1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York Times identifies Nick Szabo as Satoshi Nakamoto on: May 16, 2015, 06:32:22 AM
This can't be Satoshi.
The guy who started this technology to anonymize everything won't let anyone reveal himself.
1224  Economy / Economics / Re: In concept, is bitcoin more currency or payments system? on: May 16, 2015, 06:25:30 AM
We should consider it more as a share which when hold by someone, is owned by him only and no one else has any grasp on it.
I would rather consider it as a commodity than a currency.
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the Headlines: The Chicken and Egg Debate on: May 16, 2015, 06:22:19 AM
Such debate is totally nonsense, it's not the relationship like chicken and eggs. Blockchain and bitcoin can't be separated.

Blockchain is a technology and can easily be separated and used for some other purposes too.
I have seen some companies adopting blockchain itself rather than going for Bitcoins.

Any announcement thread for the same altcoin you talking about?
Would like to see if I can invest, share some more specs, and btw, how's the sign-up reward redeemable?
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Buy Bitcoins Completely Anonymous on: May 12, 2015, 02:39:29 PM
you hardly to keep anonymous when you buy bitcoin in a exchange. but you can use some sky to keep you coin anonymous. For example, you can buy a altercoin in a exchange, and then sell it in another exchange for bitcoin .
I think you also need your name and a valid ID because how they will know if you are that person who buy or sell that coins? I think theres no way to buy or sell a bitcoin anonymously.

There are, but you need to be silent on your end and the other side must also be ready for the same, try out with an escrow, but in the end, if it comes to security, it needs something and with that, I mean to say higher fees.

I am trying to get to the site but it says: Error 404: Connection Timed Out!
Is it just me or someone's having the same problems?

EDIT: Tried refreshing and now working fine.
1229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Buy Bitcoins Completely Anonymous on: May 12, 2015, 11:51:56 AM
I think you might use VPN services in order to do that, simple as that.
And you can then use any websites which doesn't ask for any of your personal details, but do remember, that when you go through such sites, they might charge you a little higher than the ones which ask for it.

1231  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: May 10, 2015, 02:13:21 PM
Can someone explain me how this works?

sure , will do

I mean, I had been playing at DaDice and am now at level 5, according to which I should get 1250 satoshis everytime from faucet

Yes you will but if you claim it frequently each time the amount will be lower than what you should get. Give it some break before claiming the next one and you will get the full 1250 satoshis amount

Please let me know what am I doing wrong, I had been playing with 1 satoshis autobets with 1.0102 payout rate

It is allowed to play with this strategy to gather up exp points and there is nothing wrong with doing this

Why am I not getting the faucet according to my level? Is it just for one time?

It is not for 1 time, read this posts and tell me if you still havent get it yet

how about you, guys?

Around 3 seconds/roll, well no complain here since it is because of my bad connection

Thanks a lot for such a detailed explanation.
You said that I should give it some break before claiming the next one and will get the full 1250 satoshis amount, but can you mention that for how much time (break) shall I wait to get it back?

Can someone explain me how this works?
I mean, I had been playing at DaDice and am now at level 5, according to which I should get 1250 satoshis everytime from faucet whenever I claim, but every other time that I try to claim the faucet after claiming the "level-crossed" faucet for the first time, I only get 250 satoshis and not the amount I should get for my level.

Please let me know what am I doing wrong, I had been playing with 1 satoshis autobets with 1.0102 payout rate, did I do anything wrong somewhere here? Why am I not getting the faucet according to my level? Is it just for one time?

You should definitely check out some great tipsters out there giving some free tips, follow them and profit.
Check the Gambling section of the forum itself and you will find many good tipsters that you might want to try out.

You are right.
Sportsbook gambling can be profitable if you 'spot' some trend.
Dice gambling is based on luck.

Not just limited to that, but at sites like Directbet.eu, you can even bet on Sports with best odds available till last minute during live matches, which gives you a chance on earning some very good %s on completely predictable matches which you can't get from dice, as dice needs luck.

Can someone please explain me about the concept of the coin and the reason for someone to invest in this?

When payout, when stats, when blockchain... we can!

Are you out of your mind or what?
What kind of answer was that?
1235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Surges Higher (& Higher) on: May 09, 2015, 11:49:00 AM
Whether it goes higher or not, but we are definitely not going down below $200 which beartrolls were barking all the time, and that's making every Bull feel proud considering the current situation.

100 MILLIONTH ROLL BOUNTY IN SIGHT!!!!

We are within hailing distance now of 97 million rolls!
At the dawn of a new day the bounty is now sitting at 0.7 BTC. If it still goes into tomorrow though the bounty will drop by another 0.025 BTC.
You can keep it higher!
Keep Rolllin'!

Will that bounty be claimed by a single person?
Why not distribute this bounty into 5-10 people for everyone to have a fair chance to win at least something in the end?

Hey mate. A potentially good idea yes. But at the same time it eliminates the friendly competition aspect and ends up like schools now where you get a prize just for being in the area. SOrt of loses the point if you ask me. And we have a lively and friendly chat so the winner will be roundly congratulated as well

I just wanted whether it could get distributed in people in a descending manner, so that everyone wins instead of just one as the bounty is big enough to get distributed.
Thanks for consideration, though. Smiley

Tried to get through the specs but can't get enough of it.
Can someone please explain me about the concept of the coin and the reason for someone to invest in this?
Is this coin really backed by Gold?
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do so many people ride their losses? on: May 09, 2015, 11:40:34 AM
There have been coins which, according to me, have seen larger pumps and then dumped hard, but patience pays off if you can hold, as sometimes, even those hard dumped coins get pumped sometimes ahead after few months based on the interest of traders and the coin in talks.

That's where I disagree and where I think so many people lose money. Being "patient" and waiting for a pump is like playing roulette. The odds are long. Others patiently wait for a real recovery in the price of a coin. Why not cut your losses and get out when it becomes obvious that the price is going south. If the coin starts to recover, you can always get back in. By being "patient", we are losing money. Why not take that money and put it someplace productive?

That's why I said, there have been coins, but let me correct it for you, not all but a few coins were there and if you would have watched "CND", then you might have witnessed so many pumps happened to it within a specific time-range. By saying this, I am, by any means and in any case, not asking you to just wait and watch and try to get lucky. It's obviously your choice so you do what you can to cut your losses and get out of the game while you still can.

Try to use Chrome, Firefox or Comodo browser.Chrome is the best for luckybit.

Still the same with Chrome too.
Anyways, as soon as I get back home, I will install Opera & Safari and will try to open LB through the same, and will let you guys know what happens.
