There is not really anything you can do. Is your BTC still locked in the account?
Either keep contacting their support or create a thread in the r/btc, r/bitcoin or /r/CoinBase subreddit. I'm pretty sure they don't check the threads here, but if your post gets a good amount of upvotes on Reddit, you will soon get the attention you need. And they tend to just ignore you unless you get into the front page.

I think "unhandled" can also mean the post was deleted already before seeing your report.

Isn't the title of the post marked like this when the post gets deleted? I went through the user's post history and the ref link spam is still there. BTW, I also received a few "bad" reports even that the post got deleted and it was the typical "good project" one-liner spam (not really an issue at the end of the day).
Edit: just checked his profile again and the posts are gone.

It's still not as good as a traditional hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor, KeepKey...), but it's definitely a step in the right direction. I'm still not sure how exactly this will work out, but looks like a phishing website still can put their own QR code on the user's page, making him connect his wallet on the hacker's end.
Also, it's only an android/iOS app. So there are no real downsides on trying it out (you don't have to buy anything).

You should raise these concerns through pm or official mail instead of making it public.
So he shouldn't be warning the users about the open scam accusations against ChangeNow?

How long will it take to be implemented? I hope that this system will work when the new bitcointalk forum has been launched. Sending PM thru theymos and Cyrus really eats a lot of time.
I couldn't find the post. But I'll try better tomorrow. IIRC, the PM was from ~1 month ago and theymos said that he would try to code it in a few weeks. So it should be out soon. So it will definitely be available in the current forum software (SMF), and not only when the new software comes out. The problem with the current system is that there is too many PM's and just theymos and Cyrus to check, verify the messages, deal with the members and recover the accounts. And they probably have a lot to do other than spend their day recovering hacked/lost accounts.

One word: Fungibility. 90 percent of U.S. bills carry traces of cocaine. But you will not get arrested just because you used a $50 dollar bill that was previously in the hands of a drug dealer. Taken from ChipMixer's FAQ on "Fungibility? Why would I care?": Let's hear the expert: First of all I was going to explain what we mean by fungibility before bitcoin and ecash. It's an old legal concept in fact, about paper currency. It's the idea that a one ten dollar note is the same as any other ten dollar note. If you receive a note that was involved in a theft, 10 transactions ago, and the police investigate the theft, they have no right to remove the ten dollar note from your pocket. It's not your fault that it was involved in a previous crime. And so bank notes actually have serial numbers, so it would be possible for a stolen note to be traced back to you. This first arose, there was a 17th century court case where a wealthy merchant sent a couple of high-value bank notes to a colleague in the post and they never arrived. Before he sent them, he was quite paranoid that they would get stolen. He wrote down the serial numbers and made a mark on them. Sure enough they didn't arrive, so he put in a complaint with the bank, and evenutally the notes turned up at the bank. He tried to get the bank to return the notes to his ownership. The courts sided with the bank. Their reason was that if notes could be returned to their original owner after a theft, it would damage confidence in currency and it would be bad for business, the currency would become unusable because every time you received the paper note you would have to look in the newspaper whether it was reported stolen, or you would have the risk of it being taken, or you would have to rush to the bank to deposit it so that it was the bank's problem.(...) Then we arrive at this problem of taint tracing. Because it's not very private, some people took an interest in tracing coins and I think the motivation was that there's a number of high-profile thefts of coins from exchanges and other businesses, and that's a problem for those businesses and they went out of businss because of it. Some people would like to put distance between themselves and coins that were used in illicit use. There is a law that says that currency is fungible, but because you can somewhat tell where a coin was used before, people started to care. Coin validation proposed to offer as a service to trace coins and try to give you a rating about how the history of the coin from your point of view and to offer that as a service to businesses. I think this could be quite dangerous because it goes back to that 17th century court case where now you could receive a coin that is perfectly valid at the time that you receive it, but a few weeks later a crime is uncovered and now your coin is tainted. So if this coin validation service is advicing many of the merchants where you would want to spend your coin at, it's tainted and now the merchant would refuse to accept your coin. That's a strange experience for you; you're holding a coin that you might have to sell at a discount to get rid of it. The aggregate effect of this might create a run on the bitcoin price. So it reopens this long-set legal principle that currency or currency units are all equal. http://diyhpl.us/wiki/transcripts/bitcoin-adam3us-fungibility-privacy/

