1201  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: October 04, 2017, 10:36:51 PM
No, unless society is used with cashless/electronic payment method and most people have smart device with internet connection. Also, cryptocurrency is practically useless in poor country.
Digital currencies like Bitcoin and Etherum provide an easy and inexpensive way of transferring money, which can be a replacement to postal companies such as Western Union. They essentially also provide means of detaining money if you aren’t dealing with bank accounts or credit cards, which is frequent in the developing world.
In these countries if people want to send money to their family in the countryside, most of them have to send it in a bag with someone, which isn’t a tenable situation in this era. So cryptocurrencies aren't that "useless" in "poor countries" .

Western union was useful in the past but now with bitcoin, it is ridiculous to think their market model can continue for long, just look at old cameras, before smart phones they were everywhere and after the introduction of smart phones only professional photographers use them.
1202  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: October 04, 2017, 10:32:12 PM
I think you should invest your Bitcoin in some upcoming ICO which you believe has some potential and can grow in future. SNAPUP is one of such projects which I believe can grow in future.
If I were you guys I wouldn’t even worry myself with all these investments. Am I the only one who notice that most of all these investments online are scammers? Like seriously, when I search on Google, I mostly see fake investment sites. The genuine ones don’t even come up. Even the adverts are all fake.
That is because genuine investments opportunities cannot take thousands of people and their money, they have a limit to how much they can grow in a particular amount of time, so it is no wonder the only ones you see are nothing but scams since they are always willing to take your money.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: October 03, 2017, 11:22:50 PM
Two different news going around.
1. Korean exchanges listing NEO
2. Rumors about China Government working with NEO

The first one in mind can be ignored for now because coinmarketcap.com does not show anything major in korean exchanges

The second one is worth taking in consideration but i wont go crazy on these news , I sense resistance in  30$ region

I plan on selling a couple on 30 and buying back when it drops back down a little

Be careful, you never know when NEO is gonna just explode, it seems like the type of coin that jumps up 400% overnight when they post crazy news.

I sold a couple of them with a very nice profit and invested a ton in Sonm. NEO already made me good money but I can see Sonm getting a x10 faster right now than NEO, Sonm only needs to go to 0.9$, or 90% of its ATH, NEO needs 300$ or 600% of its ATH
Just be careful SONM is that cheap for a reason, there were many issues with the developers and people stopped believing in the project and some think the project could be abandoned, do not get me wrong, the price is very attractive and you could make a lot of money but it is risky.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: October 03, 2017, 11:19:36 PM
gold is not old gold which is backed physically. it is totally empty under it, thanks to the corrupted world cheating us. bitcoin is way better.
I suppose you are talking abut ETF or paper gold right? If that is the case you are right, that is not real gold, if such a market did not exist gold will be worth 20k to 30k which show to us how much bitcoin still needs to grow to compare itself against the market of gold and precious metals.
1205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2017, 11:17:19 PM
I think the biggest problem its not the bitcoin code, the biggest problem in this moment its the difficult to buy bitcoin from a safe exchange, the technical knowledge needed to set up a wallet, and the difficult to use a digital currency in the physical world.
Yes of course decentralized bitcoin is the biggest disadvantage .Apart from it many people still do not believe in bitcoin, because it is a virtual currency, I mean a crypto digital currency and has no physical structure. So peoplecannot see the volume of bitcoin.

That’s why people do not believe in bitcoin. The other disadvantage is that bitcoin is in today’s era is just an imaginary coin.
It is weird but I find this a lot, some people think that bitcoin is like the currencies that you get in those RPG games and treat it as if it is not real when in fact most of the transactions around the world are digital like, bank transfers, paypal, paying bills from your phone, credit card purchases and others.

yes thats right they dont see bitcoin as like that they know that it is just as an imaginary some think that this is not real scam or any negative thoughts about bitcoin. You can see the advantage of bitcoin if you believe on it.
It is a shame because most of those people can be really smart but when it comes to the economy as long as they are fine they do not are about anything else, they are completely focused on them and nothing more, that is why I cannot wait for bitcoin to go up in price and show them how mistaken they were.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: October 03, 2017, 11:14:52 PM
Ltc will go up but not this year. dev just comeback so he still need time . 2018 will be the year of eth and ltc
Even with such a huge growth in price coming from bitcoin alts went up a lot more than that, if anything this has been the year of alts, they grew a lot and bitcoin dominance is nowhere as big as before, we do not know what it is going to happen in the next year but I do not think we are going to see anything like what we saw this year.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So low market cap is better for investment? on: October 03, 2017, 11:11:29 PM
Low market cap just means the price is more easily swayed to either direction. For example, imagine if bill gates wants to invest 1 billion in amazon - no one is going to even notice the difference. But if he wants to put 1 billion in Ark, he'd be almost 5x'ing their market cap, everyone would go nuts fomo'ing, the price would skyrocket in a sec, etc.
Correct that means that a lower market cap is not better for investment, it is better for speculation, and in that game you can win or lose big depending on your skills or your luck, there are many people that have lost all their money while others have made a fortune in such coins.
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: October 02, 2017, 10:18:20 PM
if the price of bitcoin is still rising.this is the good way to invest your money in bitcoin.instead put your money in bank.more profit in this bitcoin.

