I agree with Cube here. I am anti-death penalty,

Do you believe pedophiles can be reformed?
What the hell does this have to do with anything? You know they don't execute people for pedophilia right?

But there are some criminals that can never be reformed
Life in prison would be the solution here if you are against the death penalty.

Who's gonna pay for that? Some of those bastards live up to their high nineties
If prisons weren't 70% filled with nonviolent drug offenders, funding wouldn't be an issue.

This is powerful. I think the figure is close to 58% but it could well be 70% and exceed to the mid nineties before the US wakes up and realizes, only then, it will be too late.

There are more black people locked up today than were slaves
Huffington Post

It's pretty funny how the police won't touch armed violent crime in black neighborhoods but would absolutely perform blatant violations of the Fourth Amendment on minorities by stating the "probable cause" as "smelling marijuana". I mean, if they really cared about their safety, they could start with cleaning up DC.

That's true. The government holds all the necessary technology to hunt you through your phone. Even when the SIM is removed.

Thanks, Google!

What's the topic?  "This is ridiculous"  ??

"US carriers reportedly rejected anti-theft 'kill switch' in Samsung phones"

"Anti-theft insurance profits may trump consumer protection"

Some women like to be aggresively 'taken' though. This proves to them you're an alpha male and worth being submissive to, and some even openly hate when you're nice to them or say caressing words.

Sex without consent is rape, and women don't enjoy it.

This is my wife's rape whistle.

Excellent! Cheesy

It takes six years to learn the law but only six months to be handed a badge and a gun to enforce it
This is why there are checks and balances that prevent the police from giving sentences to people that allegedly break the law.

Actually, there aren't. You can get charged for obstruction of justice for merely observing a police officer and documenting the scenario (your first amendment right)
You can get charged with any crime for any reason at all, however it is up to the courts to determine if a law has actually been broken. Obstruction of justice and resisting arrest are two very common crimes for people to be charged with however they are also crimes that are rarely prosecuted and have a very low conviction rate

It's innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent. Cops shouldn't be allowed to give false tickets.

Yep, pretty sure the primary stereotype is drugs not prostitutes...

Drugs are bad. Except for the ones given to us by the state.

Don't misunderstand my statement guys. I said human DNA because I was trying to discuss whether it can be considered as an "extraordinary claim"

That's why most cops can't even recite the law they claim you have broken and end up like the  stuttering fucks they are

There are plenty of videos online of cops arresting people for things that are not even illegal and getting into arguments when they occasionally do encounter a lawyer or a citizen who knows the law they usually back down or make a false accusation to save face...

They don't stutter, they just beat you up and throw you in the car

Not when they know they're being recorded they don't Smiley

Then they smash your camera and then beat you up and throw you in the car, then proceed to shoot your dog

1235  Other / Politics & Society / The new president on: November 09, 2014, 09:18:04 PM
The results are in, out of 100,000 people, about five people voted for me, and two other guys voted for artifically resurrected Stalin

It's quite obvious that the majority of you CHOSE to vote me in

Therefore, I am the new president.

Here are my policies:

== Abortion ==

Abortion is okay, as long as it is fully funded by your taxes. All sex is rape, and rape leads to abortions, therefore, since men cause 101.2% of all rapes, there needs to be a rape tax Voluntary monetary exchange for non-consentual sexual intercourse.

Don't worry, it's perfectly voluntary, as long as you pay.

== Gay marriage ==

Gay marriage is fine too, as long as all marriages are documented by the state. For your safety, you need to tell me The Department of Marriage Equality who you're married to, so we can tax both of you accordingly.

Just don't marry an undocumented immigrant, because that would make you a terrorist.

== Foreign policy ==

For your safety, we need to declare war on all the Middle East all oil rich Middle Eastern nations. After you go to war, you will be awarded with PTSD and homelessness.

There is a lot to be discussed, but I unfortunately cannot discuss it because we are living in rape culture.

This is really scary, they are basically saying you cannot help people that cannot survive on their own.

How do you know these people cannot survive on their own?  What if they are just lazy, like dank?  If a city has provided services to a person for a couple years and they are able to work but unwilling, why should the city keep paying for those services?

Check your privilege

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" - Carl Sagan.

I think the claim towards the existence of an all-powerful super-being qualifies as extraordinary.

What about human DNA?
1239  Other / Off-topic / Re: Iphone or Samsung on: November 09, 2014, 08:38:42 PM
You have to pay $800 to be able to develop apps for iOS, that's why the apps are like a hundred bucks each
1240  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This is ridiculous on: November 09, 2014, 08:37:18 PM
Is there encryption technology that could easily be built right into all cellphones so that all calls would be scrambled? This would make all phone calls not viewable or audio available except to the recipient phone... like a general phone PGP or GPG.

Smiley

Now you are thinking correctly.

PGP still depending the where you store it. If you let Apple manage all that information, it is not that much different than what security certificates do these day.

This, this, and this.

Just read an article about it the other day. Why do we pretend to be outraged over the Snapchat data leaks when the NSA and corporations like Apple do the same thing with your data? (careless storage)
