the official website of the project then checked all of the member of the TEAM.
If they don't put the face of the member of TEAM i can guarantee it almost scam project.

It's even funnier when they put pictures of cartoon characters... it screams "scam" right from the start!

Some specific signs that newbies can spot in scam projects early are:

Unrealistic promises of high returns or guaranteed profits
Lack of transparency or verifiable information about the team, the technology, or the roadmap
Fake endorsements from celebrities, influencers, or reputable organizations
High pressure tactics to invest quickly or miss out on a limited opportunity
Poor grammar, spelling, or design on the website, whitepaper, or social media posts

Nice comment... if we notice anything from what you wrote it should trigger the alarm in our head. Most of the scams have unrealistic promises, we can never forget the old one "If it’s too good to be true it probably is”.

So the best tip for new investors is to check everything, literally everything... starting from grammar, website design, WP, roadmap, etc. And if anything raises any suspicion, just turn around and walk away.
1205  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ THE ULTIMATE BITCOIN CASINO GUIDE ⭐ CRYPTO AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR 🏆 on: June 28, 2023, 06:49:38 PM
~snip~
I hope efialtis won't change the time span of the giveaway. I don't have too much entries for the giveaway, but I believe that some other GOSU users have generated a lot of entries by making deposits. Anyway, I'm curious about one thing now. The crypto market is volatile. Which price 'efialtis' will consider while he will convert our deposited amount in Euro for counting the number of entries?

The price of different coins have increased 15-20% since the start of this month. One of my BTC deposit was equivalent €58 when I made it, which is equivalent to €68 now.

One or two ticks more or less, does it really matter? Cheesy

I don't have many tickets either, I busted all of my deposits playing slots... not even one withdrawal and re-entry after that, which sucks. I guess that Wolf was hungry! Smiley

But I hope for some prize with the tickets I have... we all know that raffles are all about luck, people win even with a few tickets.

Good luck Mahdirakib! I would really like to see us Gosu forum members in the first 4 places... Smiley
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: June 28, 2023, 03:08:03 PM
I am not sure why the “Six Samurai" group is wasting time on this, why would anyone waste time on rebranding one big scam project? That sounds ridiculous. Except if they are working on some quick scam, that would make sense. Because Terra Luna Classic's fate is sealed, so what this group of programmers is doing is a bit confusing.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: June 28, 2023, 11:58:41 AM
This poll is purely for fun, I would like to hear your opinion on the best gambling games out there, and I wonder which games are the most popular in our community. I am sure there are numerous less-known gambling games played around the world,  so if you choose "Other," please specify the game in the comments section below, and I will add it to the poll.

Let's vote and see which games we find most exciting, entertaining, or rewarding. Smiley
1208  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💸FLIP.casino - ONLINE CRYPTO GAMBLING 💸 $2.00 SIGN UP BONUS 💸 on: June 28, 2023, 07:08:13 AM
We will consider getting copper membership after we get more qualified members from these forums, we haven't had any real players submit feedback.
It takes time for the real players to trust a new casino with real money, mate. You just have to do your best in terms of promotions and good customer support in order to attract the players

And the competition is fierce! There are many good casinos around. I guess that the FLIP team will have to give more than their best if they wish to attract people... With this simple first post and after checking the Flip casino I can't say I am attracted.

We have had spam accounts register and try to abuse the promo bonus so now email verification is now enforced.
Abusers are always lurking around, especially if the casino has lax promo bonus terms. I don't think email verification will help that much. An abuser can easily own 50 or 100 email accounts and will be able to verify the email addresses. I think you need to enforce something much more strict that will deter spam account registration.

Log is right, only email verification won't help much! We have seen it too many times...

1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your rate in betting base on odds alone? on: June 27, 2023, 08:10:10 PM
I don't think it's smart to place bets based on odds alone... odds can deceive us! My betting on sports is colorful... I have many won & lost parlays and single bets. I also prefer betting on football (soccer), it's what I follow, simply it's the sport of my choice. But even with some knowledge and experience, it's hard to maintain a winning streak! So after a few good bets and wins I usually get into a red streak...

I think it's possible to make some profit with sports betting, at least for people with patience and some plan (which I don't have, but that's another story) it's possible to make some profit in the long run. Choosing the games and making breaks between bets can be a very smart move, who can do it.

In the end, if you don't try it you will not know if that works for you or not! So give it a go!
1211  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet999.io on: June 27, 2023, 05:44:04 PM
Any experiences playing at Bet999 from somebody please?

I made a deposit long time ago to test but I have to say that it was not a good experience due to their wallet conversion system as I have posted previously in this thread (page 2).
I almost forget about this site if you did not bump this thread, I'm not sure if this site is doing good so far but looking at the fact that there is no one complaining in this thread then I guess they are good enough.
The OP  is not even making more post after creating this ANN thread, but his last online was on April so I guess he is still monitoring this forum but not regularly.
Are you interested to play here?

The same UI as some other casinos. Wink

The site generally looks good, they have their own token which is interesting. But this "flexible savings" is something I see for the first time... 10% APY for all top coins?! Smiley

I saw your issue on the second page, I think it's nothing serious... I am not sure if I will give it a try, I prefer when there are some forum representatives here.
1212  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: June 27, 2023, 11:54:59 AM
...
Government is a complex system and many of us don't seem to appreciate what they get from it until it's taken away.