And when the price of bitcoin isn't rising and it keeps on falling that's the best time to invest. You know about trading, you should buy when the price is at dip and you can sell when the price increase. Saving your money in the bank only gives you security but there is no movement and big return in your money there. As you invest in bitcoin, you only need to save it and just wait for the price to pump.
Banks are not a good idea to preserve our money because they are not helping us to make our money grow they are just taking care of our money and using those into their own wants like investing those to make money in the stock market and every year we will just expect a small return which is around 1-3%.
Also by putting your money in banks you are feeding the beast and it is going to become more difficult to destroy it, banks need our money even if they like to pretend they don’t if suddenly all the people in the world stopped using banks those institutions will disappear.

1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AUTHORSHIP IS A FRAUD? (COMPLAINTS) on: October 02, 2017, 10:15:36 PM
I really feel scammed by them. Just because I introduced some Friends of mine to the crypto world and registered from the same pc  (ip) they don 't release the tokens to us.
Where did it state it was illigal to register on the same pc?
We had different e-mail addresses. Used different ether wallets. Its just crazy we didn't get the tokens. Now I hope they fail big time.
Scumbags.
This seems like a bad idea, even if what you said happen as you stated it seems completely normal for someone to be suspicious about that behavior, you cannot do that in casinos or exchanges so it makes sense that you should not be able to do that with bounties.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 02, 2017, 10:12:36 PM
I believe they have. It just might take years to prove their worth. The coins on market cap that are on the top 10 are some that does have a future.
Having a large market cap is not everything, those coins may have the highest chance of survival in the next years but you never know, maybe someone finds a bug in the code and they steal a lot of coins and suddenly the confidence in that coin is shaken forever.
1211  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: October 01, 2017, 08:52:04 PM
Should I stop buying BTC for above market value or should I start paying the listed price? I support Bitcoin and still pay 5k a BTC does anyone see bitcoin going back up?
We are probably not going to see that piece for some time, right now bitcoin is very close to 3700 to me that seems like a good point of entry for anyone that does not have bitcoin, however you need to understand that no one is going to sell you bitcoin for the listed price, every single person is going to charge a percentage over the current price, if you do not like that then yo will need to find the way to earn bitcoin directly.

if we are in doubt of the btc price and it's ability to recover from it's dip, then we should not invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin is too volatile for us. Having it's price now after China banning , if will really goes slow in increasing again
A few days after my comment and bitcoin has gone up and now is trading above 4300, someone that choose that point of entry and bought bitcoin could have earned an easy 600 dollars in a matter of days, which is a lot of money in many countries of the world, which show to us that the most profitable occupation in the bitcoin world is being a trader.
1212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: October 01, 2017, 08:49:20 PM
or may be buy low sell high ?

Lot of noobs traders , don't control their emotions and make worst mistakes : buy at high price and sell at lowest

how to control this ? = put orders (buy/sell) and close the platform
This is a normal trend for those who are scared of missing out on a bullish trend and theyofcourse fluke when they end up buying at the wrong time when everyone is ready to dump. It is always a very risky and craziest thing to do when the market is already moving up and trying to buy to see if you can at least get something out of it. That is exactly what makes some people to compare trading and gambling as same thing.
This is why we should really watch out those movements on where the price have been pumped up.Some of traders do believe that it would soar up even more without noticing or realizing that they are already buying on the peak which would really lead to a loss when the price tends to go down again because buyers would tend to sell out their coins for secure profits.
This is one of the reasons we need to understand the basics of trading even if your intention is not to become a trader, when the price is higher than it should it is very obvious for a trader, but for the average person that does not understand that, they see the price going up for several days and weeks and they think that if they do not buy now they are going to miss the chance of getting profits, and when they finally invest most of the time it is too late already.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: October 01, 2017, 08:46:20 PM
Nope, for me personally who has not been so addicted to gambling has never been visited to place a casinos based of land in my country. Indeed exist the place the land-based casino at where i live, but is still small and still simple, and even i've never visiting it.
I think you're wrong to think that way, going to a gambling place does not mean you've been gambling addicted because there you can find fun, I think people can be addicted to gambling from playing online gambling.

