12061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP 2016 Discussion and Tips on: August 04, 2016, 12:13:25 AM
Barcelona vs Leicester starts soon, I really think Barcelona will win this one pretty easily. Leicester will not be as good as last season now for a number of reasons.
it's Full Time barcelona 4-2 leicester city, i can't stand to see BPL champion destroyed like that , but munir el hadadi has show his class between all la masia players , he scored two goals and he could be messi successor. they won comfortably. my bet on under 2.5 goals were lost Sad

This is an easy, EASY over 2.5 goal game.  Actually any game with Barca vs an inferior squad will almost always have over 2.5 goals.  And we all know that Leicester winning the EPL trophy could be a fluke.  I don't expect them to be in the top 4 this coming season tbh.

I'm curious where the more popular Ethereum projects will put there dapps.  Will it be in Ethereum Classic or the forked version?  These projects are Etherex, Boardroom, Akasha, Gnosis and many more.

I just watched Liverpool vs Roma preseason game.  Liverpool lost 2 - 1.  I think they lack the quality for the style they are trying to play.  Especially in the midfield.  If you watch the Real Madrid game vs Chelsea, Real was playing almost the same style as Klopp's but with higher intensity.  I don't know if this is just Zidane's way or if it's the quality of the squad.
12064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: August 03, 2016, 12:08:35 PM
Is Pogba already fix go to manchester united this season ? so many news and gossip about pogba go to manchester united but still no official news from man united.

It hasnt yet atleast for now however it will happen sure. Im pretty sure they are going to throw in more money because they have just got a bunch out from just selling zlatan's shirt, imagine what they could get with pogba's shirt , it could cover amost all of their expenses from signing pogba in less than a week
Yeah I know they now make allot of money because of merchandise because of these guys, even people who are not even fans of Man Utd are buying there gear.
Have you also seen Zlatan's first goal for Man Utd, another Zlatan like goal.
let's see if manchester united could bring pogba back to old trafford.
i guess pogba will stay at juventus , he will not going nowhere atleast for current transfer window.
zlatan ibrahimovic shirt sales profit is too good to be wasted to buyback an ex free player imo. not good for business.

I disagree.  The price tag for Pogba that Man United is willing to pay is less than his potential value at United.  It's not only that they need him for a successful campaign but it's also because of his potential value in shirt sales and ticket sales.  Pogba may be overrated today, but wait until he reaches 28 - 30 years old.  United might be back on the top by then and sales of Pogba (no.18 or 22?) shirts will be worth way more than the 100+M Euros they paid for him.
Calm down , don't too optimistic lol there is no guarantee pogba will boost shirts sales like what zlatan did.
United now got a big profit, will they gamble to take more profit by bought pogba?
I don't think it would be a good business, just another wasting money.

Don't count out Pogba just yet.  He's still a budding footballer who hasn't even reached his prime yet.  I personally would like him to reach his prime in the Premiere League.  He could become one of the legends in the history of Man United.  And yes, the shirt sales will definitely come.

This will again look like a slap in the face of Bitcoin when in fact all the blame should go only to BitFinex.  The clueless media will put a spin to this and tarnish Bitcoin's reputation once again.  And BitFinex was running an illegal business?  How did all of that volume got traded in there?  We need more non-FUD, fact based information about these exchanges.  Their profiles and their histories.  I think it's the community's responsibility to look out for each other.

I'd like to join.  But isn't .1 BTC for something like this too steep?  Let's make it 10 USD worth of BTC for the whole season and make this more for fun.  I know, I'm cheap.  But I think there would be more people playing if it was around that amount.  Just a suggestion.
12068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 03, 2016, 01:38:07 AM
with a serious engine (already with a Ferrari), Red Bull can win all race, is incredible this car because with a very bad engine Renault, end race to only 6 second to Hamilton, and Verstappen end third.
i hope for the 2018 red bull can buy a mercedes or ferrari engine or think to build a "redbull engine"

The Ferrari has a weak car and probably because the engine is also weak.  There were talks before that Mercedes was ahead in research with the V6 turbo charger engine and they pressured the FIA to replace the V8 aspirated engines ASAP.  To my understanding replacing the allowed engines was still debated and was two years away at least.  Bernie Ecclestone was unhappy about the change and argued that Formula 1 will lose fans because of it.  I lost interest in the sport for over a year because the sound of those V6 turbo engines suck.  I miss the days of the screaming V8's with drivers KERSing their way out of the corners then DRSing in the zone nearby right after.  Such a delight to watch.

The Barcelona fans are going yo say Barcelona and the Real Madrid fans are going to say Real Madrid.
We do not know who is going to win it because it can go to both teams.

Don't count out Atletico.  One thing I've recently appreciated in La Liga is that now there's a third force fighting for the title.  And they can also win the CL.

favorites to win the La Liga is always choose Barcelona or Real Madrid. Atletico madrid always less to be taken into account. whereas Atletico Madrid is a team that is always make a surprise in La Liga or in the Champions League.

