12161  Economy / Economics / Re: Milion of BTC lost and Milion BTC in hand of few people. A danger? on: February 09, 2016, 02:00:52 PM
You afraid that 200 million dollars are going to damage economy? If it would be so easy, billionaires would be posed as national threats ages ago.

200 million dollars are not going to destroy the economy of the world, but people who have in their hands 200 million dollars' worth of Bitcoin might manipulate the price of it to some extent. Maybe that's exactly what they are doing now: trying to lower the price in order to buy a lot of BTC when it's low enough.
12162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are you going to do if Donald trump become president? on: February 09, 2016, 01:49:22 PM
What will I do? Well, first of I would take out $100 and will give them to the man I made bet with, because 6 months ago I was sure Trump will not be the President. Other than that idk, I'm not going to start a revolution against him that's for sure. IMO your life doesn't depend on who is the President.
12163  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: February 08, 2016, 04:13:51 PM
we would be brainwashed by our televisions, like in the old good times. Now we are just brainwashed by the web, really a great revolution

I can see your sarcasm but actually it is a great revolution. When we were brainwashed by TV we didn't have choice. Now it's more like the falt of those who are brainwashed than of those who do the brainwashing. Choose the right sites and make your own conclusions and you'll be ok.
12164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 08, 2016, 04:06:33 PM
I think in 2020 Bitcoin will have a good value like 20000 usd per 1 btc or more.
I keep my bitcoins for a good price in future.

That's a nice prediction, I like it, we all want the price of BTC rises big time. But personally I think by 2020 we'll have around $10k for 1 BTC, not more. But even that is good enough and of course I wish you were right.
12165  Economy / Gambling / Re: A true Martingale system for sports ;D on: February 08, 2016, 03:52:52 PM
Although I'm not into sports betting I think that martingale is always a martingale. You might lose a lot betting like this, but you might win also if you are lucky. What I personally don't like in martingale is that if you win you get a much smaller amount than you might lose.
12166  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: February 08, 2016, 03:48:33 PM
I will wait for at least 5 years to sell it... I am waiting for 5-6 digits for BTC price... Grin

I agree with you. I expect that the price will hit $10k in 5 years from now and it is 5 digits as you said. ) But for 6 digits I think we should wait much longer, 20 years maybe.
12167  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: February 08, 2016, 03:43:56 PM
I am thinking out of the mining game too, becouse price is getting higher and this is  to expensive.

I know that now the mining becomes unprofitable in the areas where the electricity prices are high. All my mining friends continue with mining only because they have free electricity or the the price of it close to nothing.

But I hope when the price of BTC rises to over $450 the mining will be profitable again in most areas.
12168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oops Price is 425$ Now... on: February 08, 2016, 10:10:57 AM
haha, I thought "What a great news!" when I saw this topic and then i realized that it was from December 26, 2015.

But I don't think that $376 which we have now is that bad. No. We are recovering, step by step. I think we'll see the $425 again in March or in April.
12169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: February 08, 2016, 10:03:26 AM
Just wondering why people use so many Bitcoin wallets.

Idk, I was using only two couple of years ago, and now there is only one left. I know many people here will say I'm crazy, but I'm using Coinkite and that's my only wallet now. I like the fact that you have access to your coins from anywhere on Earth, and for that you don't need to have even a smartphone, just an Internet café nearby is enough.

12171  Economy / Economics / Re: Milion of BTC lost and Milion BTC in hand of few people. A danger? on: February 08, 2016, 09:18:21 AM
Lost BTC isn't really an issue, it's gone and most likely never going to be recovered. Stolen BTC could be and will be a problem. Large holders are a question indeed, but if prices go up these whales are unlikely to dump their stash in one go. If they sell then more likely they will sell it in a dark pool to a corporate player or to another whale.

