12181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 22, 2016, 10:23:17 AM
If you seriously think of quitting gambling, you will find a way or other. The problem is our mind says leave gambling while the heart keep pushing us towards gambling. I personally have found it difficult to quit it and hence always loose some BTC here and there.

Never listen to your inner thoughts, it will always induce your emotions to get more greedy. If you do not obey your mind then time will throw you away from gambling after losses with huge debits. It's better quitting before things go worst.

So generally it's all about defeating our self interest in gambling and not the gambling thing itself.

That is the source so better killed that source so that the gambling thing will easily removed now in your habit.
12182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 22, 2016, 10:21:27 AM
You are right but actually why sportsbook or say sports betting is better than dice is because in dice you play too fast and hence you get burst away too soon. Sports betting are safer and profitable to myself too.

Well safer might be the right term but of course it doesn't mean it has no risk.

Anyways, a good tip for new to sportsbook, you can maximize your winning amount by making a good set of parlays.

Of course it will include sports analyzation and own speculation but one thing for sure it has greater chances of making a quiet amount of winnings.
12183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 22, 2016, 10:17:28 AM
For me it is the the amount of scammers that are surrounded with bitcoin. It gives bitcoin a bad name and frightnes potential adopters/ companies to get started with bitcoin.
The way bitcoin works, leaves no dissatisfaction to me.

Scammers give bitcoin a bad name, it make people think it is easily hackable and associated with bad people.

Disagree. It's up to people if they will believed that bitcoin is easy to hack. If they will learn more about bitcoin, probably they will not think about that.

And bitcoin is money so any associated crimes, negative/bad news, illegal activities etc. that money involves can also be happened in bitcoin.

12185  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: February 17, 2016, 09:36:09 AM
Same here.  Thank you for getting a payment out.   Only thing is with it going past Sunday, Monday and Tuesday posts did not get paid and the counter reset to zero.

If you can do a payment run for monday/tuesday we would be all back to normal and great.

Hmm look like Im getting the picture now.

So the post for Monday and Tuesday are not included in the payment today unlike in the previous delays that all post are covered even after the expected payment date until they made the payment?

I see. So the post after 14th are the post who didn't count and now the bot reset to zero. Hmm how can they look into the post made after 14th if the bot are reset now?
12186  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: February 17, 2016, 04:20:12 AM
Payments received but it's lacking about ** post. Can't remember.

Well I have a screenshot of my bot stats yesterday before I logged out as a reference. I will show them via PM later.

Thanks Bit-X.
12187  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: February 16, 2016, 04:10:47 PM
it could happen but not as quick people are saying it will take years before its even possible.
Plus a downside is that the bitcoin is very hated by much banks that's another pity for the bitcoin.

Who said bitcoin are hated by the banks? Can you show some valid proof?

And no bitcoin will not definitely replaces the money. Look at all sides and know deeply what will be the effect of it globally.

Bitcoin today is better than replacing the current money system.
12188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 16, 2016, 04:08:03 PM
Gabling and safe can't go together, if you want to be safe, then bet small bets, not all of your money at once
yes if you try small bets and win, then you will be addicted to bet bigger, so you'll lose all your money.

Same with gambling for fun. They think gambling for fun may lead to minimizing the loss "even they can afford the amount that will be lose".

If one always make earnings thru that kind of gambling for fun purposes, of course it's impossible to for them to not repeat it always resulting for much bigger loss.
12189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 16, 2016, 04:05:55 PM
Gambling is wrong, every year there are a lot of people that are losing their money because of it.
Not only they lose their money they also lose all their friends/family because of it.

Then the people are wrong and not the gambling itself.

Those people you are talking have minds and brain. Gambling has no physical appearance itself.

Why do you think the no brain gambling can control those person with brain?

Who is now the wrong here?
12190  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: February 16, 2016, 04:04:23 PM

not sure if we get to $700 based only on halving. we need some more money, especially new money flowing into the Bitcoin. And for that we need to attract them, have positive sentiment due to some positive fundamental developments. For now there is nothing on the table, so I would be cautious. $400 is definitely not good selling price as we may get to $500, maybe slightly above. Whether we go farther, we shall see...

Because of rumors and good speculations about halving, definitely we will see some nice bitcoin price before it happens. The most thrilling part here is what will be the real halving thing effects on the price.

Before halving the price will thoroughly increase because of rumors so many will perform their buy moves to take part of the event. Let's wait now for the aftermath of halving.

Almost a similar thread.

