a question, on wich exchange the ico will be trading?
We will inform the exchanges about Komodo, but no specific deals will be made. Thus we cannot promise if/when KMD will be traded. The ICO itself will happen through our own ICO site, which can be accessed through our homepage on October 15th (when the timer runs out).

whether it is in the plan any social marketing bounty program? thanks
No, only the signature campaign, but the payrate is also low, jl777 has raised many thousands of bitcoin from previous many ico, so he is still greedy and mean, what a shame. ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) For investors it should be a good sign, as we want to use the funds conservatively and not just throw away money just because we have it. Our team decided that a social media campaign is not an effective way to use the funds, and jl777 had nothing to do with that decision. Our team is quite decentralized/horizontal, where the areas of responsibility are divided for multiple people and teams. jl777 is responsible for the development decisions and the overall roadmap, but not about the Komodo ICO campaign, websites, GUIs, etc. Best regards,

What this mean? Node for Komodo is same with Bitcoindark? Sorry I am confused by this ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) It's just for those who want to send their BTCD's to a local wallet. If you have no BTCD then you can ignore this ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) As you know, Komodo came from BTCD, and thus BTCD can be later swapped for KMD.

Do you also have a social media campaign? I have more than 500 followers in Twitter and almost 5k friends in Facebook and my Facebook account is a member of almost 20 Bitcoin related groups with members more 15k.
Unfortunately no, we don't have any social media bounties/campaigns.

hi, can i sent btc to kmd ico with bittrex wallet?
or
must i have private keys ?
is there any ico.komodoplatform.com login dashboard? cya
Yes, there will be an easy login page and a BTC deposit address, so you could send them from an exchange as well. I wonder why the team link on homepage shows nickname only. Can the team explain this to me ? Thank you.
Here's what we had to say in one of our Steemit posts: We are aware of that. However because part of our team is anonymous - including our lead developer - we all decided to not use full names & photos.
Knowing the identity of the developers doesn't guarantee success. What we believe to be important is the track record behind a name (real or pseudonym). In our case jl777 has over the years demonstrated his capability and determination to carry on with his projects and plans. The roadmap might have changed, but the overall long term goal has been the same. He has not abandoned his projects and has stayed responsible to his past investors.
Like previously explained, SuperNET has successfully developed a multiwallet and MultiGateway on top of the NXT platform. The NXT and SuperNET communities have used those service for 1-2 year and trust in its authenticity. Projects and cases like this should convince people about jl777's credibility more than an official passport picture ever could.
On top of these the SuperNET has a lot of open source code behind it, that anyone can inspect. jl777 has already began the Komodo development process, and we encourage everyone to follow it and ask any questions that comes to mind!
Open Source code in GitHub:
Iguana - github.com/jl777/SuperNET
Komodo - github.com/jl777/komodo
This issue obviously raises questions and can hurt our trustworthiness, so to combat that we try to keep our records and development as transparent as possible. Here are links to jl777's development updates about Komodo (thus far): Komodo Testnet LaunchBasilisk mode in testingIguana syncs with Zcash testnet and Komodo testnet Bitcoin backstop protection on KomodoIguana%E2%80%99s relationship with KomodoNotary network and BasiliskNotary nodes and notarization protectionProgress through bugfixingNode Network and the Notary Node Election ProblemAtomic Cross Chain SwapsWho Created the Komodo Block? Komodo%E2%80%99s capacity for transparent and private transactionsNotary mining wars – and how to avoid themAssetchain Alpha ReleasedPoW Notary Node Debugging Notarized Data is Written to BTC BlockchainThe dPoW Development To Do ListAlso like stated in the quote above all of the code is open source and available from github. The team and jl777 has a long history already, and all the coding has been done over a few years. Shouldn't this be a clear indicator that the lead developer wants to develop good code and not just run away? He has for two years, and still is, working extremely long days to deliver his vision. To document the progress we have made a whole annual report about the last year (2015), see here: http://www.digitalcatallaxy.com/report2015.htmlAll in all, the Komodo's development has already begun. People are testing the dPoW notarization on a Komodo testnet, check SuperNET Slack channel #notarynode. Furthermore, the Iguana development (which Komodo partly needs) started about a year ago. What I'm trying to say is that Komodo has already partly delivered the technology even before the ICO has started. We are about to update the team introduction section with longer descriptions about our members. We try to get it done today, at least for some of us.

Is Iguana still on schedule to release before ICO starts?
This was asked a day or two ago from the GUI team and they said to be working really hard to achieve that.

I posted an introduction to Supernet. People that are new to Komodo please note: you're not investing just in Komodo but in something that's part of a larger project! @KomodoPlatform: please reuse it in full or in part as you wish. Very good info! Well done ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ICO soon? I can't wait. I prepare my bitcoin for the future project.

Komodo Calculator
We have created a spread sheet where you can calculate different scenarios about how much KMD one bitcoin would buy or how much you would receive in a BTCD swap. The numbers in the spread sheet right now are just random guesses, as there is no way to know how much investments we will get. We have hosted the file in google drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4OjEvUQ6a-feHBqS1BhX3ZzczQDownload the file into your own computer! Editing online is not possible.

@KomodoPlatform Since it has become a little complicated, it could be useful to have an online calculator that says how many KMD you get if the Ico will meet such and such conditions and if you're either a Bitcoin investor or a Bitcoindark swapper. I think it would also help marketing Indeed! We have one. We will publish it today. hi everyone, this is steemychicken1 from steemit, just visited the thread and started reading.. got me really interested... so i am all in Welcome!

sorry for a silly question - how will be made payments for signature campaign? Do I need to send a BTC address somewhere?
I think all of the participant will be requested the btc address for payment when the campaign is on final date or at the end of the campaign. That is correct! hey komodoplatform i just become full member, weared avatar and changed signature. i wanted to let you know.please change my details ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) thanks. My status has changed. Now is Sr. Member. Signature updated. How to report admins?
Fill out the rank change formThen we will have your updated info, but the spread sheet won't be updated until the very end of the campaign. I just checked te campaign spreadsheet and noticed that most of the participants in the 250 list are not even actively participating the campaign. Their names are written in the spreadseet but most of them has a not eligible for payment status because of rejected signature. Are those slots will be filled with new participants?
We have accepted 245 participants and when we checked they did wear the signature. There are 45 who were rejected. I'm not sure what it is you meant :S

Every mining rig or coin staking (in PoS) received money. In a similar fashion a notary node received KMD from each block generated. I doubt there would be any more regulatory roadblocks as there would when running an ordinary mining operation, but I'm not a lawyer either. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

The stakeholders are going to vote for the Notary, but how is it's going to take place and when?
The current plan for the first election is that the voting would happen when people redeem their KMD, or some short of other temporary procedure. For the later elections we must develop a better system, and about that we currently have no info. jl777 is thinking the best way to implement it. For the first election it is possible that we don't even get 64 candidates, so there's a change there won't really be any meaningful elections. We will see. Hopefully a way can be found to let BTCD holders still vote even if they keep staking and don't redeem before the election. From investment perspective it doesn't matter when you swap. Even if you are staking more BTCD you will still be receiving the same amount of KMD, as the BTCD/KMD exchange rate will decrease at the same rate you could stake your BTCDs. If we would allow people to stake their BTCD for one year and then swap with the original exchange rate we would run out of KMD.
