Too bad we don't have real world people mentioned in real world press releases like this. It would go a long way to boosting NXT acceptance, adoption, and exchange price. Ricky: It is 37 days since McJavar collected 15k Nxt to the Berlin conf so I was hoping he will organize at least something. He did nothing and decided he probably won't go there, so he is sitting on his 15k now. There will be 4 guys - bitventurer lorrie and me + admiral.fu, but he will also be attending sessions. Other stuff is on nextcoin and in 3 hours I am leaving to Prague so good night now |

So 2 questions.
1) What is the tecnical term for the assets that will be issued on the asset exchange. Specifically what is the technical term for this type of financial instrument? I know they will be a type of security but they are not futures. When the us treasury issued promissory notes redeemable for gold or silver they called them certificates. Is "certificate" the most accurate term? I, with my silver bullion gateway, would be issuing "silver bullion certificates"?
Share? 2) Even if we know what the technical term is than we probably shouldn't call it that. We may solicit unwanted attention from financial regulators. So what are we going to call them?
Asset? no a share entitles you to a portion of the equity in a thing. this is different. this is the title to a thing its self. you are the owner of the silver coin, i am the custodian, and the token is the deed that proves that you are the one that owns it. Ripple calls it IOU, not sure if it makes sense to use the same terminology to reduce general confusion level. By the way, the community has made it loud and clear that it does NOT want my ideas unless I have a totally vetted and complete solution. Since I was posting ideas to help get them vetted and complete, that means I do not see how I can directly help the NXT community at this point. It seems there is no perceived value in coming up with ideas, even ones that allow us to compete effectively with etherium, and no perceived value in being a project manager. I put so much time and effort into NXT, it is disappointing to be rejected like this. How would you feel if your ideas were compared to a Ddos attack and then that was +1 many times?? I know of only the tipbot project and acceptance of NXT on websites project. Unless somebody posts that they are actively working on any of the other bounties, I think that it is best that they all be canceled. Wouldnt want to distract anybody from doing things that are actually important by working on my bounties that everybody feels is worthless. Oh, rickyjames, please pay Zahlen and salsacz 500 NXT. I believe that concludes any current pending NXTcommunityfund business. I have to pay my bills and at this point I have to either work on my ideas by myself since nobody will constructively help me or accept some external projects that I have been offered. If they provide beautiful designs, we should definitely jump on moo only I still am at the Frankfurter Messe, but have had a call from him. We will call when I am back in Amsterdam on wednesday and I will ask him for some quick designs. After that I will meet with his partner and we will work on a complete design that is coordinated in apparel and cards etc. It also means we shouldn't waste much attention on current logos/graphics and only give some bounty for last efforts in this area. But there is still open bounty for good infographics! Some articles are assigned, but anyone can also suggest a new topic! there didn't have to be 71 stakes, 100.000 people in Bitcointalk could send 0.001 Btc during 61 days They could but they didn't as the thread was shoveled under other hundreds shitcoin [ANN] threads.  Who was lucky to find the thread and had balls to send some btc at the right moment has been rewarded the others who were not so lucky or did not had balls to put some btc or have been slow to convert FIAT to btc to buy nxt like myself paid or has to pay higher price. There is nothing we can do about this anymore. The cards have been dealt and the game has started. I don't want to get in a fight with the NXT people, but it's conjecture to assume that the NXT creators would have allowed more than a total investment of 21 BTC. The NXT IPO was halted suddenly 6 weeks before the posted end date and well below the desired number of stakeholders. In my opinion, there's no reason to believe it wouldn't have ended much sooner if there was more interest earlier. For example, if the NXT IPO received 21BTC on the first day why do we think it wouldn't have been shut down immediately? It wasn't about 21 Bitcoins, there was a problem with small amount of new incoming stakeholders and with increasing price for Bitcoin, whose price was tripled by those 61 days since September till November |

Probably not us, but NXT for sure. thank you, so we are looking for developers of "search engine, cloud storage and file sharing?" Well, not exactly sure what you need. Developers for evolving NXT or Developers for developing an app? The latter seems pre-mature because NXT needs another mechanism to handle multiple chains at once. The social part is already in place. At least messaging. Not sure about other activities. But another blockchain and solved. The file storage stuff should be the most interesting part. File sharing is 'just' a matter of access control on top of the file storage. Search engine? Sounds more like an analysis client to me. Could only search for/mine data on the blockchains. Email? Well, as far as the consensus goes, NXT core only reads/adds data from/to the blockchains. Sending emails could be done per pull principle. But don't see, why this needs NXT. In this case, I would rather recommend a more general service that is able to scan the chain and perform several actions if detecting certain patterns.