I guess that a "good" country has a government that provides more to its citizens than it takes from them. But unfortunately, this is not the case in many countries... I think we can say that even in some good countries situation now looks a lot different than before with so many immigrants from all countries. This is an interesting article: https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/11/17/even-sweden-doesnt-want-migrants-anymore-syria-iraq-belarus/

But we can't forget that even many of those "good" and developed countries made their economy by exploiting everything and anything, mostly in the third world countries and people who live there... they still do it. So this kind of economy we have now (and for centuries) should end... I am optimistic about that end! Simply if we wish to see a better world (not just some countries and cities with "privileges") for all the people (not just for the "elite") we need to see some big changes. And that will happen eventually, I can only hope that I will be alive to see that.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top Five Reasons Sports Bettors Are Attracted to eSports on: June 27, 2023, 07:25:53 AM
I wouldn't say that sports bettors are attracted to eSports, only the ones who are familiar with e-sports... actively playing some game, or have contacts with someone who does.

I have been following a bit of EBL (ESports Balkan League) LoL matches for a while because I love the game, but I can't say I placed a lot of bets. It's tricky to bet without proper knowledge about the teams and players... I missed the winter season completely due to zillion obligations, but the summer part starts in 10 days, so maybe I will get more into it if I find some time for watching.
1214  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: June 26, 2023, 03:44:07 PM
edit: Ahh... Turns out this site is banned in my country. i have to use vpn. OK, I'll try another time

If it is banned in your jurisdiction, do not use a VPN to log in BC.game or any other casinos, exchanges and services that would require their customers to undergo KYC in the future when it is time to withdraw your funds.

We do not want another person going to this thread and post how he was scammed by the site. Also, everyone should always read the site's terms before making a deposit. There were Celsius depositors that have learned this lesson.

I just browsed a bit and found some topics on the bc.game forum where they state they allow vpn (https://forum.bc.game/topic/10137-the-solution-on-the-issue-with-bc-being-blocked-in-some-contries/).
No moderator or admin ever replied on it so best would be to go into livechat and ask about it. I use a VPN on one casino because their livechat confirmed that they allow it.

I used a VPN for a while just to be able to play some providers that are not available for me... but that was last year, I haven't used a VPN for a long time. And I never had some problems because of that, generally, I never had deposit/withdrawal issues at BC.

To use VPN or not to use it will always be a tricky decision to make. With decent deposits/withdrawals and fair play (only slots I can't play otherwise), my experience is fine, I never had any problems. But who knows if everything would be fine in case of hitting some jackpot! Smiley
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 26, 2023, 01:00:23 PM
...

But do you know that if the lottery is not rigged and is transparent, sometimes a person with only one or two tickets can end up winning while the whales who bought a lot of tickets remain empty handed.

The reason for this is only luck. With more tickets you only increase your probability of winning a lottery but there is no condition that if you hold more tickets you will win more. Some people only buy more tickets thinking the one with more tickets will definitely win, but this not the case.

The lottery is all about luck... I think that even with more tickets chances of hitting the jackpot are still slim. I never played state (or any other) lottery, I don't see some entertainment in that, I am more for some other gambling games, more dynamic ones.

I don't like lotteries, at least I don't like to buy tickets. But I like to collect tickets with playing (wagering, depositing...), it's something I find interesting.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 26, 2023, 09:39:52 AM
The differences in gambling between women and men are not solely determined by gender, I guess it's more about individual factors. There are some general differences between women and men, but it all comes down to personal choices, experiences, and motivations that drive all of us in one way or another.

In the end, gambling doesn't make a difference between genders. It doesn't matter whether you are a man or a woman when it comes to gambling. There is just placing bets and waiting for the outcome... in simple words, it doesn't matter who holds the cards, what matter is how someone plays those cards.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on live game or while game hasn't started yet? on: June 26, 2023, 06:22:02 AM
Well, both pre-match and live betting have their advantages. In the case of pre-match betting, we have a chance to carefully analyze both teams and make a prediction based on that research. I like that approach and I enjoy analyzing statistics and trends before I place a bet. On the other hand, live betting offers a more dynamic experience, especially in a game with many goals on both sides (I mostly bet on football, and I make live bets only on football games).

So both are good... sometimes it's good to research games and place a bet, and sometimes it's good to place a bet while you watch a game and you get a "feeling". I am more of a pre-match bettor, I like parlays, but from time to time I place some live bets.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 23, 2023, 07:03:45 PM
Well, it's tricky to deposit in some casinos that have that "optional KYC" if you are not ready to complete it if needed. I am the one who doesn't like KYC, and I will avoid it whenever I can, but in case of some problem with "taking the money out of the casino" I am ready to complete the KYC procedure.

I guess if someone is confident to deposit and play in some casino should be comfortable with the KYC system as well. Especially if some higher amounts are in question... you trust them with your money why shouldn't you trust them with some additional info?

there is a lot of debate regarding KYC in online casinos. Using KYC as one of the conditions for withdrawing a certain amount also has the aim of identifying users so that they are not used as places for money laundering. The pros and cons of KYC in online casinos have been around for a long time. But if you really don't agree, you can look for online casinos without KYC.
I only do gambling as entertainment and do not use large funds. Then there's nothing for me to deposit, just a small fund won't go over the limit that requires depositing KYC.

It's not about debate! Casinos have that in their ToS. It's their rule... at least in all casinos I play, that have slots, sportsbooks, and in-house games. And I am the one who plays in many casinos without KYC (with numerous deposits/withdrawals), at least for now. I guess I am a fair player, or maybe GOSU, so they don't ask much! Smiley

Anyway, if casinos have "optional KYC" (and most of them have that), we should be ready for KYC at some moment. If we are not ready for that KYC then we shouldn't even think about depositing there in the first place.
