In the past few days I've noticed that the quantity of onions I'm getting through staking has increased considerably. Did it happen also to others? Anyone has an explanation? I'm not complaining of course, but I'd be curious to understand the reasons...
You using new wallet? Because I read about new wallet updates, also network update and so on may be the reason. I'm also getting much more and much faster Darn, I need to update the wallet! But I'm a bit of a chicken, I'm afraid that it will stop working on my laptop which is 5 years old and it's been through a lot. I've backed up my .dat file of course (multiple times) and my private key. It's an irrational fear I have still the old wallet, didn't update it either yet, and the increased inflow of staked onions is arriving all the same But if others are having the same experience the reason shouldn't be just an increase of luck, I guess. But I remember days when I was getting nothing at all in past... and now many onions a day - very strange. I am afraid to close the wallet and to interrupt what could possibly be good luck though Well, obviously if you have more Onions now than before, your weight has increased and you get Onions faster than before. And I imagine you have more Onions now than before Sadly, my laptop can't handle being on all the time so I leave it on for like a day or two and then turn it off for the night, then on again. I'm sure that disrupts the staking process but I can't do anything for the moment until I buy something cheap to stake all the time

DeepOnion prices will crash once the airdrops are over. Right now, people aren't selling because it will disqualify them from future airdrops but once there are no more airdrops, it will be a dumping spree. I wouldn't buy DeepOnions as an investment but it is a good for those who are in the airdrop. I would cash out most of my earnings one round before the last airdrop to be safe.
This is not accurate since you are allowed to sell as many coins as you wish. Selling does not disqualify you. You only need 50 coins in your wallet. Given the momentary overall price dump this is not that much money... As everyone can see, I do support DO and I think the coin and project is going to be a very successful even after the airdrop, HOWEVER I also believe Monero as an old dog is atm one of the best coins (despite the bad press) Ok. It looks like they have updated the rules. https://deeponion.org/airdrop.html It use to be that you must hold at least 90% of your DeepOnion coins. I guess after they modified the rules, that is why the price has been declining. I still wouldn't buy this coin and it's only good for those who get them free. Man, get your facts straight, please. Otherwise you seem ridiculous. The 90% rule was removed even before I joined the project, which was back in November. Back then DeepOnion's price was not more than $2. Now it's $6-$7. What decline are you talking about? Sure, we didn't keep our ATH price but which coin is up all the time? Look around you. 99% of the altcoins are in red and the 1% that isn't has recently introduced one feature or another which has created hype and upped the price. The only way the airdrop is affecting the price is by keeping it low for the moment. I advise you to buy now because after the airdrops end you won't afford too many Onions.

DeepOnion would be my pick. I believe it will be even more popular after the airdrops are over and people will be investing more in it. What's more, by then a lot of new features will have been introduced to the project, wallets for Android and iOS will have probably been released (the developers have already shown us a sneak peek for the Android wallet and it's beautiful) and DeepOnion will have VoteCentral, where DeepOnion holders will be able to suggest and vote on matters that concern the community.

Just bought some swag from https://deeponion.shop/ could not believe how easy it was to pay with my freshly minted ONION's from a stake! I can recommend it for all those who are yet to try it. I checked the updates shop. Lots of good stuff to order there. My problem is that I don't know what to buy first

πηγα να γραφτω στην leupay και ξαφνιαστικα ολιγον τι στα ζητανε ολα!!! και φυσικα και το αφμ σου δεν γραφτηκα... Δηλαδή περίμενες να λάβεις iban σε ευρωπαϊκή τράπεζα και να μη δώσεις τα πάντα; Και επειδή κάποιοι νομίζουν ότι η Leupay δεν στέλνει όλα τα στοιχεία και τις κινήσεις του λογαριασμού, από πέρυσι έχει ανακοινώσει ότι κανονικά και με το νόμο τα γνωστοποιεί όλα... Η έδρα είναι μεν στη Βουλγαρία , αλλά είναι κάτι σαν offshore στην Μεγάλη Βρετανία με τράπεζα Λουξεμβούργου νομίζω. Και όμως ναι, έκανα εγγραφή σε μία παρόμοια τράπεζα, έγινε η επιβεβαίωση μου, μετά από λίγο κόπο βέβαια, και μέχρι τώρα περι φορολογικών... δεν έχω δώσει κάτι. Όταν μου έρθει η κάρτα δε ξέρω αν θα ζητηθεί τότε κάτι. Πάντως iban εκδόθηκε κανονικά Μένει να στείλω χρήμα και η κάρτα Σε ποια αν επιτρέπεται και πού εδρεύει εάν γνωρίζεις φυσικά;

Getting excited about the upcoming DeepOnion Android wallet. Will sell my iPhone x to get an android phone so I can use it. Haha its good reason to get a new phone. And the android vs iOS wars continue But this time, android has the edge because of the onion wallet. Good luck hope deeponion will do an ios wallet also, otherwise I'd sell my iphone and get an android phone too. I like less and less iphone now. There will be an iOS wallet in the future, it's on DeepOnion's roadmap.

Great live stream by TheMonkii yesterday! A lot of questions were answered and people had a good time. Also, lots of prizes. I hope everyone watched it!

