Alt are falling every time when bitcoin rises or falls in price. For the succcessful growth of altcoins bitcoin must be calmed down
I agree with you and we have seen this before and I think this time, many altcoins will down again because bitcoin give a sign to go up. but although bitcoin is up, I hope that don't all altcoin that will go down and I think there will be another altcoin that will survive because of bitcoin is rise. |

The veteran people on crypto tend to say that you should keep your coins in your wallet, never on exchages. However if there is a strong downwards movement on a coin and you want to sell to buy latter at a cheaper price it may take quite a bit of time and fees to move it. What is the right strategy?
I think it is better to hold our coin in our wallet than on exchange because we never know what will happen in the exchange. I still save the big amount for every coin that I have in my desktop wallet and I only send it to the exchange if I want to sell or I want to trade in one day. but I admitted that I still have another coin that I take on the exchange just in case I want to do a fast trade so I don't have wait too long for sending the coin to the exchange. |

I think we could only make analyze how much the price will up and down without know the exact number. I think we can prevent to make a wrong prediction by doing some analyzed and maybe we are miss a little but it is fine. as long as we can get cheap price, I think it still worth and we can wait for the price increase again.

In early January Coinbase will allow BCH to be used by all traders on their platform. This combined with the BCH fanboys and the broke people looking to recoup Xmas expenses looks like a certain short-term pump to me. Shit never always goes as planned but pretty sure this will lead to a pump. Opinions?
I think this will give impacted the price and maybe the price will jump in early January and many people expect BCH reach higher price again. but if bitcoin cash makes the high price, I wonder how much bitcoin price will reach and what will people react about this. I think in that time, many people will pump this coin to make the higher price. |

It's very hard to predict the market. Just buy the coins gradually if you are unsure. You don't have to buy it all at once. Keep some money on the side to buy more if it dips.
I think there is a button to make an order for every exchange and we can use this to buy and sell for the price we want. this really helps especially if we are unsure about how much the price will go down or to go up and we can check the price and the walls before we decide to place an order. we could still buy in every time we want as long as we know how much the price we want and we can determine how much the price will go. |

I have a few assets on waveswallet.io and apparently some airdrops are planned on the waves platform in the next days .
What can I do with them ?Are they tradeable ?If so ,where ?

I think soon waves platform will launch their own exchange and if you can find it on coinmarketcap for the exchange so it will easy for you to sell the airdrops. I've got a few assets from my waves too and until now, I still collect until the amount becomes bigger so I can sell it to make a profit. you can know their value once you can find the exchanges so you can directly to sell the airdrops. until that time, I think the best thing that you can do is just to keep the airdrop until they release the new exchange. |

Bitcoin's price is still up ~50% from the 20th of November and yet everyone is panicking, why? Here's the chart:  This clearly shows that Bitcoin was about $8.2K 30 days ago. Current price is still 13K. From now on even if the price drops to a whopping 10% of the current price, a 90% drop that is, it would still be higher than the price at the beginning of the year. I think people become afraid that their investment is going to go down and this triggered them to sell with fast. you are right, the price still higher although it is dropped and we have times to see the price is going to go up soon. besides that, I think if they cut loss their bitcoin now, they can buy again at the lower price but for me, that is not a good idea, it is better to hold and buy another bitcoin again if we still have money so we can increase the amount of bitcoin we have. |

you need to know how long the transaction gets confirm because this is a problem for us when we want to do arbitrage trading especially if we want to send our bitcoin to other exchange. but I don't think that this is a good idea if we still have a problem in the transaction and if we got delays of the transaction then we cannot sell our bitcoin to get the profit and it is not worth. I prefer to stay at the exchange and do the trade as long as we can make a good profit, I think it is the same as we send our bitcoin to other exchange.

if you have found the coins you want, don't forget to determine how much money you want to invest and don't put all your money in just one coin because every coin has a big potential to increase. it is better to divide into several coins and with the same percentage or more and if you see the price increase, don't move so fast because maybe it just beginning and still need time to increase higher. I see there are too many coins that will increase higher in the future and I think we need to check one by one and see how good the chance for every coin.