Exactly, the large holders are most likely not going to sell big portions of their stash at once because they know that the consequence of such a dump will the decreasing of the Bitcoin price. This is not what they want for sure.
12172  Economy / Economics / Re: Shall I hold or invest with %12.5 premium per year ? on: February 07, 2016, 01:10:19 PM
holding your bitcoin is more safer than investing them and you will have no acces to them in one yeam for %12.5 so hold them and make more Wink

I absolutely agree with this. Not only you will have no access to your coins during the next year after investing but you might never see them again in the end. So you better hold your coins and the price of them, I hope, will raise more than %12.5 in one year.
12173  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drugs fuck you up, man on: February 07, 2016, 11:25:29 AM
There's no problem in my country. I think USA (and Canada, because you are from Vancouver) had this problem for more than 30 years. 80's generation is crack babies, we can expect these conclusions because government had no policies back then. They want American people to sleep. If you educate yourself you wouldn't do any drugs.

education isnt enough to keep off drug addiction.. you should solve your problem with the help of an expert before starting to use illegal shits.. but goverments must take some serious precaution to diminish drug usage.. it must be banned in the whole world. countries must act concurringly..

If you ban something that doesn't necessarily mean you get rid of it entirely. On the contrary youth as we all know likes to act agianst laws and sometimes young people do drugs just to "protest" against the society which bans them. I think it is much better to explain (in songs, movies etc.) that using drugs is not cool rather than banning them.
12174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Airdrops 1 Million BTC to the Poor on: February 07, 2016, 09:15:46 AM
BTC are not free coupons or free money. Anyone of us earned them one way or another in different ways and I think that's okay. Nothing like this should ever be free, it needs to be earned. That is the way of having a fair distribution.

Bitcoin like any other money might be given for free to the poor, that's a normal thing, we should help each other. But no way this practic should prevail over earning Bitcoins because this would be the end of it.
12175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Europe wants end to anonymous Bitcoin transactions on: February 05, 2016, 04:10:30 PM
I dont see how Bitcoin ruins integrity of Eu?
Why they even bother with this minor thing, when they have immigration catastrophe.

because they can not deal with immigration, problem but they can problably deal with this

they are avoiding on purpose big problem, but remember that this is not for private user, private user can sell how many coins they want with another private, no one will ever know about it

Yes, I agree. As long as we are not going to transfer millions dollars' worth in Bitcoin we shouldn't worry about their intentions. Wait ... Actually we shouldn't worry in any case because there is always a way to do something if you have brains ... and money.
12176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the dice hype? on: February 05, 2016, 03:57:59 PM
Hey people!

I've got a question for you all:
Why is dice so popular in btc world?

I mean, gambling is not specific to btc, lots of people gamble in fiat no problem with that. But (at least in Europe) dice gamble is something that barely exists! Roulette yes, poker yes, blackjack yes! But dice? Never saw any xD

It's a bit special, maybe dice is a lot more common in the USA or in Russia/China but I find it really specific to bitcoin! And I wonder why dice sites are such a huge trend in the btc gambling world!

Any idea?

I think that dice is so popular because of its simplicity. It's pure luck nothing else: If you win it means you are lucky today, if you lose means you've got bad luck, that's all. No one to blame for your losses. I personally like dice btw much more than any other game.
12177  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: February 05, 2016, 03:45:39 PM
I think it is possible that Bitcoin will replace Dollar but this will not happen soon, in fact this will not happen next 50 years IMO. On the other hand Bitcoin might replace Dollar very soon in some particular areas like Internet trading, online gambling and such, but not in all areas.
12178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Choose the Best Bitcoin Gambling Site? on: February 05, 2016, 11:12:42 AM
I think best way to choose the best one for you is that you see on which site u win and which u loose at Smiley
NO NO NO! It will take too much time and money to find out which one is the best that way.

To OP: Browse this forum and you'll find the answer to your question. Just one tip: pay attention to the TRUST of the one who advertises a site.

This is amazing! But the guy who received the tip is a whale so maybe he lost much more before and this was a consolation prize? Or things like this happen in Luckybit chat regularly? If it is so I should register there immediately.  Smiley
12180  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: February 05, 2016, 10:48:40 AM
bitcoin prices today rose to touch $ 390, I think a lot of people benefit, as previously bought at the price of $ 370
I think today. the right to sell your bitcoin
But it may increase more and reach to lets say 500$ so selling bitcoin in that case is not beneficial.

Yes the price might rise to $500 and it will I'm sure by summer, but in the meantime you can make some money by exploiting its fluctuations. I never have profited from such business but I know some people are doing this successfully.
