Hey guys, why do they say they are swapping 'flawed' tokens with new ones ?
1) What is the flaw ?
2) What happens if I do not swap ?
1) Flaw is contract creator can create as many coins he want from thin air and dump on market 2) If you dont swap your tokens will be useless , because they will delist eBTC v1 from markets and add eBTC version 2 to markets Hope that helps |

I bought 2000 of these when they were .67  Instead of selling out of fear I have been buying as it has been dropping. I have about 18K of these coins. and have bought at .17 , .20, .27 , .35. I dont know exactly but I believe the average is about .25-.30 range. At this point I have no choice but to HODL. I drank the coolaid. Hope it doesnt come back to bite me. I can sit on them atleast. If price pumps enough I might sell enough to break even and let the rest ride. Ask yourself why did you buy it ? |

I am a software developer and when I had a look at the sourcecode of eBTCE I was sure that the dev can airdrop eBTCE forever. But since I had no experience with coding Ether contracts I created a token with the sourcecode of eBTCE, just to be sure I didn't miss something and to proof that it's really a scam. I took the sourcecode of eBTCE from here: https://etherscan.io/address/0x2fd41f516fac94ed08e156f489f56ca3a80b04d0#codeI changed the total supply to 10000 tokens and implemented a counter (the "distributed" variable, line 44 in the sourcecode) of the total airdropped tokens. I then compiled and deployed this contract to the "ropsten" testnet and airdropped 5 times 2457 coins to a random address in the testnet. The total supply sould be: 10000.00000000 coins I airdropped 5x2457.19916000 distributed variable shows correct value: 5x2457.19916000=12285.99580000 The problem is, 12285.99580000 is bigger than the total supply of 10000.00000000...