Better to bring the discussions there.
12192  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: February 16, 2016, 03:08:48 PM
I am buying Bitcoin too for a low price. But I think it will be more worth later. And that we can all sell it with much profit.
But you must to take the risk that you are going ti invest in Bitcoin. There is a small chance that you can lose your money. Because the value can maybe fall.

If you allow yourself to lose all the money then you are one to blamed here and not the bitcoin price.

Don't just hold and hold. Learn to play the market to minimize the loss.
12193  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 16, 2016, 03:07:45 PM
Current price : $408 Bitfinex.

Just want to dig some post here back when the price sits around $370 saying that is not the right time to buy since it will touch the price of around $350.

Now one could makes profit today and just monitoring the price if he will go for a long or short.

You can do profit even your desired target is not reached. Learn to ride the roller coaster feature of bitcoin price.
12194  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2016, 03:04:49 PM
For most of us Bitcoin is just an investment tool. These people are only interested in seeing the price go up so they can start selling. They don't care much about the currency aspect of Bitcoin.

Well it's true but at some point it really helps bitcoin in other way like increasing the bitcoin users globally.

No doubt that because of bitcoin price hype that's why many people here, at least, got involved in bitcoin.
12195  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: February 16, 2016, 02:58:20 PM

That is indeed very good. I think it is a good moment to buy Bitcoins now, because the price is very low now. And if you buy it now then you can get some profit later maybe.
But there is a chance that you can lose all you money. Because the value can fall too. And then you dont have money.

Then you are not a type of wise trader and just waiting for the price increase.

There is a so called minimizing the loss. How come you will allow your funds to be value depleted when there is big havoc that will happen.
12196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: February 16, 2016, 02:55:06 PM
Will the bitcoin will worth later or not? Whatever the answer it's really wise and a good way if one will do the holding the bitcoin thing while at the same time accumulating some more.

No one knows the exact scenario in the future so why ourselves our the one who found out the answer for this.

Many Bitcoin's users are holding their coins nowadays because it's predicted that the Bitcoin's price will increase soon and especially after the next halving, so i think yes it's not bad idea and could be profitable

The prediction really gaining some believers. That will be the reason of the price increase and not the result of halving.

If the result of rumors of halving will become true then with some rumors build before halving, definitely it will really make the price really goes up.
12197  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: February 16, 2016, 02:52:26 PM
Why buy a car with bitcoin.

Didn't you know that 100btc value of car can be much more value in the future. I will choose to buy a car with fiat rather than bitcoin.

Let's make an example here in PH:

Toyota Vios = Price is around Php 750,000 or BTC39 (as of the current exchange rate)

If you pay with bitcoin that's a smooth BTC39.

Weeks later the bitcoin price boost for up to $50 giving your BTC39 now worth  (do the math lol).

Yes me too. I want to purchase house or something with fiat. So it's wiser if you will convert your bitcoin to fiat rather than pay it directly with bitcoin. Bitcoin price volatility are different in fiat currency in terms of price move.
12198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2016, 02:22:39 PM

i think gambling and trading its same. the different is risk by trading more small. but i think if you haven't skill trading, dont try it. it will make you lost

No it's not as gambling (the usual gambling type in gambling section), can't take you in the long run unlike trading where profits is possible until there is an exchange site existed.

Both are risky but in trading, the risk here is worth to try.

And to the last part of your post, do you think those succesfull traders today started with already trading skills? Of course not. How come your trading skills will developed if you don't know the experience of doing trades. So get into the actual scene to gain more experience.
12199  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2016, 02:18:03 PM
If you see some people be happy because see the chart of price bitcoin right now. you will know the reason, of why we have bitcoin Cheesy

You mean holding the bitcoins for the price rising of course. I think that's profitable idea nowadays just because we expect the Bitcoin's price will increase soon especially after the next halving

Well I can't see the halving thing will boost the price but all the speculation rotating about that event will trigerred the pump rate.

If all will follow the speculation of price increase after halving, many will do such masive buy to take part of the event and that kind of action will lead to price increase.
12200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 16, 2016, 11:09:18 AM
My biggest problem is that the bitcoin has a bad name because of all the media that has said things about the bitcoin.
I also do not like that people get hacked for their wallets.

So what are you noticed now after hearing some "bad" image in bitcoin? Does it heavily affected some bitcoin users? Let's say to this forum. Does it decrease the morale of a person?

That is not a problem mate. That is usual because bitcoin is money. So whatever bad image that can connect to money also applied to bitcoin or any financial source.

About hacking the wallet thing, well that's is really not a problem too because after all you are the one who can make it secured, at least.
