What happened to POS?
Waves will have its own implementation of POS, its own transaction types also its own unique reputation system on the blockchain and many more things. Rewards will be distributed in form of fees, where above full nodes, all lite client end-users will be able to lease their balance and receive rewards also. What you see as of now is only first version of testnet. It is huge project. So above Waves token being the fuel of whole platform, there will be also incentives from the network itself. |

1) how many total waves are in circulation?
2) is the number of total waves fixed or will it increase (or decrease) over time?

wave = supernet ?
Waves is not clone of NXT or SuperNET, or anything else. Some concepts from many projects are enhanced and are inspiration. Waves team is building first production system on top of Scorex framework where Waves token will be the fuel of whole platform and all transactions happening there, from issuing the assets, through transfer, depositing and withdrawing other supported currencies on the platform. Focus is on custom asset creation, lite client, end-user, no blockchain download, decentralized exchange, asset-asset trading, fiat assets, working with payment providers from the start and being decentralized kickstarter at the same time. Waves will have own transaction types also. Other features and apps/plugins center will be appearing in meantime. |

I purchased some over half an hour ago but it still says unconfirmed in my blockchain account, is that normal/ Shall i come back later to check? It wasn't a very large amount so i thought by now it should show some confirmations. Also, the address that I sent to in my WAVES BACKOFFICE is different to that of the escrow on the front page, this is correct yes? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I am doing everything correctly before I proceed to purchase more over the coming days.

Hii devs, I would like to take part in the translation bounty by translating waves topic in Indian subforum. Can I do this, if so where I have to register?  You can start already, if the translation in specific language isn`t listed yet in the ann. The guy who translated this article in Filipino's (Philippines) just in for the bounty, it was directly from Google translate which doesnt make sense at all. I hope it can be revised into a readable version for my fellow countrymen to be more interested specially those who haven't tried ICO yet. All terms are in the ann. There is no separate document with other terms. It looks we launched first versions of testnet, block explorer and alpha gui too soon. Your question is more i guess, is Waves team capable of delivering ? Yes it is. |

Assets from other platforms will be able to migrate to the Waves blockchain. From NXT, Ethereum or other platforms(at start by burning supply and issuing it next on the Waves blockchain). Later, implemention of crosschain asset protocol will follow to enable two-way communication between different blockchains. What you mean is that the Waves platforms is similar to NXT and Ethereum ? You will be able to issue your assets on the Waves platform and burn the ones you have on your existing blockchains if you only wish and if it is a legit project/asset.
