1221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs doubled every year since 2014 on: February 14, 2019, 11:13:31 PM
Hopefully, this ATMs will make those who are not familiar with Bitcoins become familiar and interested with Bitcoins. Another thing is this ATMs will help those who have difficulty in finding local sellers of Bitcoin and don't trust anyone (person to person) in the net selling Bitcoins. I hope those who installed ATMs would consider installing ATMs in every City to make it more convenient to us Bitcoin users to have access to it.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in Sports Betting on: February 14, 2019, 03:36:18 AM
I'm thinking of the using this strategy for those NBA teams that are going through a loosing streak like example is the Los Angeles Lakers who is now on a 2 game loosing streak or maybe the Miami Heat which is on a 3 game loosing streak. I'm thinking of placing a bet on their next game. I noticed the stats of New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns, zero wins in the last 10 games.
1223  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Keep Your Bitcoins In A Bank on: February 14, 2019, 03:21:55 AM
If you want to store your Bitcoins in a Bank, buy a Ledger Nano S or a Trezor, store your Bitcoins in any of them, go to your favorite Bank, ask for a safety deposit box (you can get the smallest one if you like), sign the lease contract and leave your Trezor or Ledger Nano S there and you are done, Bank wont even think that you just stored a digital asset inside their premises. However, there are Banks that requires safety deposit box users to have an account with them with a minimum average daily balance. Rental fee for box with the size of  5”x5”x24” is just 0.005360BTC at current BTC price of 1BTC is to $3,574 USD.
1224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: February 14, 2019, 03:11:57 AM

There's an article that says he (Floyd) earned an additonal $1 Million USD as a Bonus on that fight with Tenshin. It was also reported that he is now more interested with exhibition matches because he earns more from it compared to boxing. He claims that there was an offer for another exhibition match and offer is $80 Million USD. If this exhibition match offers continues, I guess the Mayweather and Pacquiao 2 fight is in limbo.

Source:https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/02/13/19/no-more-pacquiao-floyd-claims-hes-being-offered-80m-for-an-exhibition

And Floyd saw how Pacquaio still performing at the current phase. Didn't want to put the record at stake aside from the money thing.

And with that luxurious rewards coming to him on a future exhibition match, no way he will pursue the rematch.

Floyd doesn't listen on what fans what to see. Maybe if the rewards, for let's say 70/30 that will trigger him to fight MP on rematch. But that was insane! Manny's camp should not be aggressive on the deal and let Floyd pushed on it. Way better not to do rematch than going below with stake prizes.
It is quite clear that he is not in for the love of the sport or boxing, he is there just for the money and money alone. If he is for the love, passion and for the boxing fans, he will give it to them since he will be paid anyway. But accepting easy fights so that he get paid more like exhibition matches and sparring matches like the one with Tenshin and avoiding fights that boxing fans would love to see, its clear as crystal, its more on the money not the sport.
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: February 13, 2019, 03:43:42 PM

There are reports that Floyd did make $9 million in that fight against Tenshin. It might be a lot of money for him, but its a easy one.

Well, I still holding that the two will eventually fight because of this video https://www.instagram.com/p/BnvdWOphIoe/?taken-by=floydmayweather

Too tempting for Floyd to pass this one, 9 figure per day according to him.  Grin

1226  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN? on: February 13, 2019, 03:30:29 PM
If I have idle funds just sitting in my savings account I would buy more Bitcoins. Even if there's no bull run this year or next year, the opportunity to earn at least 1% is there. I would say its better than having a bull run. I will not sit there and look at my BTC wallet waiting for any bull run to happen. Trading is the key to increase your holdings.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep the BitCoins Safe? on: February 13, 2019, 09:04:42 AM
If you plan to keep or hold Bitcoins for a long period of time and you have no plans of spending them from time to time as well, its better to invest in hardwares like Trezor and Ledger Nano. Keeping funds in exchanges is a good idea only if you plan to buy coins in the near future. That's a lot of inconvenience if you move your coins from your hardware wallet to your exchange from time to time to buy coins and opportunity might not be there anymore by the time the coins is available in your exchange wallet.

What are the main functions of the Bitsler API?

What would it be used for?

Anybody?
5 days ago question but still no response better ask to them on any other alternative way, otherwise I do not think you will get an answer.

Not exactly great when you have to wait that long for a reply to a question. As you said, it was 5 days.
It is neither great nor good but as here no response by 5 days there is no other alternative way except contact with them in another way.

I think the question raised is already answered and JollyGood is contented with the reply and the link given to him. Below is thread and the response of JollyGood.

Oh sorry, I forgot to check this thread and answer your questions (still it's not my duty but if I can, I'll help you).
If you ar in a hurry, I think it will be better to check and ask questions on bitsler's forum. Such questions should be asked here: https://forum.bitsler.com/category/view/bfdc8b040d/ask-our-staff
Profit comes from 1% house edge, win/loses. They have a huge traffic, you can see their global alexa rank in 62K. Combination of all of these makes them to offer promotions and keep profits.

Thank you for the explanation.