Yeah, it's really a welcome surprise.  I hope we see other teams like Sevilla or Villareal step up and create another force to contend with in the La Liga.  It's always good for the fans and more entertaining.

today i have read in the italian sport site "ranieri can is fired this year from leichster", more sporting bet site offer this bet to odd 15. But why ? For the friendly game lose? Is obviusly, Leichster this year can't compete for win the premier another time

People have alot of expectation for him because he won the last premier league. Imagine that he take leicester into the relegated zone this year that would be shameful however I dont really think he could be sacked , afterall they could always end up on being top ten eventhough they cant win the league anymore

Any manager that brings his club down to the relegation zone by Winter will be a candidate for getting the sack.  No one is exempted from this even Ranieri.  One special case that I think who wouldn't get the sack in a situation like that is maybe Alex Ferguson if he was still managing United.

Those fans are biased therefore if you really want to know who is going to win then ask opinion from a non biased fans. Im neither of those team's fans and I do think that real madrid is going to win this season, zidane was great last season despite that he was only managing the team for only a few months

I agree, zidane able to make major changes to real madrid. when zidane only train for 6 months, and zidane managed to get a first Champions League trophy as a coach.

Yeah, after watching a couple of Real preseason games, I think Zidane isn't a bad manager/coach after all.  I thought he was somewhat of a joke when I first heard he was gonna be managing the club.  I like his style and to some extent he takes Klopp's 'heavy metal' football to a bit of higher intensity. Looking forward to watch their matches every weekend.
12074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: August 02, 2016, 01:18:02 PM
In order to turn gambling into a profitable activity, one must

1) Choose a game that he can get an edge from.
2) Study the game in order to get that edge.
3) Avoid games where the house always wins (usually casino games).

I personally prefer sports betting, poker and trading.  But they are arguably games of skill.

A partnership of Vettel and Hamilton will be one of the worst ones in the history of F1. Those are two of the biggest egos of the sport. It would be hard for a team to control them. But I will like for it to happen. It will be very fun to watch. Grin

Maybe would be like senna and prost remember that they were in same team and best rivals in this f1 history by my personal opinion

It could be good for Formula 1 overall.  That will be entertaining as hell and it could bring on more fans to the sport.  We haven't seen such rivalry in a while.  There was Alonso and Hamilton but that wasn't much of a rivalry at all.  It was like two little kids whining and fussing.  We want two fast and excellent drivers competing with the same cars in Formula 1.  That and bringing back the aspirated V8's.
12077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 02, 2016, 11:45:46 AM
How is Sevilla looking in the preseason?  I haven't really followed La Liga in a while because the competition is only skewed at the top with Real and Barca, but in the recent years Atletico.  I hope it becomes a foursome with Sevilla joining the mix.

Sevilla had a great run so far. Their last 6 friendly matches, they always win. Their pra-season is really good though, i hope they also can fight on La Liga this season.

I don't think so. Last year they made a poor championship and they only saved themself by winning again the Europa League. Winning all of the pre-season matches doesn't mean anything as not all the teams play to their full capacity during this time. Their organic is just not to good to fight for the La Liga. I think we will see the last 3 which we saw contending for the title again like R.Madrid, A.Madrid and Barcelona because these teams quality is much better than any other team in La Liga. In fact for me La Liga is not a good championship to watch because of the dominance of these three teams. Much better the EPL.

True.  But one thing that's good in watching other leagues is you get to know the players outside of the EPL.  One day some of these players will get transferred in the EPL.  Then sometimes you get some edge in making sports bets because you have already seen them play.

the opening weekend premier league 2016/2017

13 August 2016 (Matchweek 1)
AFC Bournemouth v Manchester United  #BOUMUN
Arsenal v Liverpool    #ARSLIV
Burnley v Swansea City    #BURSWA
Chelsea v West Ham United    #CHEWHU
Crystal Palace v West Bromwich Albion    #CRYWBA
Everton v Tottenham Hotspur    #EVETOT
Hull City v Leicester City    #HULLEI
Manchester City v Sunderland    #MCISUN
Middlesbrough v Stoke City    #MIDSTK
Southampton v Watford    #SOUWAT

AFC Bournemouth v Manchester United = Man United win and over 2.5 goals.
Arsenal v Liverpool = Draw
Burnley v Swansea City = Draw
Chelsea v West Ham United  = Chelsea
Crystal Palace v West Bromwich = Draw
Everton v Tottenham Hotspur = Hotspur
Hull City v Leicester City = Leicester
Manchester City v Sunderland = Man City
Middlesbrough v Stoke City = Stoke
Southampton v Watford = Southampton

I like the Man United + the over 2.5 goals bet.  I was thinking of doing a parlay of two Manchester clubs to win.  But I think I'll copy your bet instead.  I have second thoughts on Man City.  I think it will be a draw.
