12021  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 19, 2017, 04:14:10 PM

Gambling is also a good thing in addition to trade, the equation is need analysis and proper techniques to generate profits, results obtained can also be instant in one day. We as adults love with challenges such as betting & gambling cards

This is not recommended to people who wants to earn BTC, this is gambling and there more time of a player losing his bankroll than earning BTC. Maybe you can invest to the House bankroll to earn a certain percentage for profit.

I am earning through signature campaign, and sometimes managing giveaway and signature campaign.  I also hunt bounties if I have free time.  But the one that give me the most earning is trading.

Combination of trading and signature campaign can give you descent amount of bitcoins on regular basis and its also safe in compare to gambling as you never know what will be the outcome in gambling and most of the times you will be loosing your money so its not the best way to earn bitcoins.

Well the riskiest things in life often bring the most reward, but if you just want to play it cool and just always be on the safe side and your comfort zone well that's okay as long as you earn something on the side gradually and decently without scamming others or doing illegal things. You can always start gambling just for fun and when you get the ropes out of it, you'll be fine. But seriously if you're not into it then don't do it.
12022  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: February 19, 2017, 03:19:15 PM
Nope. As a realist, it will not be used by most people in terms of trades, purchasing, selling or whatnot. It will still be used, yes, however mainly for investment purposes and NOT as a currency as it was originally intended to be. But it's good that some people right now are actually using bitcoin for online purposes, and some large businesses and companies are also integrating bitcoin in their servics via Bitpay.
12023  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: February 19, 2017, 03:07:14 PM
It is one of the tools for future millionaires who know how to play their cards right, but as the currency of the future? I don't think so. It's uses for today is mainly for investment, nothing else. A few portion of the economy uses it as a tool to buy things and to be used as a currency? There's a very little percentage of it becoming one of the leading currencies in the future.
12024  Economy / Economics / Re: Washington Post declares Bitcoin dead - R.I.P. on: February 18, 2017, 11:15:14 PM
Bitcoin is the zombie that keeps on living and giving. How many times bitcoin needs to die in order for these FUDsters to stop lol. Typical anti-bitcoin dudes paid by the government and banks to spread misinformation. The best part of the article is when bitcoin lost a 10% of its value, because of that 'it's dead'.

