1201  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BKEX DISABLED ALL OF THE WITHDRAWAL on: May 29, 2023, 10:28:18 PM
BKEX currently is rank 15 on CMC, they have millions of visitors eveyday, Guys Please report this scam to CoinMarketCap so they remove this scam, Please report right now.
I had no idea there are 632 exchanges listed on CMC. That's a very large number. In the mind I only hand a few such as Binance, Coinbase, Kucoin, Kraken, Coinbase, Bitfinex and some few others but 632 was unexpected. I wonder how many of them are legit?

If bkex disabled withdrawal and kept the deposit enabled also telling they were involved in money laundering then it's a huge red flag.

https://support.coinmarketcap.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000562051
The above link is a good start to report the exchange.
1202  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 29, 2023, 10:00:20 PM
Mehdi is confident of his fate though and most peobably if he even get caught he will also accept whatever sentence given.
The name Mehdi does not sound Russain. It's more like a Pakistani name or middle eastern name.

If criminal activity as taken place on an industrial scale and almost zero protocols were put in place to either reduce, minimise or eliminate the risk of illegal activity by the owner/operator they will end up facing serious criminal charges.
If you believe so then I highly recommend you to stop promoting a mixer, even leave the bitcoin forum and live a life where you don't need to touch crypto. You are in Bitcoin and to the law enforcement, Bitcoin is somehow illegal or fair to say they are trying everything to label Bitcoin as illegal asset. Why are you risking your life?
1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a Gambler and a Die-Hard Fan of a Club Would you Bet Against your Club on: May 29, 2023, 06:28:57 PM
We are fans of different football clubs, and whenever there is football banter, we never fail to take sides with our respective clubs. We stand by them no matter what because that's what being a fan of a football club is all about - unwavering loyalty. However, not all of our favorite clubs perform well.
I am a Liverpool fan and no matter how they perform I am always with my club that's as a fan. When I am gambling then obviously my favourit team always get the benefit of the doubt but when it's obvious that my team is not in good shape and going to lose the match, I don't bet for them. I have gone against Liverpool many times even on the EPL pool.

Bet with your head, not your heart.
It does not always work for me and I tend to lose my bets all the time LOL
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk IPL Prediction Pool & Discussion 2023 on: May 29, 2023, 06:22:47 PM
Who is waiting to watch the final show?
The revised target 171 from 15 overs for CSK.
It's the first time IPL had a two days match, first day washed away by rain and second day they have curtail overs.

GT needs wicket.
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 29, 2023, 01:56:28 PM
According to this post, there are actually 18 prize spots, so I actually won something, my fee back!!

Could I suggest updating OP for future seasons Wink

We've got 58 people signed up now. Updated the payouts:

1 0.1
2 0.05
3 0.04
4 0.03
5 0.02
6 0.015
7 0.014
8 0.013
9 0.012
10 0.011
11 0.01
12 0.005
13 0.005
14 0.005
15 0.005
16 0.0025
17 0.0025
18 0.0025

Lets try to get 60 so we can have top 20. A couple of people have said they will pay so we should hit that. Any additional places will now just go towards a prize for the highest overall yellow cap (the highest weekly round score for those who haven't played before).

You have older update. This is what I found and it seems it's the latest.

Bump. Still time to join but will not accept new users after this month ends. Just make sure your picks are in on Superbru and you can join up until the end of the month.

Still time to join:

If anyone wants to play there's still time. If you have your scores in on Superbru they will carry over to the pool once you join, but if you haven't Superbru gives a certain number of 'default' picks for those who miss games. Currently you will have 5 points automatically which doesn't seem like a lot but it's only three less than what I got this round  Grin.

Here are the final payouts:

1 0.1 (£1910)
2 0.05 (£955)
3 0.04 (£764)
4 0.03 (£572)
5 0.02 (£381)
6 0.015 (£286)
7 0.014 (£267)
8 0.013 (£248)
9 0.012 (£229)
10 0.011 (£210)
11 0.01 (£190)
12 0.005 (£95)
13 0.005
14 0.005
15 0.005
16 0.0025 (£47)
17 0.0025
18 0.0025
19 0.0025
20 0.0025

Any additional money will go to the highest overall weekly scorer at the end of the season so there's still something to play for right till the end.

@hilariousandco, may be we can update first post of this thread every year with the prize details.
1206  Other / Meta / Re: DdmrDdmr is surprising for meriting posts on: May 29, 2023, 01:46:47 PM
The day you want to run the bot, copy and paste all the links from the txt file and run the script. Why it's so complected to understand 😉
You're right, the user makes use of a bot to merit posts he likes. However, what's not clear (even to me) is why he merits all posts the same amount. Does it mean all the posts DdmrDdmr comes across and wants to merit are of the same quality as the user only splashes just a single merit on them. I think it's not a good way to merit posts. They should set different meriting threshold for posts. There are posts that deserve more than a single merit. That's what I'm saying.
I don't think any of us should judge what he does and why he does. DdmrDdmr is a member who proved his value in the community. It could be just a fun for him to distribute merits to forum users. We all are different, see things differently but one thing is common to all of us which is we are here for Bitcoin, we love bitcoin.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 28, 2023, 07:16:41 PM
Congrats to all 22 prize spot winners!
22 prize spot? I thought it's 20.

