12101  Other / Meta / Re: User stats are still disabled? on: July 21, 2018, 05:53:22 PM
People would still be able to use it as a DDoS tool (if that's actually the reason why it got disabled).

Did this button ever worked?
Obviously.

What kind of stats can we expect to see there?

I was curious about it but recently I am satisfied with the stats available, such as number of posts, time logged in, etc..
IIRC, the stats were: total time spent online, number of posts, number of threads, number of pools created/voted, number of posts per each time of the day, number of posts per board and activity earned per board.
12102  Other / Meta / Re: Is there option to change theme on this forum ? on: July 21, 2018, 03:26:32 PM
No. What you can do is use an external browser extension to change the forum design a little bit (e.g: make it dark).

I would use Stylus (open-source and an alternative to Stylish which is a spyware). Then, just search for a BitcoinTalk theme (there are a few).
12103  Economy / Reputation / Re: Same address question on: July 21, 2018, 04:34:31 AM
If you could prove that the actual address is yours then you could  Report the one who copied your address and it would be easier if you staked your address here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.0
This doesn't have anything to do with OP's concern.

OP: Sadly, I think you would be tagged. Which is why I don't think this is enough evidence to "connect" two accounts to one person. Anyways, most of the time no one is going to "work" for you by doing bounties so you can get a negative tag, which is why most of the time the user accused is really abusing bounties.
12104  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BINANCECASHBACK.COM - Get Back Your Binance Trading Fees on: July 21, 2018, 04:13:11 AM
What about those who have already accounts in binance?
Then you use this.

I would however want to hear some testimonials from people before joining the site, its risky to do this. It does mean that binancecashback have access to the binance account too, which means a security risk for your money. I could be wrong but be cautious, very risky for traders who have a lot to lose.
That's not how this works. You register to Binance with their referral link, which consequently will make them earn 20% of your trading fees. Then, they will give you back a part of those earnings (12%, while they keep 8%). It's not hard to understand. You just have to read the thread.
12105  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for help with service ANN on: July 21, 2018, 03:50:04 AM
Check this thread: Overview of Bitcointalk Designers (Signature, Avatar, etc)

Press Ctrl + F and search for "ANN Thread" to see who does this kind of services.

edit: fixed the link
12106  Other / Meta / Re: How to contact theymos (or cyrus) outside this forum? on: July 21, 2018, 03:37:04 AM
The only way to contact theymos outside the forum is by emailing him. I'll give you the email in case you need it, will back in a few minutes.
EDIT: This is theymos recovery/hacked report email: acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com, he probably has a lot of emails, but I just know that address.
I'm pretty sure theymos said somewhere that he doesn't check this email anymore (P.S: there is actually a lot of recovery emails from the theymos.e4ward.com domain, and not just this one).
12107  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Lost coins in Trezor! on: July 21, 2018, 03:12:49 AM
See if your balance shows up when you use Electrum to manage your Trezor wallet.

Here is a quick tutorial: https://blog.trezor.io/using-trezor-with-electrum-v3-a0b9bcffe26e
12108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Creating your referral link from Google Forms Airdrop. on: July 20, 2018, 04:52:00 PM
When trying to embed an image, copy the direct URL of the image (which usually ends with .jpg or .png); You are trying to embed a website (imgur);

Just right click the image and select "Copy Image URL".
12109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Insert image tutorial on: July 19, 2018, 11:18:52 PM
Still, I would like to know why it is not possible for me to insert pictures? I read something about my rank. But is there no other option?
Either wait until you rank up to Jr. Member or pay a fee to become a Cooper Member (which will lift some of your restrictions as a Newbie).

You can read more about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104

12111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between mainnet and testnet in metamask on: July 19, 2018, 04:51:05 PM
so the testnet part can not be used at all to transact?
Read my post again. I just said that you will transact ETH's which aren't worth anything.

If you select testnet, you will transact "fake" ETH (like the name says, ETH meant for testing, which isn't worth anything and has its own blockchain). Basically, play money.
12112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between mainnet and testnet in metamask on: July 19, 2018, 04:43:02 PM
If you select mainnet, you will transact "real" ETH (those who are worth $470 and can be deposited in exchanges, used on ICOs, etc...);
If you select testnet, you will transact "fake" ETH (like the name says, ETH meant for testing, which isn't worth anything and has its own blockchain). Basically, play money.

Report this to your bounty manager.
12114  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Live on: July 18, 2018, 05:08:16 PM
Noice. Didn't know about this. Do you think the future versions of the Ledger firmware work with the obsolete ledger chome app though(after it loses support)? Definitely will ask r/ledgerwallet later if I remember.
I dunno. I think they will keep working for some time.

(At least while Ledger doesn't decide to do a full rewrite in the future)
12115  Other / Meta / Re: why was i banned.... on: July 18, 2018, 04:49:58 PM
LOL. I liked your trust rating. Really the kind of user this forum needs.

Your whole post history consists of low quality posts. This isn't bountytalk.
12116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 and ETH, the same? on: July 18, 2018, 04:32:46 PM
Next time stop being lazy and Google.

What are ERC-20 Tokens?
12117  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Live on: July 18, 2018, 02:14:05 PM
Chrome is going to cut off support to ALL extensions, not only for Ledger's wallet extensions, so this is in no way ledger's fault; just for your information.

But yea, 64bit is required, so re-install your operating system if you have to. If your hardware can't support 64bit though, unfortunately you have to either buy new computer hardware, or wait for the mobile version of ledger live.
Just a FYI: even when Chrome stops supporting every Chrome app, you can keep using the old Ledger apps (while they are compatible with the hardware) by running them through nwjs.io

Just https://nwjs.io/blog/chrome-apps-support/ and unpacking a release from a project available on https://github.com/ledgerhq should work

12118  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Live on: July 18, 2018, 01:52:19 PM
You should be able to interact with a Ledger through Electrum which should run on a 32 bit machine - https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005161925-Set-up-and-use-Electrum
Or use MyEtherWallet to manage/send your ETH/ERC-20 tokens.
12119  Other / Meta / Re: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ on: July 18, 2018, 04:05:05 AM
~
It's not against the forum rules. Officially, you can have as many accounts as you want.

The real problem is what you do with those multiple accounts. If you're going to spam, don't even bother. If you are going to break any campaign/bounty rules (e.g: don't join with multiple accounts), then you also have a problem.
12120  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to use Ignore? on: July 17, 2018, 07:00:43 PM
Ohhhh I see there's still a lot to learn in this forum my 8 days, 9 hours and 17 minutes is still not enough, last question will the person know that I ignore his post or the user itself?
No. It doesn't show to anyone.
