12001  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: April 15, 2016, 12:54:39 PM
Bitcointalk is very useful in this regard IMO. Even if you can't find the answer to your specific question here you can ask here where to find it and you will be provided with some useful links.
12002  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin for President of the United States? on: April 15, 2016, 11:14:32 AM
He certainly seems very promising, sort of like an All Hat AND Plenty of Cattle guy. I think he´s a cowboy at heart,

90% of Russians love their leader.
Every single country in the West despises theirs.

Go figure who's the good guy ...

Missing here, a good old cowboy hat ...

99% of North Koreans love their leader even more, but if he will show up in the United States ... well I think it will be a depressing experience for him. )

If seriously, "love" of the brainwashed people doesn't count.
12003  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: April 15, 2016, 11:08:18 AM
For the time being, I will not sell my bitcoins. If the price rises to $1500 or higher, I will sell some to take profit.

That's a nice decision. Unfortunately I can't afford to myself waitng so long (even if it will be just a year or so). But if you can wait then of course wait,  you'll hve bigger profit for sure.
12004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: April 15, 2016, 11:03:37 AM
I think there are a lot of material in this thread for a book with title "Is their any safe methods to gamble?". Really, someone should do this, just publish the damn book. I will not be suing you for using my words and I'm almost sure no one else will. The world needs this book. )
12005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: April 15, 2016, 10:14:33 AM
People are scared of getting into something that is online, people even hesitate in giving their credit card details online so how can we expect that they will start using bitcoin as a currency.

That's a good point. Staying online all time we don't realize that most people live their lives using internet very little or not at all. And we them accept Bitcoin? Of course they won't accept it. I mean right now. But in the future they will.
12006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: April 14, 2016, 04:17:47 PM
Some of them I hold and some I spend when I am in need of any emergency, I know this is not the right time to spend but we earning so that we can spend when we need it.

Exactly! I do the same. I know it's better to hold now but if I need money to buy food ar to pay rent I sell some. I would recommend to anybody without need to not sell their BTC, they will cost much more in the future.
12007  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining Documentary Aired in China on: April 14, 2016, 01:28:36 PM
Do they actually have April Fool's in China? Guess they do judging by that or maybe it was for the westerners.

I think they do. As a wise nation they adopted many things from different cultures West included. I may be wrong of course about adoping April Fool's namely but I think we have  a lot of guys from China here and they will correct me.
12008  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: April 14, 2016, 01:22:20 PM

Hoping to get win a big jackpot is not the way to get rich, it's only about luck. Better you do something good like do a business or get a job and get serious on it.

sure lottery it's just for fun, we must not seriously everyday, we must spend some money just for fun, so we can enjoy our life and we can work with full spirit.

But we hit the jackpot in the lottery then we will have more fun in life thats why people always do lottery so that they can have an easy life.

Indeed, some people are still hoping for that 0.00000000000001 (just exaggerating here Grin) chance to hit the jackpot. Some people hit the jackpot though. It's either they are lucky enough or they were destined to hit the jackpot. Nevertheless, these people who buy lottery tickets in a daily basis should think of how much money they should've saved if they didn't start buying lottery from the start.

I heard that you have more chances to get killed in a car accident while waiting for the lottery results than winning a jackpot so maybe you are not exaggerating. )

And want to say to OP: look closer how rich people live and you will think twice whether to become rich or not.
12009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 14, 2016, 01:17:28 PM
Gambling is not addicting by itself, it's not that you can't gamble just for fun from time to time without becoming addicted. Greed of those who gamble is making it addicting mostly. Do not be greedy and gambling will not be addicting.
12010  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Illegal things to buy!! on: April 14, 2016, 01:12:46 PM
some of these replies actually hurt my eyes... In order to avoid confusion:

- the blockchain = the technology behind bitcoin, recording all transactions in a public ledger
- blochchain.info = a website that offers services based on the blockchain
While the first is merely a piece of technology, the second is a company. The company can possibly do some data mining if they really wanted to.

- when you buy bitcoins, usually your name, address, paypal account, credit card, id,... or other forms of identifying information are needed. If somebody (FBI, interpol,...) wanted, they could easily find out who bought coins and on which address they were stored.
- when you trade your bitcoins for fiat or for physical services, the same information is needed, and the feds can link your identity to your wallet address.
- if somebody is really dedicated, he can follow the trail of the coins, unless you know how to conceil the coin movements (by using mixing services, coinjoin, exchanges,....)
This means that it doesn't matter if you use a VPN, tor or the computer in your public library, if you don't know what you're doing, somebody can follow the full trail of the bitcoins, from the moment they were mined, to the moment you bought them, to the exact moment where you traded them for dope, to the moment the dopedealer sold them again for fiat.

Luckily, if you're not doing horribly illegal stuff, i'm pretty sure law enforcement has better things to do than to find out who gambled $100 on dice or if you bought $50 worth of weed... I could be mistaking tough Wink

Thank you very much for the the simple and yet very informative explanation. I don't think you are mistaken, but if somebody does it would be interesting to see what is he/she thinking.
12011  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Zika virus 'scarier than initially thought' on: April 13, 2016, 01:36:24 PM
They´re probably trying to breathe life into some drug marketing drive. The thing has seemed dead, needed publicity.

