i think pogba will join Real Madrid

I agree.  Real will offer him big money for sure.

Quote
ibrahimovic will join Manchester United

That's a given.  Obviously Ibra is a big fan of Mourinho as a manager and loves working under him.  Although I wish Mou's trip to PSG won't be just about Ibra, but also hoping they are looking to sign Veratti too.

Quote
lewandowski will stay at bayern

Although all signs point to yes.  Expect Man City to come after him.  Lewandowski (or another superstar striker) is a big priority for them if they want to win the league and the CL.  Aguero alone won't be enough.

Quote
mkhitaryan will join Manchester United

Yeah.  If they don't get him, they'll come after Aaron Ramsey.  Poor Arsenal.  Grin

Gameiro will join barca

Don't care.  Haha.

Here's another theory.  The Waves people must have something to do with it.

Quote

Please don't accuse me of FUD.  Can we get a clear answer from Sasha or the Waves team???

https://blockexplorer.com/address/3DWBSSAue32YS8PcW2gLs6m52BCCv3UgDA

Of the 30,000 BTC raised, they've already withdrawn 11,445 in the last few days!  Where is this money going, what is it being used for?

To put things in perspective, that's roughly $6.867 million USD!  And they still can't get listed on Poloniex?  There is something seriously up.  If this was a business on the stock market, investors would be filing complaints with the SEC.

I am seriously worried, the price of Waves keeps dropping more and more below the ICO.

Monthly updates are not good enough.  I'm afraid by the end of the month they will have withdrawn all the ICO funds!

What the heck is seriously going on?

Where is the money going?  Why do they need $6.9 million USD for a Chrome extension???  There is no marketing or major developments.  You don't need $6.9 million USD for a SMF free software-based forum.  This is whole situation is getting worse everyday.

Could it be possible for that much BTC to cause a big fall in price if it were all dumped at BTCe?
12083  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mainstream media is reporting on Bitcoin UP while stocks and fiats go down on: June 24, 2016, 02:15:08 PM
As a hedge, BTC is good.  George Soros, reports say, has been buying gold as a hedge on what he expects as another crisis in the European economy coming.  Since not all of us has access to the commodity markets to buy gold, then it's a good idea to hedge via BTC.

Gold has been hitting 2 year highs as investors look for a safe haven.  BTC has also been hitting 2 year highs...  Coincidence?  I think not.  Investors are really running for cover.

Not at all. We have a ton of integrations in progress:
An article about the integration of Stellar with Barclays and Deloitte: http://www.americanbanker.com/news/bank-technology/how-barclays-aims-to-bring-a-billion-unbanked-into-the-fold-1081591-1.html
We should have another really big announcement next month.

It would be nice to have your blog updated with all your recent announcements, developments and new partnerships.  That would really be appreciated.

Thanks.
12085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gulden to break out after Brexit? on: June 24, 2016, 06:53:24 AM
If there's one cryptocurrency traders would use as a hedge due to the whole debacle on 'Brexit', it would be Bitcoin.  There are reports that George Soros is already buying gold as hedge as he expects an economic collapse in Europe.

Now gold as we all know is the ultimate commodity used for hedging.  What would that ultimate hedge be if you're looking into buying a cryptocurrency?

The answer is right there in front of you.  Do not deny it.
12086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 24, 2016, 06:33:23 AM
I just read an article online that said that jamie Vardy will not move to arsenal and will remain in leicester city and he has already signed a contract for four seasons.
Is this story true ? If it is true I am indeed very happy and hope to bring Jamie Vardy Leicester city to Champions League glory

Yup.  Arsenal missed out on another striker.  This has been happening over and over, I don't know what's up with the club.  First they were close to signing Suarez, then Higuain, now it's Vardy.  Maybe Arsenal doesn't like to pay big wages for good players?

Or maybe Vardy just fancied a better chance to win a title again.  Grin

Neymar to Manchester United Latest: Barcelona close in on contract, replacement lined up

Source

Man U, Real and PSG want Neymar and are offering him better wages compared to what Barca is currently giving him.  But Barca want to keep Neymar and they're offering him a new contract, but it seems he doesn't want to sign at the moment.  His agent has been in contract talk for months according to reports.

