12061  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Paymentwall 0day on: September 18, 2015, 11:01:32 AM
I prefer and want escrow, but it's a buyer choice.

I can do Team Viewer session with somebody who is really trusted here.

Generally for me it's useless, I need money, not digital stuff or balance in online gambling.

I'll show everything to the buyer BEFORE releasing money from escrow.

I hope I have exhausted your doubts.

Do you mind giving a vouch copy ? Even if it's not for me you should give it for some trusted members or a moderator around the forums. Honestly I don't believe you because with something like this you could be a millionaire , Those digital goods that you are talking about have values in money and could be sold .
12062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: $$460 in 2017 on: September 18, 2015, 06:50:27 AM
Simple math. Btc price was 115 in August/September of 2013. It's 230 in August/September 2015. I proclaim we will see 460 in August/September of 2017.

There was no block reward decreasing in the years you mentioned , but there would be in Q4 2016 so the price will probably (most likely) be more then you predicted , hopefully ... Personally only thing that worry me on Bitcoin right now is the blocksize , Core developpers should find something to do to increase it without switching to Bitcoin XT .
12063  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Buying] Bitgold for Paypal/btc on: September 17, 2015, 05:57:04 PM
I have .025g Gold. I am from US, but could give you my acct to keep for btc.

Let me know
NOT buying US accounts or bitgold from US accounts as they can not be transferred

How about my case ? I'am from Algeria (On north africa)

If you have the send payment option (check image below) you are good to go

Yes I have it and I have 0.500 grams available , that's like 18$ so let me know Smiley Tell me how much you are willing to pay for it . (Either you  go first or we use escrow as I said above)
12064  Economy / Service Discussion / Uber with Bitcoin Now Possible: Here’s How on: September 17, 2015, 05:54:35 PM
US-based bitcoin exchange platform Bitcoin Builder has announced their release of a bitcoin service that enables users to pay with bitcoin for Uber rides.

How it works :

Bitcoin Builder created a business account on the Uber network, which allows the firm to display itself as a payment method on the Uber mobile app.

Users are required to use the Bitcoin Builder multi-sig wallet to associate it with the firm’s Uber business account. After the activation, users will see Bitcoin Builder as a payment option on the “SELECT PAYMENT” section of the Uber mobile application.

The service works everywhere Uber works, even in countries like India, where credit card penetration is below 2%. According to a report published by The Hindu Business Line, the number of credit cards stood at 21 million by 2014-15. Currently, Uber does not accept debit cards in the country. Uber India takes Paytm, a centralized payment network in India for its local users. But now, Bitcoin Builder’s bitcoin-to-Uber service will give many in India that do not own credit cards or bank accounts an option to pay for the service in another way.

“India needs this service terribly,” said an Uber user in India on Reddit. “Uber does not accept debit cards and many of us don't have credit cards…people use cash a lot in India. Bitcoins bought in India are primarily bought in cash. If service like this could be extended to other services, it would be awesome.”

Honestly I never heard of "Bitcoin Builder" , but I guess I'am used to hear and read about those "unkown" companies on CoinTelegraph.com ...

12066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: currency or investment? on: September 17, 2015, 05:28:44 PM
I'am going to speak my self only here , I personally see Bitcoin as an investement for now I was too late for the train I guess since I started in late 2014 but I hope I can get on another train Grin so hopefully the price will increase , It can be a currency but for now  .. we should go mainstream and % of world population should start using it before going there .
12067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What features of Bitcoin would you never give up? on: September 17, 2015, 04:25:40 PM
The 21 million coin limit is an obvious thing , if there was a unlimited number the coin will have no value at all , same goes for the Block reward thing . Now for what comes to the features there is Decentralization , Pseudonymous so I don't have to deal with services like PayPal crap and get limited and the need of sending my documents and even buy VCC or VBA to get another account instead same goes for Irreversible Credit cards and PayPal are shitty and you also have to watch your accounts in case you traded with are retarded who have some Social engineering skills .

12068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Block Explorer do you use ? on: September 17, 2015, 03:54:44 PM
Blockchain.info kinda became crappy in general (API , blockexplorer and wallet) because it's having some downtime from time to time and this kind of things shows the bad part of Bitcoin .
So for me I'am using https://www.blocktrail.com/ (switched to wallet couple of days ago when it came out) and for the blockexplorer since long time using it , best GUI ever Grin

All you can do now is wait for BadBear or Theymos to see this topic and they should you help you out . also your account probably got locked for trying change password using the secuirty question and not the email .
12071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Sberbank CEO Admits to Owning Bitcoin Amid 'BitRuble' Controversy on: September 17, 2015, 02:30:09 PM
The CEO of Russian bank Sberbank has reportedly admitted to owning a "small amount of bitcoin", after an official from the country said an upcoming 'BitRuble' project was "illegal".