Yep, I agree. IMO that's exactly why they are doing this. Sometimes I think that pharmaceutical companies are among the biggest evils on this planet. Nothing will stop them if they want to make more profit.
12012  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How I Spent my Sunday - Building Racking on: April 13, 2016, 01:23:59 PM
Got my second and third  S7's yesterday  had to figure out where to put them.

So I spent my Sunday building this in my Gym Room - the beginnings of a MicroFarm

Lots of work still to be done on neatening up cabling

Hmmmm how do I  embed the image?

Nice set up. Personally I'm glad you shelves are not made from wood and that they are not solid but like grate which is good for cooling.

I agree with comments about all running from one socket though. So maybe you should do something about it.
12013  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: April 13, 2016, 12:56:55 PM
Don't be buried by debt so you can always take a money out of your pocket without worrying that you can not pay your loans if you spend. If you have debt atm, try paying them one by one until they all get paid. After that you can manage your money easily, always try to spend at minimal cost. Most people tend to overeat especially at lunch, and when dinner comes they will realize that they are out of money. Try eating less so you'll spend less and save more money.

The greatest advice here IMO. It's hard to restrain youself from borrowing money but it's worth it - your life is so much happier without debts. I also agree on eating less which is always a good thing.
12014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest gambling victory on: April 13, 2016, 12:49:56 PM
I start with 3 btc and I earn 90 btc from that 3 btc. I was happy. Then I felt so sad when I didn't stop and lost 55 more and walk out with  36 btc profit.

You made a wise decision to stop at that point. I know how it's almost impossible to stop in your situation. Usually people wanting to recover losses lose everything. Good job, grats!
12015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: April 13, 2016, 12:43:45 PM
with 1.5BTC i would only get more into trading and mostly in trading altcoins, but that is just me.
there are other options like investing in casinos bankroll which can be profitable but still risky, you can also start lending bitcoin to those who need it which can be safe if you take a good collateral.

I would just hold this money because I don't know how to trade, it seems too risky to me. IMO holding Bitocins is better than investing money in something - you have around 20% increase per year doing nothing, risking nothing.
12016  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 13, 2016, 09:23:45 AM
I don't trust Bitcoin, so for me it is going to be 90% gold and 10% bitcoin. Right now, most of my savings are in the form of bullion coins / bars. I have no intention of selling them and investing in any other asset.

Maybe you are right, it's your money and of course you can do with them whatever you want but as you know the price of gold is not that stable too. In fact it has dropped more than 25% since January 2013.
12017  Economy / Gambling / Re: MY WEBSITE help Me QUIT GAMBLING. on: April 13, 2016, 09:04:15 AM
As owner who has lost btc over 50btc in less than 5 bets. I decided to create monodice.
Lately, people started to ask what is the purpose of the site. Since 2014, I have been trying to quit gambling and my way is very contrast to all others people.
I began by creating dice site alike experience and responsive. It helps me fulfill my addiction. I only beat my own house once with 1500 play-btc in pockets. I felt so good and then I lost it. Through this I have been learning myself in total different new way. I hope you CAN use my site to learn yourself too. I believe that to fully quit gambling, you need to understand yourself and the evil to the maximum. now you can try here monodice.com

I can share more story in dept with you, let me know if you want to hear some more.

Do you think this way can help people quit gambling? please share your thought and feedback.
(I do not try to promote the site, I do not make any profit. I spent my own money to keep the server up since 2014 for the hope of someday someone on earth will see it as a tool to quit gambling like I do.)

You've made a great site! Thanks! It has nice layout and also works smooth. I spent some time there playing with real pleasure. Here's my stats:

12018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: April 13, 2016, 08:49:51 AM
Just new here.
I'm one of old ones, I'm not afraid to use new technology and I don't think I'm too stupid to use it. But I have big questions about bitcoin and at this stage no answers. I think bitcoin is great idea and even a better one blockchain. Where can I ask such questions? Here? In another part of this forum?

I'm sure you'll find answers to most of your questions here on bitcointalk. So please do ask your "big questions" here and I will read the answers with big interest because I see myself in a stage where I can't even formulate a proper question.
12019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quiting gambling on: April 12, 2016, 05:05:50 PM
Need some advice on gambling.
I need quit gambling. It seems that i am getting more and more addicted to it. I want to stop before it gets worse. Can you guys give some advice on how to quit gambling.
Thanks.

You made an important step already - you decided to quit. The rest is easy - there are much more interesting and enjoyable things to spend your time and money on. I can't say what is it to you exactly because I don't know you bit I'm sure you'll figure it out. Good luck!
12020  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 12, 2016, 10:55:04 AM
10 BTC is a big money. If you don't need cash right now and you can afford to hold them I suggest hold them. Several years from now you'll have much more money just from holding your coins. Investing is very risky and you may end up having nothing.