Let's hope he goes to the EPL!

if I were Barca I'd let Neymar go, his performances lately weren't exactly that stellar, I dunno if he has problem of being in the Messi's (and Suarez) shadow. Or maybe he's just overrated as a player

But that's the thing.  Barca doesn't want Neymar to go.  It's Neymar who wants to leave.  The more and more I look into this, I think it's money issues.  I haven't checked yet, but I want to find out how much wages Barca is giving their superstars.  Specifically Suarez.  Maybe Neymar thinks his wages should be higher than what he's getting right now.

12088  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Poker Challenge: Getting Out of the Micros on: June 23, 2016, 10:53:06 AM

The river, he bets strong again.  Now I'm thinking there's a chance we're beat as this means he has a higher flush.  But he could also be value owning himself and could be thinking that his straight or sets (KK, QQ or TT) could be still good since we just called the turn representing only a pair and a draw.  And if is indeed thinking that, then we can raise here for value.  Or we could play it safe and just call.

I think it's close.  What do you guys think?  Do we fold, call, or raise all in?

It is not even close for me.

He has broadway cards: most likely a big pair, AK, AQ, KQ ... maybe JJ but less likely

True, but coming from a really tight player, this looks really strong.  Especially by the turn.  Looking at it now, yeah it's not close.  In the heat of the moment, it felt really close and I was second guessing myself.

Quote
As such, the odds of him also having 2 clubs are extremely low. My guess is AA or AK with the Ace of clubs.

I try to get as much in as I can on the river, knowing he might fold Aces to a shove. Thus depending on stacks & pot, I might reraise rather than shove. Regardless, I definitely want a call. I don't want to see a re-raise, but I have to call if it comes. He'll beat me with a bigger flush sometimes ... but I try to play the long game and not worry to much about it.

I agree.  This should be an easy decision for 100bb.  If stacks were deeper, it would be a different situation.

Everton agree release clause for midfielder

Finally!  We'll be able to see Sneijder in the EPL.  I was hoping LVG would sign him to Man U two years ago as I was anticipating a Dutch contigent forming under him.  But I would be happy if that deal goes well with Everton nevertheless.

I believe Sniejder is one of the Netherland's best players of all time.

no way neymar move to manchester united especially under jose mourinho.
he happy already at barcelona play with the best player in the world messi and luiz suarez.
what was the reason neymar to leave barcelona? absolutely this news/rumour from express.co.uk are bullshit.

Who knows...  Maybe he needs another challenge in his life?  A change of atmosphere?  More money?

But one thing is for certain, that contract extension at Barca is getting moldy by now.  So a transfer is more likely for him.  The most likely destination is probably PSG.  They're offering 25M Euros a year after taxes.

Also Neymar's sister posted this on Instagram

"I hope you're going to a place that will make you happy."

12091  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Poker Challenge: Getting Out of the Micros on: June 23, 2016, 07:13:14 AM
Hello.  I need a little help figuring out the best move for this hand.

Quote

$5.00 No Limit Hold'em

Deimos2006 (SB): $4.81
Hero (BB): $6.30
xHasckerx (UTG): $8.66
dustyboots88 (MP): $6.06
kubowow (CO): $5.37
KenjiGye (BTN): $5.00

Let me first point out that Deimos2006 is a really really tight player.  He's a rock and doesn't go out of line much.  When he bets strong, he usually has the nuts or close to it.  But then again, he could use his tight image to his advantage.

Our image is somewhat loose and aggressive preflop as he have been reraising with weak hands in certain spots preflop and check raising with air when we think someone is trying to steal the pot.

Quote

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BB with 7 6
4 folds, Deimos2006 raises to $0.20, Hero calls $0.15

Standard call preflop from the big blind vs a small blind raise.

Quote

Flop: ($0.40) T K Q (2 players)
Deimos2006 bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30

On the flop we have a small flush draw, he bet we call.  If he has a straight or KK, QQ, TT then we could get stacks in.

Quote

Turn: ($1.00) 5 (2 players)
Deimos2006 bets $0.72, Hero calls $0.72

On the turn we hit the flush and yet our tight opponent still bets strong.  I am having second thoughts raising here as he could now have a bigger flush in his range.  But he still has straights and sets to go along with it.  With our loose image he could still be thinking he's betting his hand for value.  So I opted to just call.