I have placed 12th. Very happy as in the middle I was not even in the top 30. Brentford fought well. I was not too brave to go for Brentford to win but I had the feeling that they will have a good match hence I went for a 1 - 1 draw for them.

Congratulations everyone who were able to win something especially the top guy who won a massive 0.1 BTC! It's was a good investment of only 0.0025 BTC.

hilariousandco, I know you will need the winners btc address, here is mine: bc1ql847ly3a0kaw6zhscc686a3lv7ve98qgay8422

Looking forward to the next season. All eyes are on the CL pool now.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 28, 2023, 03:18:04 PM
Final day of the season, mitchr4 has a 2 point lead over darbit in the race for 1st place.
I am not even looking at who is at the top. Good luck to you all. My only focus is on CL final match LOL

The title is decided, as are the CL spots & the EL places. It’s Aston Villa or Spurs for the Conference League.
We may see some drama for the 7th position too. I don't think Villa, Tottenham and Brentford is going to give it away easily especially if Villa slip then a good chance for Tottenham and if Villa and Tottenham both slips then Brentford can take the place.

1209  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Importing seed into Electrum, no funds? on: May 28, 2023, 03:09:27 PM
I generated the seed phrase around April 2021 using a Ledger Nano S that I still have access to, both mnemonic and PIN code.

If it was generated from Ledger then they do have their own tool to scan your wallet with balance. It will help you find the right derivation path of your wallet.

Check the tool here https://github.com/LedgerHQ/xpub-scan

Instead of using the BTCrecover use their xPub Scanner you should find the right path and wallet address that you funded before.
This reminds me another option. Assuming it was created with 24 word seed.

In the process of restoring the wallet with Electrum, after entering first 12 words, click option and then check extended seed then select BIP39 seed.

It will restore the same wallet that was generated using Ledger Nano S.

But I doubt it's the case with OP as he already said the Nano S does not create account automatically when using Ledger Live.
1210  Other / Meta / Re: DdmrDdmr is surprising for meriting posts on: May 28, 2023, 12:46:32 PM
Man, the answer is quoted by YOSHIE on how DdmrDdmr merited many posts.

@DdmrDdmr, has talked and told a lot in his own thread, entitled: 1221 posts merited (by me) in just under 21 minutes–What's got over me? (v 36.0).

Yet many people don't even read it LOL

True, but he use bot, that should be complicated than manual, because he must know the quality post
Do your regular things as you do always. When you see a post merit worthy, you save the link to a txt file. Keep doing it for many weeks until the day you decide to merit all. By then you will have a long list of links on the txt file.

The day you want to run the bot, copy and paste all the links from the txt file and run the script. Why it's so complected to understand 😉
1211  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Importing seed into Electrum, no funds? on: May 28, 2023, 12:36:11 PM
I am losing myself when reading different response and your posts. Let us summarize what you have done so far.

[1.] You tried all three derivation patch [p2pkh, p2wkph-p2sh and p2wpkh] to check all three address format 1xxxxxxxxxxxx, bc1xxxxxxxx, 3xxxxxxxxxxxx
[2.] You tried it with Ledger live to see if they bring automatically the funded wallet.

If you already used all options then the only possibility is you are doing something wrong when entering your seed.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 28, 2023, 12:15:09 PM
I am sure that you will get the Everton bet correctly as they need more than any other team to win this game to get out of relegation zone and be save for another season,I think Bournemouth plays for absolutely nothing and as such you will most likely win this bet.
Win is necessary for Everton but the same is true for Leicester and Leeds. Leicester against West Ham, I don't think West Ham has anything to gain from this match but it's important for Leicester to get out from relegation. Leeds needs the same too but Tottenham will hope a win to have the 7th place. Whatever outcome we will have, I think Everton vs Bournemouth, Leicester vs West Ham and Leeds vs Tottenham will be some interesting matches. Everton, Leicester and Leeds have reasons to secure their PL journey for the next season.

On the other hand Villa vs Brighton, Brentford vs City and Leeds vs Tottenham match is to race for 7th place for Villa, Tottenham and Brentford. These five matches can have any results.
1213  Economy / Gambling / Re: MEGA:PARI | Gambling&Betting | PLENTY OF BONUSES INSIDE 💸💸💸 on: May 27, 2023, 05:36:12 PM
@Team_Megapari, What is the bonus that @Bitcoingirl use that is exclusive for Bitcointalk member? I’m about to schedule another casino session this weekends and it will be good to try again your platform with a decent bonus offered exclusive for Bitcointalk user.

