12141  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling BitcoinTalk.jp For 3,000 USD on: October 24, 2014, 12:15:25 PM
We got this domain seamlessly, from an American domain registrar, without going through any of those restrictions. I am surprised. Thank you for uncovering this, and I promise to mention this if advertise elsewhere.

That's weird, this is the whois log :

Either you are Japanese, or the address details you entered are fake, or the domain is registered with the registrars address details assuming they have an office or atleast a postall address over there.
12142  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling BitcoinTalk.jp For 3,000 USD on: October 24, 2014, 12:03:37 PM
I quote from the internet

Quote
.JP Any individual, group, or organization that has a permanent postal address in Japan may apply for a 2nd level, i.e., General-use JP Domain Name.
(e.g. EXAMPLE.JP)

Quote
(name of prefecture).jp Any person or organization having a residential address in Japan can register any number of domain names.
Prefecture Type JP Domain Name includes one of the names of the 47 prefectures in its structure.
(e.g. EXAMPLE.HOKKAIDO.JP, EXAMPLE.TOKYO.JP, EXAMPLE.NAGASAKI.JP)
The third level domain can be registered in both ASCII and Japanese.

These do look like country related restrictions.
12143  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: @Magicbitcoin - twitter handle available on: October 24, 2014, 11:49:39 AM
this handle must be worth at least tens of thousands

good luck with sales

You mean this https://twitter.com/@magicbitcoin ? Please tell me how can this worth ten of thousands. It has only 6 followers.

He is right, but his valuation of tens of thousands is a bit on the low side.

I think it can fetch an easy 250K
12144  Economy / Services / Re: How to set up a website. Please help. on: October 24, 2014, 11:47:50 AM
I suggest you to buy a safe gambling script, and have a second person to check that script to make sure there are no backdoors and glitches.

There are some good open source scripts on github that you can use, perhaps offer some one a bounty to get it installed and working properly.

Buying a gambling script might not be of much help, because he will still need help in building and developing the game.

How so? There are ready to use gambling scripts for sale, and not expensive at all.

And I'm sure the people will help with installing everything as well.

the concept is completely different. there is no bankroll or anything.
there is no script currently available for it.

Perhaps an idea to tell us what kind of game you are looking for ?

Without a bankroll it will be difficult, but you can start with a very low budget.
12145  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling BitcoinTalk.jp For 3,000 USD on: October 24, 2014, 11:11:35 AM
$3000 is way too high yeah, and I'm sure there are some country related restrictions that you should mention in the OP.

Still better than the other dude asking 21BTC as start bid for bitcointalk.info, and the BIN price is 50BTC  Cheesy
12146  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 24, 2014, 10:54:23 AM
I think we will see the price of Bitcoin go further down this year, so I don't expect the difficulty to rise by a lot.

Would be cool to see a decrease in difficulty for once, we deserve that  Cheesy

12149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal screw up again [Bitcoin wins] on: October 23, 2014, 07:46:32 PM
Again , Paypal proove that they don't know what they are doing . I'am planning to let paypal go , and just trade my money to Bitcoins.
this image explains all ... now kids can just chargeback after 4-5 months . GG *facepalm*

Paypal didn't screw up...

It's just an extra protection for current and potential buyers, and they will actually like it.

People still compare Paypal with Bitcoin, none will win and none will lose. These are two totally different payment options.
12150  Economy / Auctions / Re: domain mrlo.com auction on: October 23, 2014, 03:47:29 PM
Okay  Smiley
0.2 BTC

Good luck with the domain.

I'm out  Smiley
12151  Economy / Auctions / Re: domain mrlo.com auction on: October 23, 2014, 03:44:32 PM
so, one of you have to bid 0.15 btc
Everything is simple.
I'll bid 0.1BTC(start), 1Referee bid after me. So he have to bid 0.15 BTC.

What does start means... Start the race? Start your engine? Start a new war?

A valid bid should be 0.1BTC and not start

Subjot did not place a bid, he only said start.
Are you kidding me?  Smiley
Start: 0.1 BTC
Min increment: 0.05 BTC
Buy it now: 0.8 BTC
End: 48h After last bid
Payment: BTC

domain only. trade via escrow.
Start means start of auction.

No problem. 0.15BTC  Grin

I'll bid 0.1BTC

Good to see that not everyone is asking insane amounts for domains.
12154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.9.3 Update {Video} on: October 23, 2014, 01:06:36 PM
Hey guys, it's Jason. I made a video talking about what are some of the more important features of the bitcoin core 0.9.3 update, hope you enjoy Smiley
http://youtu.be/6W5pT5AHdgM

Nice video, people usually install the updates without knowing what the changes are.

Even newbies can understand it, well done!
12155  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain coinbetting.eu on: October 23, 2014, 12:54:22 AM
Stop fucking bumping this, or at least be fair and delete your old posts.

Uh, what's your problem?

He's not bumping his thread every 24 hours like many other do, and some do even two times per 24 hours...

And btw.... It's not possible to edit or delete a post in the auction section.
12156  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitstamp is bullying VERIFIED CUSTOMERS! on: October 22, 2014, 11:19:12 AM
This verification process is annoying I agree, but they are forced to do so.

At this point people are complaining about it's way too difficults, too much hassle....

But if they don't, and one day lose a lot btc due to a hack or fraud, then people will complain and moan about why they don't have a proper verification process.

Rules are rules, if you prefer to have an exchange with less rules, then I suggest BTC-E.
12157  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Domain] EXXBT.COM - Exchange XBT BTC on: October 22, 2014, 11:04:43 AM

can we use escrow services?

Instead of reading the title only, you should do some extra effort to read the OP as well.....
12158  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] earnbtc.net - 1bitcoin.net - freesatoshi.com on: October 21, 2014, 08:55:18 PM
0.035BTC for earnbtc.net
12159  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCChina Down... but trading.... Fake ??? on: October 21, 2014, 08:53:57 PM
Probably some VIP API for whale clients who are running bots. I doubt BTCChina is faking its data, it's the most legit Chinese exchange.

Don't think they will give whales such an advantage, won't be fair.

The only advantage a whale could get is lower trading fees due to their high volumes.
12160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange do you trust the most? on: October 21, 2014, 08:44:48 PM
For sure BTC-E, it's the best exchange for me.