Quote

River: ($2.44) 2 (2 players)
Deimos2006 bets $1.75, Hero Huh

The river, he bets strong again.  Now I'm thinking there's a chance we're beat as this means he has a higher flush.  But he could also be value owning himself and could be thinking that his straight or sets (KK, QQ or TT) could be still good since we just called the turn representing only a pair and a draw.  And if he is indeed thinking that, then we can raise here for value.  Or we could play it safe and just call.

I think it's close.  What do you guys think?  Do we fold, call, or raise all in?
12092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should Ethereum be Forked Your Opinion (Poll) on: June 23, 2016, 04:14:03 AM
Just want to see what people's opinion is on  the matter.

If Ethereum does decide to do a soft fork, then a hard fork to return all investor funds.  Then they might as well do this for exactly that purpose and close the platform down right after.

Imo, it's better to start from scratch with a better platform minus the security issues, the stigma and the bad rep.
12093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies (Based on Funding). Do Your Research. Make Informed Decisions. on: June 23, 2016, 04:07:16 AM
Hello guys.  Another weekly update straight from the blogs of their respective platforms/projects.

It's really sad seeing what happened with Ethereum.  But in the long run, as far as the whole world of cryptocurrencies is concerned, it's a good thing.  Hacks and exposing security issues must happen now and it's better that way.  The earlier these issues are known, the earlier the devs can find a fix and everyone to learn from them.

Among the projects listed there's two that caught my eye and might make profitable trades.  BTS and XRP.  They look to go on a trend reversal as the volatility of both are starting to increase at the same time the prices are going up.  That means there's interest in these two again.  Smiley

But the interest is more pronounced in XRP because the volume increase is huge across the board on Polo and the Ripple gateways.  That plus the news of 7 banks join Ripple and 90 more coming.

Here are some charts.  Encircled are the possible points of trend reversals.

BTS

XRP

On a final note, these are not recommendations to buy but are just my thoughts for fun and discussion purposes only.  Thanks.

Europe's robots to become 'electronic persons' under draft plan

Source

Quote
Europe's growing army of robot workers could be classed as "electronic persons" and their owners liable to paying social security for them if the European Union adopts a draft plan to address the realities of a new industrial revolution.

Robots are being deployed in ever-greater numbers in factories and also taking on tasks such as personal care or surgery, raising fears over unemployment, wealth inequality and alienation.

I think the impact of this in our society is huge.  I would expect the working class who will be left out to march the streets and start breaking and destroying these robots to express their discontent.  Are we actually becoming (or living in) a dystopian society?
12095  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We Could Be Living In Simulation Says Elon Musk on: June 23, 2016, 01:16:47 AM
Hey. It's a simulation. If you manage to get out, there's no way to know what to expect. Could be anything. Stay in the simulation and forget about it... and start living a happy life.

Cool

I totally agree.  But I don't agree in forgetting about it.  I think the simulation argument is something good to talk about to start a stimulating conversation.

Like, when you say simulation, is this a simulation where all of you live in my mind simulation or do we all live inside a common simulation?
12096  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Poker Challenge: Getting Out of the Micros on: June 22, 2016, 04:04:23 PM
just noticed your thread and I really love poker challenges , I mainly play SNGs in Betcoin
you should try to play SNGs especially STT , at these games it's easy to build a bankroll and to move up quickly and since you are playing in Stars games should fill up quick
good luck anyways

I'll keep that in mind.  But for this challenge, it will be cash games only.  I'm thinking about doing another challenge playing exclusively SNGs though.  Maybe after this challenge, I'll start doing that.  The way we're going...  Maybe in 1 year?  Haha.  Grin

But only $150. I was hoping to see you over $240 by now.

I hate to say it, but I'm not that good of a player. But I like the challenge and I love playing poker.  Smiley

Also thanks for the support.  I really appreciate it.

I think there's some value on Italy -0.5 at 2.38 vs Ireland.  Italy has been running good in this tournament so far without signs of that stopping soon.  I wonder what Conte's secret is during half time but their team seem to get more energetic at 2nd half.  1st half draw at 1.81 seems like a decent bet too.  What do you guys think?