This article made me cringe.
12025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Paying with the cryptocurrency on: February 18, 2017, 03:58:11 PM
Usage wise, it's almost the same as fiat: you can buy goods legal or illicit, trade them for other currency, pay your bills and whatnot. It's not entirely on how people use it since it can be used for almost the same reasons. There's not much difference apart from how it was minted and regulated and how to store/keep it. As a currency, bitcoin does it's role and quite a lot more compared to its fiat counterpart.
12026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: February 18, 2017, 09:29:54 AM
Bitcoin might have pioneered the rise of cryptocurrencies but there is no guarantee that bitcoin would stay afloat especially there had been many good altcoins right now that also has better or improved features compared to what bitcoin has right now. Also take into consideration that there are some problems right now in terms of how should we move forward from what we have right now, so consensus might also be a problem in the future and an edge of different other altcoins.
12027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Face Reality in 2017 ... on: February 18, 2017, 02:08:54 AM
That's a nice passage in there, but sometimes we need to face the reality that sometimes we have to face the music that no matter how optimistic we are on a certain thing, still not everything goes what we intend it to be. In the case of bitcoin, there are many fuck ups that already happened that is hard to buy back but we are still looking forward on having everything on the positive side.
12028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever bought games from Steam using Bitcoin? If so, for how much? on: February 18, 2017, 01:02:49 AM
For the last 6 months or so, I have been buying Steam games and in-game items, most of which for CS:GO and Dota 2 but I have also bought several AAA releases on Steam and other stuff too. So upon doing a quick look on my account, I have spent almost $500 in bitcoin for games and in-game items up to now. It might be more expensive to buy it with bitcoins but it's more efficient and more easier to use bitcoins than CC (which I never added on my account in the first place.)
12029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the amount of BTC required for a professional trade? on: February 18, 2017, 12:00:06 AM
There are no required amount to start a professional trade for bitcoins. All you need to do is to have some capital in your hand, knowledge on what you're doing and the guts to do trading. Not all millionaires started with a substantial amount. Most of them played with rags first before they achieved what they have right now. It's just a matter of how you play your cards, not with the card that you have.
12030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: February 17, 2017, 08:20:02 PM
Increase btc? Buy btc or do stuff for btc, trade, gamble or whatever. But the easiest so farm and the most effective is just buying it outright from the exchanges and then letting the value grow over time. Also, if you are into sports then why not use your knowledge into sports betting and get those btc that you ever wanted?
12031  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: February 17, 2017, 07:06:10 PM
Just keep it in your wallet and let the value grow over time. That is much safer than investments available on the bitcoin economy right now and is a guaranteed way of you getting value on your money over time.
12032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: February 17, 2017, 06:00:07 PM
Not really, you can just ask bribes for cash and not bitcoin since it would somehow make it more complicated (though transparent and it will be posted forever in the blockchain) also, bribery is an illegal offense so it's not a good thing to do and involve bitcoin with.,
12033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: February 16, 2017, 08:39:58 PM
We cannot force the government to accept bitcoin since in the first place they are trying so hard to "regulate" it and to prevent it from having widespread acceptance. Also, why would they accept such a currency that opposes the general purpose of the banks which they back so hard?
12034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: February 16, 2017, 01:04:27 AM
Buying is still the most viable option there is in terms of growing your bitcoin funds. All of the other information or options for the poll provided either require deeper technical knowledge (such as trading) or too risky for the rewards in return. Some aren't even legit to begin with and is a big no-no in terms of growing your bitcoin.
12035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar now with TOR support, what do you think? on: February 16, 2017, 12:50:54 AM
OpenBazaar + Darknet = illegal goods being advertised lol. But that might not be the case in here and to be honest, TOR isn't actually needed for such a marketplace. It might just add some doubts over the platform being on TOR and besides, TOR is not 100% safe anyways but who knows. Just an honest personal opinion, this particular support from OpenBazaar in TOR is not really amazing and surprising to say the least.
12036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: February 16, 2017, 12:07:35 AM
I would just invest in bitcoins itself rather than search for other investments out there that has the potential to scam me in the end. Also, if in case I want to invest, I'd rather give or entrust it to an ICO being run by trusted members of the community and as long as the coin is promising and looks good in every aspects same as bitcoin.
12037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction price dramatically increasing on: February 15, 2017, 06:17:38 PM
Kinda shitty to compare what we used to pay for a regular 10-minute tx to what we have right now. Though the price of bitcoin somewhat contributed to why we are paying a 'higher' fee, but it still feels like we're paying more and microtransaction is not bitcoin's main edge anymore.
12038  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: February 12, 2017, 09:16:11 PM
Defeats the main purpose of bitcoin (decentralization) and "be your own bank." What's the purpose of this bitcoin bank anyways? Even if you let them store your money, they would take a it of your profit and give you miniscule results. It's better if you just keep your own money/bitcoin and start from there. It reduces the risks of hacking and also gives you full control in your money and your profit.
12039  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 12, 2017, 09:06:55 PM
By buying bitcoins mainly, gambling/sports gambling to be specific, working for bitcoin as a writer, signature campaigns and some works outside of this forum from people I know who uses bitcoin and I ask them to pay me in bitcoin. Not making a lot of bitcoins tbh but it's still something at the end of the day.
12040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you beat the house edge on: February 12, 2017, 08:59:48 PM
Sometimes, yes, you can beat the shit out of the house edge. But as you go along and continue playing on that same casino with the same game and same methods of how you play, you'll notice that the house edge is recouping its losses and starts to eat up your own money as well. It's been proven a lot of times now, the house always wins in the end.
