I have a feeling that the antidote for Erling Halaand has been found. His goal ratio has reduced tremendously and I think he is becoming easier to mark right now.
Manchester City this season is weaker than last season I have said this before and every game I see their lapses especially in the defense.

If Manchester city hopes to win the UEFA champions league then they have to play better than this. They are used to the English premier language and have many team scared of them so they has still strong favorites but in the UCL it's very different.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 11, 2022, 08:28:23 PM
The World Cup is already very close now and we have seen some really controversial decisions, with that said guys I want us to talk about the world being hosted by Qatar and it being hosted at this time of year. We are all used to the World Cup kicking off around June when all club football must be on break but this year is an exception.

Former FIFA president has come to say that the decision of giving Qatar the host nation of the world was a mistake and from all that's happening I think it was more than just a mistake. There should be further probing.

Qatar is not a nation that gives total freedom to people and many footballing fans looking to have a good time are set to face so restriction In Qatar. What do you guys think about this so to start World Cup.
1223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Reminder: Treat Exchanges as Marketplaces on: November 11, 2022, 08:06:23 PM
OP is this post only about Bitcoin? Well in my own opinion it shouldn't come to think of it many Newbies but more altcoins that bitcoin.
So regardless of the coin you are buying I also support you do what the OP has said on his post. I think their are some exchange that try to offer users some freebies when they leave their coins on that exchange, it still are dangerous risk that is far more disastrous than any benefits the exchange may want to offer. Exchanges is a literally understandable and take it for what the word stands for and not and a double tasking application that you can also use as a wallet. Open a personal wallet is easy and keeping it safe is easy as well.
1224  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: November 11, 2022, 07:31:51 PM
Good evening house from our time zone, the election 2023 is drawing ever close and the more the election draw close the more the intentions of the candidates keep getting exposed. I have never seen a man that is in captivity and has a chance to liberate himself but for some unexplainable reason chooses to remain in captivity.

We don see how many debate don day go for the country and several time the APC and PDP candidates are either absent or sent representatives. We don see how elections for developed countries Dey go all candidates Dey present and explain why they should be president but in my countries old men are just feeling entitled that it's their turn and we that has all too lose and nothing to gain still want to support them, Abeg make we have a good thought the next suffering would be for another eight years.
Abeg you know the right candidate. Vote wisely for your sake and your loved ones .
1225  Economy / Economics / Re: US inflation rate drops to 7.7%, Wall Street surges , Bitcoin gains on: November 11, 2022, 07:10:38 PM
Recently I noticed the the US dollars just dropped and I could determine that by the fact that my local currency came up top against the dollar recently, this just shows that no currency is safe during this inflation period, if that be the case that's to say that even if you are Savin in crypto-currency stable coin there are big chance you may still be affected due to the fact that stablecoin are actually pegged to the United state dollars.

That's said with the inflation at its peak and the market not bright what are the most favorable crypto-currency escape from all this?
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance walks out of FTX bailout...Another Twitter scenario?? on: November 10, 2022, 08:02:47 PM

Will this issue be later rectified and his mind be changed or would he be forced to go ahead with the deal like Elon did?

Changpeng Zhao the ceo of Binance is a smart man and also has lots of smart people around him, i personally think he made a hasty decision the first time and after much consideration I believe they would back out off the FTX deal.

To be honest FTX doesn't draw much competition on binance and Changpeng Zhao can't possibly by out all rivals even if he wants to. I think mark Zuckerberg for example tried it and we can see how he has dropped in the Forbes list.

It's a big world and competition creates room for growth CZ should focus more on Binance and end this drama about FTX.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 10, 2022, 07:33:57 PM
It's official guys Arsenal isn't joking with the English Premier League this time around, the carabao cup (EFL) was played this past few days. And we saw even teams like Manchester City too it serious and fielded some of their big names. But Arteta is like a man on a mission and didn't feature must top guns in their game against Brighton.

Arsenal may have lost the game by 3:1 but gunners fan can take consolation from the fact that their coach isn't taking any chances in the league. It's been very long they last lifted the English Premier League and if they came going the same we they are going now they can be crowned kings of England.
1228  Economy / Speculation / Re: I hope this Bitcoin dip won't be deeper? on: November 10, 2022, 06:54:21 PM
Well then your friend is worst than you, and probably a Newbie, I am sure we would see him again when the bull market comes in, this has been the big mistake less experienced members keep making, the lose hope and run during the bear probably selling off at a loss and come back again during the bull and buying when the price is high.

Let it not surprise you that many people are actually praying for the dip and the drop in price is a dream come through for them, especially about Bitcoin, they always want to buy more at a cheaper rate, I think you should educate your friend on crypto-currency volatility.
1229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coins on an exchange, any exchange, are never safe on: November 09, 2022, 08:03:03 PM
One of the reason i can think of as to why people still let their coin be on an exchange is that they are ignorant. I have a friend who is new into Crypto-currency and still lacking some knowledge, he knows about bitcoin and how he can buy coin on exchanges like binance but still don't understand the dangers of leaving his coin on the exchange. He has lots of coins on his Binance account not only I told him about the dangers.