Some excellent stats there, Bitsler has a great future.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This person made $500,000 with gambling and lost it all within 60 seconds! on: February 13, 2019, 07:43:28 AM
You can be rich, I'm sure with that as there are people who won in lottery that has already change their lives now.
It's just stopping at the right time and enjoy your winnings, the appropriate worlds to call it is we loss in the long run, or there are only few
winners in the gambling because although hard to win, but it's not impossible to win.

We can still stay positive, sports gambling can give us a long term profit, your story is only focus on losers, and I think you will have a hard time
a story from winners because they'll not share, they want keep their success on their own.
Its very seldom that you will hear a story of a lottery winner who is a 1st time buyer of a ticket and won the jackpot. Most lottery players buy tickets on a weekly basis and they already have a number in mind. So question is how much did they spend already in buying tickets before winning the jackpot. And, you'll be surprised to know that only a few who won lottery was able to maintain their status, some of them go back to buying tickets again after a few months of spending spree.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 234: Whittaker vs Gastelum Prediction and Info Thread on: February 12, 2019, 09:17:27 AM
While watching Adesanya vs Silva fight, I can't stop myself from thinking that Adesanya's fighting skills is like Silva's when Silva is still in his prime. There was even a meme about Adesanya kicking Silva but missed and Silva kicking Adesanya and missed as well. Looking forward for another fight of Adesanya. This guy have a long way to go.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: February 12, 2019, 03:52:18 AM
Interesting article and press release by Unionbank. They (Unionbank) know that they are not the first one who launched a Bitcoin ATM in the Philippines. First Bitcoin ATM in the Philippines is located at Sunette towers near P.Burgos street, that's why in their press release they clarified that their ATM is compliant with the rules set by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. I hope they set up that ATM in Quezon City not in Makati since there's one there already.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: February 12, 2019, 03:38:19 AM
There are people who says they won a lot in gambling and they may have posted the amount they won but prior to winning, thousands and perhaps millions, they may have lost thousands and perhaps millions as well. For me, I don't keep track on how much I win or how much I  lost already. My only goal is to keep me entertained and not to go beyond my spending limits in gambling.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on ESPN 1: Ngannou vs Velasquez Prediction and Info Thread on: February 12, 2019, 03:28:35 AM
From 2008 to 2010, Cain Velasquez is unstoppable, from Kongo, Noguiera to Lesnar, he beat them all until he faced Dos Santos in 2011 and it took 1 year to get back to Dos Santos and claim a win. He beat Dos Santos twice. However, Cain Velasquez has been out of the octagon since 2016. His last fight with Browne ended in a 1st round TKO. I don't know if he is still as dangerous as he is back when he is unstoppable 2008 to 2010 and last 2016. He should have  at least 1 or 2 fights ahead of this big event to condition his body after a 2 years of sabbatical.
1235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Escrow be a guarantee? on: February 11, 2019, 09:42:16 AM
Depends on who will be the escrow. First question is who is the escrow, is he/she in anyway related to any of the developers or owner of the project. There was an issue here before about "self escrow", the seller of the item is the escrow by using another account and this is also possible on those projects since its easy to grab someone else's picture and create a new name and that scenario is not far from happening.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: February 11, 2019, 09:36:47 AM
It's still the traders fault, regardless of the reason why the price suddenly dropped. No one will hit the Buy or Sell button but you. So its your decision, its your choice and you should take the blame if you loss hundreds, thousands or perhaps millions in trading. You don't blame the news as well, its the people who will react on the news and not the other way around.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T. Woodley vs K. Usman – 02/03/2019 on: February 11, 2019, 04:29:32 AM
Aside from Woodley vs Usman fight. Another notable fight under UFC 235 is the debut of Ben Askren. This guy has a great record of 18-0-0. At UFC 235 he will be up against Robbie Lawler. I have watched Ben Askren's fight in OneFC and this guy will surely make a name in UFC. Don't forget the Main Event of UFC 235 is Jon Jones vs Anthony Smith.
1238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: February 08, 2019, 07:33:23 AM
Kids shouldn’t go to school and learn the same repetitive education that trained them to be slave, like lawyers, accountant, doctor, they should be earning their own bitcoin too.
While I agree that kids nowadays should know and learn how to earn money and not just to save. When they start saving money $1/day is $365/year its plain simple, but if they learn how to earn, their initial capital of $10 can earn more than just $1/day. However, teaching them how to earn at a young age is something that we need to think about. In my opinion, let them enjoy their childhood first and when the right time comes then let then learn about business, Blockchain, Bitcoin and trading.

Childhood only comes once in our life so lets not take that away from them. I know some of you when you are stressed you think that you are just kid and your only problem is when do you get your next allowance from your parents or maybe what time can you go out and play.

1240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find a mentor for trading on: February 07, 2019, 11:57:44 PM
How do I find a mentor that has lots of experience doing this stuff?

Online and also in person. Wink

Somebody who knows what they are doing for a long time now.
Dont look for someone who want you to pay them to give you an advise. Its not you who will, but them for giving something that is not 100% guarantee that will make you rich or earn in trades. Instead INVEST in reading books about trading, join group sessions attend seminars that can help you learn more about how to read charts and trends. In other words, before you invest in something else, invest in your self first through learning.