Wow, the new Windows wallet looks amazing! Now that this week's airdrop is over, I will download it.

One more successful airdrop is done, fellas. I got my cut as usual To everyone who hasn't registered for the airdrop yet, what are you waiting for? Onions are falling from the sky and you're holding an umbrella!

Does anybody can explain that big crack price ? I obserf onion and cant understound . We go les 100% in fiew days why ? We have rly big comuniti good network and coin but price dump that much why ?
Are you sure about your observational skills? To take it from the start, are you sure about your math? If DeepOnion had dropped less than 100% we would be talking about negative value, as any price dropping by 100% is zero. What we have witnessed is DeepOnion going from about $2 in November to $19 in January. If you know math, that's a 950% rise in value. Then, from $19 in basically followed Bitcoin's drop, but held a lot of its value which many altcoins failed to do. Today it's at $9. If you were to calculate the drop from its all-time high, it would be a percentage close to 50% loss in value. However, I don't think we should forget that this coin was at $2 in late November. Which is why I think of it as a 450% rise in value from November. Let's not spread FUD here. DeepOnion is relatively new and is doing great at the moment, the name is starting to spread among the crypto world and people are getting jealous, which you can see a lot in bitcointalk. People wish they had a community like ours, they wish they could implement DeepOnion's marketing strategy but they can't. We will go forward and make ourselves known. There's no time like the present to invest in this coin.

What about our activity points? I thought I understood correctly that the merit points and the activity points would both be needed for ranking up but my activity points haven't moved since the announcement of the merit system. So do we only need the merit points after all?
Your activity points only ever increase by max 14 activity points every 14 days. Today is not an activity increase day AFAIK. You need to work on both activity and merit to rank up (although I guess hardly anyone will come in short activity. It’s the merit that slows down leveling) Next activity update is at 1/30/2018 19:20:00 GMT There is a spreadsheet with the next activity update dates: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit#gid=1012758442Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0Thanks for both your replies. I knew all this stuff but the last reply prompted me to check my posts and the dates I've written them and looks like I've missed two activity cycles which was what was making my calculations off. I thought my maximum activity should be +28 from my activity points now so I was perplexed as to why my posts had stopped adding up.

Wow, lucky! He would be even luckier if he invested in DeepOnion now. I believe it's the right time for an investment, due to the fact that many features are about to be introduced in the first quarter of 2018, like the android wallet which will be followed by the iOS wallet later. And let's not forget that VoteCentral is also coming soon. Such features are bound to make people excited about DeepOnion and I predict its price will rise in the following months.

I saw on DeepOnion.org that jr. members were discontinued and signatures were broken. But everything is still good here at bitcointalk.
That's misinformation. Junior members can't have links in their signatures anymore. The problem starts with bitcointalk, not the DeepOnion forum. Signatures are, indeed, broken in the sense that the links they contain aren't there anymore. As it is now, we don't know if the junior members here will have a problem with the airdrop. That's all speculation at this point. I know that the heads of DeepOnion will want to give junior members a solution about this. No one wants them to miss any airdrops. I edited my original post to make it more clear as below: I saw on DeepOnion.org that jr. members were discontinued and signatures were broken. But everything is still good here at bitcointalk. EDIT: A user in the DeepOnion.org Community forum posted that he was a jr. member and had no signature. This situation needs to be cleared up. You can see on the previous page of this thread (page 191) how a junior member's signature looks like now. Nothing else has changed, from what I can tell. There's just not any kind of link you can click on. I'm not sure how this will affect junior members as far as this airdrop is concerned.

Is it necessary to update my signature to receive the airdrop ? If I update my signature right now, will I be able to receive the next airdrop (considering I have done all my due diligence) ? Will deepOnions change name one day ? Lots of questions ^^sorry guys, I'm a noob... :/ Why would you want DeepOnion to change its name? DeepOnion got its name from The Onion Router, more known as Tor, which what DeepOnion uses to make its transactions anonymous. It's a good name, people just don't get it. As for the airdrop, I hope you know that placing the signature is not the only rule to receive the airdrop. You can find a list of requirements here https://deeponion.org/airdrop.html

That's too bad for junior members. I'm not one myself as everyone can see but I think the bitcointalk mods or whoever thought of this system should have taken into account that this is practically a demotion, regardless of whether they get to keep their title.
justice can't be assessed only for the benefit of a particular group. these changes have solid motives. I don't think many junior members will be in the mood to see the bigger picture when they can't participate in pretty basic signature bounties like the one held by DeepOnion. Just saying

the price is still fantastic to buy, its is very very undervalued by now, with the coming news the Onions will raise very fast, i feel good sensation.
I AM AGREING WITH YOU, THE PRICE WILL NOT STAY IN $ 10 WILL INCREASE UP TO $ 20 OR $ 30 IN A FEW WEEKS, THE BEST TO BUY NOW MORE BACKGROUND MORE GAINS IN A LOT OF TIME, EVERY AC THE RESULT OF GOOD WORK THAT DEEPONION DOES. I think that time is running out, it is going to go over $10 soon and then continue the upwards trend. This week is going to be the last week for cheap onions, in fact it will probably be the last day. A number of alts are up including onions so it could be pump time I see it too. We're really close to reaching $10 again at the moment. Let's see that Onion rise baby