Next time don't use a random website at all (like the one you are recommending). Either use a trusted and open source tool or something like Blockchain.info's explorer to generate the QR code. Also, double checking if the QR code matches with your address should be a requirement.

seems like altpocket not working.. would like to develop something for http://portal.totalcryptos.com for our icats system. Working well on Bittrex however, the reporting sucks. It's working fine here. What is the issue? If you're talking about an issue with Bittrex, there is something wrong with the API that isn't getting the withdrawals correctly. But the dev is working on a solution[1].

I'm pretty sure this is already being worked on. Give me a few minutes and I will find the PM someone received from theymos where he says that he is developing a system to automatically prove you own an account with your staked address.

Nuked. I just checked my report list and saw that I reported a few posts in this thread (with a "please nuke" warning IIRC). It was just all spam and a lot of "good project" nonsense. Well deserved.

Can you get the link of the thread? Maybe it's in the 'Ivory Tower' board (Members and above only) or in a bord you have ignored.

Why exactly does this matter? Looks like you are just creating problems out of your mind for the sake of increasing your post count and getting paid on your signature campaign

I'm pretty sure this is just you trolling us again (is this your new hobby?). But this address doesn't belong to ChipMixer (obviously). It's an address created by DarkStar to escrow the funds and pay the campaign users. ~snip~ I will be holding the funds for this campaign, and paying participants. The escrow address will be topped up as the campaign progresses. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512

ChipMixer's address is: 1ChipMwvHe5tewb1Uqa9bbZZJDmgPV1TC7 as stated in their website ( https://chipmixer.com/about);While the escrow address is: 1ChipWGhJtEWCeSq3cra4HmKhvYqe8Tvty (notice the blatantly difference). Good detective work btw. P.S: Got you out of my ignore list after DarkStar's post. But I'm willing to put you back soon.

You shouldn't be trusting any Legendary/Hero member just because of his rank. Back in the old days (before merit), ranking up was pretty easy. You could just visit the forum every 14 days, post any nonsense and after some time (when your potential activity has high), you could post burst a lot of spam and rank up in a few weeks. Not only this, but his account was also NEG TRUSTED. Which means that the account is useless to join bounties or signature campaigns. Thus, making any scam worth for its owner if all he cares about is money. Before trusting anyone, you need to check his background. If the user doesn't have any reputation (or a bad one), you should never trade with him without a escrow.

Lemme teach you guys something:

The wallet simply does not send the transaction to any address. When I click to generate a transaction in response, I do not get any response. What you offer does not help because I already did it does not help
Double check everything. Take a screenshot of your "Send" page and post it here.

what about xpm or other coins how can we sweep our other coins?
"Sweeping" is basically sending the whole balance of a wallet to a specific address. If you want to "sweep" a different coin, you need a supported wallet that has this feature. If it doesn't exist, you can just import your private key in the coin's supported wallet and send all the coins to your final address. The result will be the same.

Pro tip: If you don't know what OP is talking about, don't post nonsenses. You are not helping by shitposting here. Here it is: Step 1: Head to etherscan.io Step 2: Input the address you’re interested in viewing into the search field Step 3: You will be taken to a page for the address, with balances and a list of transactions Step 4: At the top of the page, see the checksummed version with capital letters included Source: https://kb.myetherwallet.com/addresses/what-does-checksummed-mean.html

Can we also get a PM sent, notifying you submitted a report with a link to the post.
The second suggestion could be useful to the members before they hit 300 reports in identifying which posts they've reported.
Sometimes I go on a reporting spree and do ~30 reports in the Altcoin/Off-topic board. Meanwhile, Welsh has almost 30k reports (which means that he would have received 30k PM in his box). Sorry, but this isn't a good idea. Hitting 300 good reports isn't that hard.