I think we can tell people about the dangers of leaving their coins on exchanges and by this we can help reduce such illiteracy.
1230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about forum discussion on: November 09, 2022, 06:14:47 PM
If we are honest with ourselves most post that get the reply such as (this post has been discussed here before) such post questions that gets this are of very low quality and are post many users thinks if the posters has checked the pinned messages or rules and important post or a very basic research they would have found the answers to their post.

I have seen some top quality post that has been discussed before but everyone was still cheerful to discuss on it. Everything about the forum can be found summarized in posts pinned on meta and also on this board make use of them.
1231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is why it's not a good idea to leave your coins on any exchange on: November 08, 2022, 07:51:13 PM
There are more reasons than this not to leave your coin on an exchange, you don't need to wait for two CEO's to have a heated beef before you actually know.

I have this ideology and that's until I confirm a coin is successfully in my wallet it's not mine, and having your coin in Exchanges like Binance e.t.c mean you can only see you own the coin but the exchange has more control over it than you, and when the exchange (which are always hot cakes for hackers) drops their guard at any point you also can be a victim.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 06, 2022, 08:20:34 PM
And again Liverpool beats another big team. I don't think they are out of the waters yet and can easily go into the next game and lose. Tottenham is also not convincing.
And the top spot still belongs to Arsenal, this team are playing like future champions, and that's winning at the end. Chelsea were very boring and lacked character. The new coach was probably a mistake, I don't think they have the luxury to keep him on seat, they actually have the players to deliver but lack a good coach to head the team.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana going Big??? on: November 06, 2022, 07:33:43 PM
Solana may have a bright future, but if anyone is like me I would be skeptical about their network, I understand that the Ethereum based network is quite expensive based on its transfer fee, but you can be sure of efficiency and trust, this are also important and to me more important than the transactions fee.

Solana is a developing project and is already gained a buzz, I think it's over stretching that buzz by having their own network. Every project in my own opinion should not have their own network.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 06, 2022, 07:18:59 PM
First not all really want to know the true identity of Satoshi some just want to make up their post count or just boredom.
I don't think I want to know the identity of a man who chooses not to be known. Who ever satoshi was(group or individual) he was definitely articulate and transparent. Bitcoin was so planned that everything lay down and not to even require the presence of the creator anymore.

I would be intrigued to see who this person was when ever the true identity is revealed, but I am not overly concerned about it.
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sports and entertainment industries could play a big role in Bitcoin adoption. on: November 06, 2022, 06:14:47 PM
I don't know if you have actually done research on this. Sport and music industry has already become part of the Crypto-currency.

Crypto-currency industries like Bitcasino, stake, LuckyBlock has already engaged the services of sport men and even artists for a mutual promotion. I think it has started yielding results because most of this sport men and artists has loyal fan base who would believe what those guys endorses.
1236  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: November 05, 2022, 06:43:23 PM
Many people are just sentimental to vote Obi to be more crypto friendly, I can neither take Tinubu nor Obi because I have never seen them during the CBN attack on bitcoin and other cryptocurrecies, but I saw Atiku during the time.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/441007-atiku-urges-reversal-of-cryptocurrency-policy.html

Please note: this does not indicate who I will vote for, but just my opinion about the person that could be more crypto friendly if he become the next president.

Igehhh, thanks for the stat, from there I saw about this poll.

I think you have a point here, I believe the country is in better hands if it's in the hands of Peter Obi than any other candidate available so far but with the CBN attack of crypto-currency as you have pointed out Peter Obi and Tinubu did not get involved while Atiku did. I admit this and this doesn't make Peter obi less or Atiku more.

And if we are to be honest the period of the CBN attack hit was maybe during the Time Peter obi choose to be low key and hasn't started nurturing his presidential aspirations but Atiku as we all know has all know had always wanted to be president.

1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 05, 2022, 06:29:19 PM
Halaand has score 18 goals in this short period in the English premier league and her has even matched Cristiano Ronaldo English premier league goal tally last season and Cristiano Ronaldo was Manchester United highest scorer.

Definitely Erling Halaand is different but I don't know if I am the only one noticing Manchester city are dropping form. Typical Manchester city would have put this game against Fulham to bed early.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: November 05, 2022, 06:17:59 PM
OP don't get me wrong, I think your point are great but the message wasn't driven home correctly. Many news out there can cause FOMO, FUD but the news would still be made.

Telling people not to believe the news they read can always have a dangerous  backlash. People can be adamant followers and don't know when to unlearn and learn. Definitely some news out there are helpful.

So I rather advice people to don't act on a news you aren't sure of and always first do your research to confirm.
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early Sign to Adopt Bitcoin by Nigerian Government on: November 05, 2022, 06:07:31 PM
Nigeria is trail blazing in the Africa Crypto-currency evolution and she is a source of inspiration to many other African countries. I would give the credit to the citizens of Nigeria who has not only massively adopted Bitcoin and crypto-currency in general but has also found ways to keep it going even when the government showed hate on it.

That said I think the news OP posted is another political propaganda from the current government in sit. Nigeria has her general elections February next year and the government who has been hard on crypto-currency comes up with this it's just to buy I over people.
1240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 04, 2022, 08:56:38 PM
It's Arsenal season definitely with the way the approach games and their mentality I can say Arteta's men are ready for the English Premier League. So much has really happened in this team and they have really proven their worth this season.

They are top of the table although closely followed by Manchester City they have been the most Inform team and they have a good chance in winning the league.