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut instincts was for it.

if you have 1 ethereum then you can hold it until the price increase more than now. but I think if you want to buy another coin then you need to have another balance and don't sell your ethereum because the price will increase soon. you don't have to get tempting when you see another coin increase because this will make you become greedy and you don't focus on one coin. in the end, you cannot make any profit at all and only lose your coin and your profit. this happens with some of my friends, they are attracted to another coin when they see the coin price increase and they cut loss the coin they have and buy that coin but unfortunately, after he bought the coin, the price suddenly become dropped. |

if you have a chance to sell your airdropped while the price is in high price, you better to sell right now because no one knows when the price will stay at the high price. and airdropped is something different from coins or tokens and it could be dropped too far. so it is better to have money than you still hold because you never know is there any chance for the airdropped to reach another high price in the future.

in my opinion, the bounty is a good choice and the chance to make a big profit is wide open than airdrop. I think airdrop is just a temporary trend but bounty launch in every time. there will be many new projects will launch and I see that the dev makes bounty to promote their project. I prefer to have tokens from bounty than tokens from airdrop.

this is the beauty of news  with only the small news that tells "A", many people get to move so fast and it gives impact in the market even if we don't know what is going on there. I heard that news too but I don't think that news triggered the price to increase because I think that people thinking this could be a good time to buy bitcoin cash because "A" sell all of his bitcoin and finally the price increase too. but as far as I know, bitcoin cash does not yet reach $8500 like everyone said and maybe soon it will rise in that price. |

the history will always repeat again and again but in different situations. there will be up and down in these situations even in the future so we don't have to panic or anything if we are seeing bad situations. just make sure that we are ready to get the chance and don't miss the opportunity because it will not happen with the same thing again in the future. I think there is a big difference between a correction and a fall. Corrections have been seen very often in the bitcoin ecosystem and in my opinion should not go beyond 20% of the value of the currency. But when one faces these adverse scenarios where an asset loses 50% of its value and the confidence of many new investors, we could possibly enter into a change of trend and enter a bear market in the near future, although all this does not it is more than speculation given the absolutely uncertain nature of this market.
There have been many corrections in Bitcoin larger than this.  In hindsight they were all buying opportunities. I think we are still in the correction and we still have opportunities to buy bitcoin while the price is lower. if I see the big question mark in the graphs, maybe the new high price will happen in the next week and many people predict this too. but until now, I wonder how much the next higher price of bitcoin can reach? and besides that, I hope that in the new year, we can see the new higher price of bitcoin. |

Hello everyone!
New member here. I have been following crypto-currencies for years now (not super close, but aware of them). I had the opportunity to buy BTC at $100-400 and passed it up. I am not going to let them happen again! I have about $1k to invest in crypto. I want to diversify to an extent. I don't want 8+ currencies because it will be impossible to keep track of all the wallets and keys. I have done a little research and have come up with the following portfolio:
ETH 25%
XVG 25%
WAVES 25%
XLM 25%
I am open to changes and modifying the percentages. I currently own .5 ETH and 1.4 LTC that I will use to buy some of the other cryptos. Does that portfolio look pretty strong to you guys? Feel free to tear it apart! I would appreciate any input.

that is a good list and good percentages for each coin. I think that portfolio looks pretty strong and you can buy xvg, waves, and xlm but I think you need to wait for a while and check the price and the trends before you buy. for that four coin plus litecoin, you have a good portfolio and you can wait every coin increase in the short term. |

There are many ways to earn bitcoin. Mining machines are one of these ways but it costs money to buy a mining machine plus paying for their electricity. For a beginner, the easiest way is to work for signature compaigns that you can find in services section in this forum. That represents a good source as a beginning until you learn more about bitcoin and ways to make it.
the easiest way to work for the beginner is playing faucet to get rewards although the rewards are small, he can get his first satoshi without doing anything than waiting one hour to start again. maybe this is what people do in their first time know bitcoin and this is what I do in a few years ago. and if he can search another way then I am sure that he can earn more satoshi and he can try with something else to earn bigger. |

I don't think that all altcoin going down because if you see in the market, there are many altcoins that still survived even if bitcoin increase or decrease. and I think that this is just for temporary and soon the altcoin price will increase again, its just a matter of time that we can see this will happen soon. |

I use this to search the opportunity to make money but I don't have a good result. then I knew cryptocurrency especially I knew bitcoin and after I read much info on the net, I found that we can earn bitcoin by free. from this short stories, I think you can use the internet to help you to find out that a freeway because I still believe that if you want to gets involved in the crypto world, you need to search much information especially if you don't have any money and cannot invest. I am sure that you can find one information that will make you say "AHA" like what I got a few years ago. |

in a few days ago, I make a lot of profit because some of my coins increase and I can sell it at high prices. but since yesterday, when bitcoin price is down, I see the altcoin price is down too and I think I will wait for a while because my another coin reduces too. I think soon, the altcoin price will be back to increase and in that time, I can sell again like a few days ago.