Sometimes when you really want to visit one place that means you are addicted to that place. Without us knowing what happen to us, that means we are already addicted. Sometimes it might be better for us not to go to a land based casino because we could spend more than what we afford. Looking at the others might make us want to bet as well

No, just no. If you always come back to a single land based casino that doesn't always mean you are addicted. That just sometimes mean that you prefer that place over all other places to gamble in. And no again, you can go into land based casinos without over betting outside of your limit. It just really depends on your self discipline. You can well over spend on online casinos just the same!
I also prefer online casinos, since It's quite hard to concentrate on too crowded place. Having your own area or spot at home is more than enough to put some enjoyment in gambling. Though the thrill os mich more in land based casinos. Bit once we lose too much or win a lot in online we for sure will feel our nerves.
The only factor that is enjoyable in casinos is the face to face emotions capturing and mind tracking. I haven’t been to any casino or online but people who gamble often say this. There are pros and cons of both online and land casinos, depends on how you want to enjoy.
There are pros for land based casinos, but there are a lot of cons as well, you need to interact with people that are drunk or under the influence of some substances and most of the time that is not something nice, drinks sometimes are free but most of the time drinks are not free, and now you need to pay for overpriced drinks or food.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: October 01, 2017, 08:43:32 PM
Although I am a noob but i have done my research, I would be buying waves tokens for all the money i had that i intended to put into crypto. Will all the partnerships that are coming in future, this is going to cross 50USD in 8-10 months for sure.
Your prediction is simply too positive waves is a good project but to think it can give you 1000% in profits in just a matter of months is being too naive, you may say that this happened already and I will agree but that only means you are late to the party.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small investors now is your time! on: October 01, 2017, 08:40:26 PM
I believe that right now crypto is still at a young stage. Right now, only about 1/1000 people knew about bitcoin and out of that, only about 1/50 has tried out bitcoin. The total marketcap for crypto now is about 120 billion and using gold as a comparison, you can see that it is still a gap for crypto to grow up to 1.8 trillion dollars. So if crypto is to match with the marketcap of gold, you will understand why some people predict that bitcoin can go as high as 50k usd.
Bitcoin is still in a development stage, it has not reached its definitive form, this is why we see so much action with hard forks and divisions in opinions about the direction bitcoin should follow, but once bitcoin reaches maturity and we know where things are going, I think we are going to see a tremendous growth in a very short time span.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves NG in Oktober - 100 transactions per second on: September 30, 2017, 09:34:02 PM
I just don't understand why some people don't get things right, because it can handle many transactions than bitcoin doesn't mean it is better than BTC and that people will use it.  A very good example is WavesDex nobody is using the platform that was hype to the public and the next best thing

They know that few people are using their platform but have you looked at how nice and easy it actually looks? And have you seen how their future DEX will start to look like?

They got a lot of things right... but they have a poor PR campaign, that is all. And guess what? I like that:) Let it happen naturally.
If waves indeed has a bad PR campaign then I think that is good for us, since that means that waves can be bought for cheap now and for the foreseeable future, I hope to have some spare money the next month in order to get some waves so I hope that is still as cheap as it is right now.
1217  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: September 30, 2017, 09:26:11 PM
u can invest ur bitcoin on cloud mining or gambling bankroll
i think its good investment and more better then HYIP
but high risk is always high return, better choose safe way  Smiley
Cloud mining is a scam and that has been known for a very long time and while investing in a casino bankroll is a good idea it seems some casinos are instead relying in releasing their own tokens that way they get money permanently in exchange of their tokens and the investors can trade those tokens in return.
1218  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: September 30, 2017, 09:18:43 PM
Cryptocurrencies does provides a lot opportunities to multiply our fiat investment, sure regular currencies are required to the daily needs, but crypto does provide the best opportunities for anybody whiling to take the risk. I dont know any fiat investment wich allow me to double my fiat into 1 year or even 2-3 years, crypto is full of those opportunities daily.
I think both have its own value in the world. Because most of the people do not believe in bitcoin as it is a new crypto digital currency and most of the people think that bitcoin is the digital currency of the future and it will overcome all other paper currencies of the world.

It is hard to say which one is better and why and how? because of the different opinion and thoughts of the people.
There are not many advantages that fiat has over bitcoin, the only toe advantages it has are the adoption of the general populations and the fact that payments with cash or debit cards can be very fast, but once  the lightning network gets activated fiat will only have one advantage over bitcoin while bitcoin has many advantages over fiat, that fiat is never going to overcome.
1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: September 29, 2017, 10:20:34 PM
It will hit 100$ at the end of the year. Nothing more, this is just copy of a bitcoin. When bitcoin will get LN, Lite coin will be dumped on the exchanges.
Yep! Most of the altcoins follow footsteps of bitcoins in pumps and dumps. Litecoins are nothing different and I believe they are going to increase in value at the end of November or start of December because then bitcoins will be touching 5k dollars. It is not wrong decision to hold onto litecoins at present.
True but since they follow bitcoin at different speeds you can take an advantage of the movements of the market, right now bitcoin is really expensive, this makes very attractive the option to buy altcoins, that way in the future when altcoins are the ones to pump you can win a small fortune when you buy back your bitcoin.
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: September 29, 2017, 10:16:45 PM
Basically Yes in normal mode but when start WAR III , bitcoin hacked , internet down and electricity cut  you will find gold better than
Bitcoin has not been hacked, but in the case of a war the internet is going to be heavily censored so you can bet that anything that seems suspicious is going to be watched over very closely, however gold has problems too it can be easily counterfeited and confiscated and that is not true for bitcoin.