The last time I play in the casino was I only received aviator free bets which I really don’t like because the game is not my type. Not only the game is hard for but there’s also a wagering requirements on the aviator game rewards which gives a double task just to earn the bonus amount. If possible. Slot free spin or Sportsbook freebet is the best reward since this is what gamblers play the most.

You can PM me the bonus details. Thank you.
Hey. Happy to see you in our thread again. @Bitcoingirl probably means the 100% welcome deposit for sports.
It was 100% deposit bonus from your registration page, one of the option from that three options you have. I was considering to get the largest one as it was like maximum $200 so thought to deposit $200 without knowing that I have to go through giving information including verifying the phone number.

As I suggested earlier [or on the PM I believe], if you really want to attract people from this community then you need to give these people more flexibility, give them have their right to stay anonymous, you will see you will be able to create a good fan base for the gambling brand.
1214  Other / Meta / Re: How are the rules on "link dumps"? Should this be forbidden? on: May 27, 2023, 05:28:53 PM
This guy is clearly looking for Merit with his shitposts.
I doubt.
[1.] He is looking to increase his activities
[2.] Is trying to get some backlinks.

Both from above or one of the above is true I guess.

On the other hand, haven't we seen some great forum members used to do even worse? Copied none English articles, translated it and posting without any reference link, telling it's in their opinion or translating an English article from internet and posting it on their local boards without giving any link at all? If they can become celebrity then why can't these newbies try the footprint. Although I doubt the same in the case of this spammer Basiyu.

Let's not restrict the newbies too much. They already have many restrictions. It's better to report if something looks odd.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What is difference between sats/byte and sats/vbyte and weight. on: May 27, 2023, 05:15:50 PM
Some outdated wallets and block explorers still use sats/byte, despite this figure not being accurate since segwit was activated nearly 6 years ago. I would avoid such services.
Not to sure what to tell but Electrum [even latest version] is still using bytes

This is the only wallet software I am using.

The people who don't have much technical idea including me, they see bytes on Electrum but then see vbyte on block-explorer like blockchair and become confused.

Quote from his reply on march 6, 2019
Quote
257 sMerits in 140 minutes.
I rushed it a bit more between 14:28 ..15:30 UTC really: 250 awarded sMerits in those 62 minutes. I really wanted to empty my personal sMerit bag that day in a though out manner.
I had a few tricks up my sleeve to be pretty swift at the task, being one of the primal ones to put household inhabitants on ignore during that timeframe.

If you check @DdmrDdmr profile carefully, his a normal guy who is just too good at his job as a merit source. I don't think he uses any bot or something. Yes he might have a good operating system with fast and swift response to help him move around the forum very quickly. And then he also said that during this period of meritting, he locks him self away from the outside world so as to focus more. I really appreciate his good works and contributions to the community. We need more person like him here on Bitcointalk.
Collect the posts you want to merit.
Write a script to merit to the posts and define how many merits to send in specific posts. Same to all or random given numbers in an array for each posts?
Run the script.

May be few things need to keep in mind like time delay and things to avoid IP banning.

A good example is few weeks ago TryNinja created a script to update images from imgur to talkimg/imgbb.

Final day of the season tomorrow and I see some very interesting possibilities and I am sure teams are looking forward to it too.

Everything is settled for top 6. The fight for 7th position is interesting.

Villa against Brighton. Brighton will want to end their league with another memorable match. So although a win or draw is not going to change anything for them on the table, they will be looking for a win if not then a draw but it's important for Villa to win the match. A draw or not able to win means they will need to depend on the results from Tottenham and Brentford.

Brendford against City, it may look too hard to win or draw against City but in their home ground they can create an upset, City is not going to take this match seriously.

Tottenham against Leeds, it looks the odds for Tottenham to win the match is high.

Conclusion, we are going to have an interesting contest for 7th position.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk IPL Prediction Pool & Discussion 2023 on: May 27, 2023, 04:16:40 PM
Was really impressed with Mumbai's performance against LSG that I picked MI despite knowing GT is better overall team. Anyway, results are obvious now, Alone055 will take the crown.
The difference between MI and GT was GT's opener Gill. This young man is too good. Fearless, quick decision maker, hungry for run separated him from everyone else. Two consecutive centuries then one 40+ innings and then again another century, he is showing his class. I don't know if he is in India's T20 squad but if he is not then he is becoming headache for existing openers for India's T20 squad.

Tomorrow my horse is GT again.

ChartBuddy is a bot, different than you though 😉
philipma1957 is a monster, I should avoid him by any cost LOL