German Greft, the former Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation made the comment at Finnopolis 2015 – a FinTech conference – and noted how he had also fallen victim to the digital currency's volatility.

Speaking at the event, Gref said:

Quote
"I am one of the victims, I have a small amount of bitcoins ... Only one currency in the world has devalued more than the ruble – bitcoin."

Now he should step up and add Bitcoin to his Bank  Roll Eyes

12073  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Amount of investement needed to open a faucet ? on: September 17, 2015, 10:25:20 AM
starting a faucet is not good idea right now. as other member said you may need 5+5BTC investment , you can invest 10BTC in another good project and earn good money, much more profit then running a faucet

Honestly I don't have much Bitcoin for sure but the answers on the topic seems little bit unbalanced , some people are saying that I should need like 10-100$ tops but the first answer says 10 BTC Shocked It's not even close .

I'am willing to use paid domain , .com which is better for SEO and I'am not really planning to use FaucetBox or any simillar website that use a third party , I want something that pays directly to the user adress and honestly didn' tfind any Open source for that , something like Freebitco.in should do the job and I'am not sure how it would cost to hire a developper to do that job .
12074  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BlockTrail.com Wallet - What do you think about it ? on: September 17, 2015, 09:57:37 AM
@ETFbitcoin You probably won't regret , even if they just launched they seem to be very serious on their work , yesterday I reported a bug , and like five minuts after that they fixed it Grin
If you have suggestions for their wallet then go here and post on the Format given : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1181934.0
12075  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Buying] Bitgold for Paypal/btc on: September 17, 2015, 09:52:32 AM

12076  Economy / Speculation / If there was no Mtgox ... ? on: September 17, 2015, 08:55:48 AM
What do you think Bitcoin price would be if there was no Mtgox ? without taking in consideration that Bitcoin price was pumped by Willybot or whatever his name is .
I personally think that the price would be higher then now because Mtgox was probably one of the reasons that people either left Bitcoin or simply didn't join on the first place since they see it now as a risk .
12077  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Bitgold on: September 17, 2015, 08:48:49 AM
I'am selling Bitgold for BTC , I have 0.500g Gold like it's shown on the above screenshot and as you can see it's in Toronto .

So let me know how much you are offering so we do this Smiley
12078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Judge Orders LocalBitcoins User to Teach Police on Digital Currency on: September 16, 2015, 07:33:54 PM
A judge has sentenced Florida LocalBitcoins user Pascal Reid to serves 90 days in jail in a ruling that closes a high-profile legal case dating back to February 2014.

Originally charged with operating an unauthorized money transmission business and with money laundering, Reid plead guilty to a single count of operating as an unlicensed money transmitter. Reid will receive five years probation and must provide informational assistance to law enforcement and financial entities about bitcoin and digital currencies.

As part of the deal, Reid has been tasked with completing "no less than 20 trainings" on digital currency and cybercrime, to be organized by Detective Ricardo Arias of the City of Miami Beach Police Department.

Reid is also required to make himself available to the Miami Beach Police Department, the US Secret Service and the Miami Electronic Crimes Task Force as needed for the development of the sessions.

Attorney Ron Lowy, of Miami-based law firm Lowy and Cook PA, told CoinDesk that he and his client are "very pleased with the outcome".

Lowy told CoinDesk:

Quote
"Pascal [Reid] was facing years in prison. But, I think the government has come to the conclusion that Pascal never intended to do anything dishonest."

12080  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BlockTrail.com Wallet - What do you think about it ? on: September 16, 2015, 06:57:50 PM
Here is what HD wallet means basically , from the BlockTrail CTO  :

Quote
The Blocktrail wallet is a HD wallet, this means that all your private keys are generated from 1 master key, which is generated in your browser/app and then encrypted with your password before sending it to be stored on the Blocktrail servers.
Additionally the Blocktrail wallet is a multi-signature 2of3 wallet, 1 is your primary master key, 1 is your backup key and the 3rd is the blocktrail server key.

Another results I found by searching little bit :

Quote

HD is short for Hierarchical Deterministic. Typically, bitcoin wallets generate each new bitcoin address from a unique random number, requiring you to make a new separate backup each time you create a new address. To avoid losses from lack of backups, such wallets tend to use a single bitcoin address for all transactions. HD wallets instead use a «master seed» to derive all future bitcoin addresses sequentially, with each new address created by appending a counter to the end of the seed. In this way, all the bitcoin addresses created by such wallets are «hierarchically determined» from a single seed, only need to be backed up once, and can be fully restored at any time in the future just from the backup of that single master seed. When using a single address wallet, all your transactions will be associated with a single address, and because all bitcoin transactions are public, anyone can see what addresses you are sending funds to and how much money you have. HD wallets greatly improve your privacy by being able to generate new addresses whenever you send and receive funds, making your transaction activity and total balance very hard to track.
