1222  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable JayJuanGee in the Wall Observer thread on: August 28, 2023, 08:21:33 PM
Although the OP is written in an ironic tone.

Hmm, It happened many times with me as well even in the last week I got merit from him on the post done on 10th August and so on. Haha, another topic on the WO merit farming is disabling someone from distributing merit who engages with the discussions hmm I don't think so it's appropriate. Well on the WO I did start my journey on the forum with the support of JayJuanGee.

$27K 'max pain' Bitcoin price is ultimate buy-the-dip opportunity, says research
It may not happen, but a crash to $27,000 would be the chance for many investors to "go all in" on BTC.

Personally 27k looks like a dream to buy i can't see market going more in dip from 32k or 35k. Reason strong buying Order on these spots. Still its crypto we can say anything can happen.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/27k-max-pain-bitcoin-price-is-ultimate-buy-the-dip-opportunity-says-research

Well, that is not a bad take on matters, Hamza2424.

You realize that currently the 100-week moving average is at about $34.5k, and the 200-week moving average is at about $21,5k, so there could be dreamers to be expecting breaking below the 100-week moving average when we had not even broken below it last May/June when the BTC price had gotten down to $28.6k.. so it seems that if the BTC price did actually get below $28.6k, then it probably would not stop at $27k, but hey like you said, who knows?

__SNIP___

I will send you an smerit anyhow for pointing out a decent grain of skepticism about the Cointelegraph article, even though it does appear that you are spending a lot of your own forum efforts engaged in chasing bounties.. so a lot of guys do not like to send smerits to bounty chasers, which you seem to be engaged in such practices.

I was a newbie he even engaged me in a discussion and merited me, the very first merit from where I started exploring the forum and started my Bitcoin / Crypto journey forum learned a lot, made mistakes, and on the way to being a good student. I just want to mention that sometimes it brings really good outcomes  Grin Grin as me. I know how JJG reads the posts, how he comments, and how much time he spends and i really like that.

This can not be a solution for WO as in the other created topic by the nutildah I have seen some suggestions like SR+ standard and more actions like that. So merit farming it can be controlled by other ways beside restricting the sources.
1223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Save in Stable Coin Or Save in Local Currency? on: August 28, 2023, 08:01:44 PM
As a novice in crypto, I want to take enough time to learn more on how the market works before investing. But I'm really concerned on how to keep my money safe as I await the right time to invest.

Do you think it's better to save in stable coin like usdt or I should just keep the money in the bank?

Brother, it really depends on which local currency you are talking about because as you the USD or other stablecoins in the market are pegger one on with the fiat money so to decide whether you should keep your money in the bank as local or keep your money in the crypto custodial wallet as USDC or any other stablecoin whatever you like.

A factor that most of the seniors and other fellows are mentioning and my view as well it is what is the inflation rate of your currency, If the inflation rate in your country is higher than the stable coin pegged with fiat that you are choosing then you can have a better position in stable coin because it will decrease the inflation as well it can open new door of the crypto market where you can even make good profit by efficient trades as buying BTC on the start of month and selling on a higher price when you need the money it can happen in reverse as well some be careful.

But the point is if you are holding stable coins you should prefer at least Holding a particular portion in BTC, if you have some skills you can prefer some risky investment as well. If you choose stablecoins to avoid maximum inflation and after that, you hold the BTC portion that will not be called only your savings, or Holding it can be an indirect investment. In a specific time like now, this investment can make 50% or 60% profit as well in a few upcoming months.

Haha this is how journey starts from the inflation mininzation to the crypto investment and making something good.
1224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Platform to have multiple charts on the same screen on: August 28, 2023, 05:53:31 PM

What platforms do you use to have multiple charts on the same computer screen? so I don't have to visit each currency pair one by one.
Is there a free option?

Hmm, Decent topic At least it's not about copy trading haha, First of all as maximum of the fellows here are trained or you could say that newbies in trading I want to recommend you all stick to the single chart first as Pro-traders use such charts for the Quick trades and analysis. Most of the time people who use the multi-chart trading view trade in a shorter time frame.

Besides that, I think most of my fellows already answered the Op with better suggestions. I would recommend TradingView for that and Binance also offers the advanced Trading View interface as well as Kraken.
1225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to Crypto Volatility..??? on: August 28, 2023, 05:43:40 PM
On the shorter time frame, I can agree with you that the volatility seems like disappeared and the market looks stable, and in traders' emotions, it's like a boring timeline haha. The crypto market is fully out of track on the volatility At that point I think the market is more volatile as compared to history. A few days back I was reading a few glass node analyses and decreasing on-chain activity indicating the same thing.

I think we are feeling it like that can have another reason as the zone we are going through is always boring throughout the lifeline of Bitcoin this pressured accumulation zone. The maximum of the Bitcoin supply from the on-chain activity seems Illiquid and because the most of supply is on hold market is behaving like that, As soon as more liquid supply is in the market again we will explore the volatile market aspect.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Drives Crypto Prices? Is Crypto Really Being Adopted by Society? on: August 28, 2023, 05:17:00 PM
__SNIP__

Op, first of all, you are talking about the general term cryptocurrency so, while you are talking about cryptocurrency it covers the coins, tokens, and other aspects of the market We can say that this is still not getting global attention, for now, you need to be centered around the Bitcoin better we if you replace the points of discussion with the Bitcoin rather then the Cryptocurrency, otherwise you can move the topic to the Trading discussion or Altcoin where you can have a brief feedbacks related to the general term cryptocurrency.

For the points OP you are talking I can give a good answer from the Bitcoin perspective but as in above I had said you are using the term cryptocurrency so in cant be specific in my answer.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Electric Supply to Bitcoin Mining Operations in Laos on: August 28, 2023, 04:10:00 PM
EDL has declared a halt in providing power to cryptocurrency mining ventures in Laos. The majority of the country's electricity, sourced from hydropower plants, will no longer be supplied to these operations. In September 2021, the Laotian government granted permission to six companies for cryptocurrency trading and mining.

The Governor of EGAT said that if the drought in Laos becomes severe, hydropower plants in Laos will generate less electricity, reducing export capacity.

https://en.vietnamplus.vn/laos-stops-power-supply-to-cryptocurrency-mining-businesses/266967.vnp

What do you guys think about this?

Very well, I am not saying that the Miners should not be facilitated with cheap electricity, I'm just commenting on the policy by the ELD as they're taking export capacity and their own utility into account rather than an unnecessary load, Bitcoin is still hanging between the LEgal and Illegal tender so for now in the government policies we'll count it in the private load, where if a good dinner is spending a lot of money on the machinery by just having a few difficulties he can arrange the self-generated electricity. I am not familiar with the geographical conditions of Laos, my comment is general for all.

Sticking to the topic if the government is not ready to supply electricity for Bitcoin I think it directly doesn't mean that they trying to discourage BTC mining because Minner can have enough capital to produce electricity from Solar or start a private power plan at least I'm taking 10,000 TH/s in general. If they are discouraging the self-produced power so the case is different until they've allowed you the self-power mining you can mine BTC freely.

Another offtopic view

As for here in our country we produce the world's most expensive electricity even though we have better environmental resources, we have better hydropower opportunities, Solar but as for now our maximum plants are on Fuel, The Government is generating 56RS per unit of electricity after subsidies, providing the electricity to the consumers around 32RS 34RS per Unit on average and not costing taxes to the over users unit costs same for the 1000 unit consumers and 300 unit consumers.

Haha well, still people are paying...

1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is a tight slap to bitcoin haters on: August 27, 2023, 11:12:22 PM
I recently found this cool website

https://buybitcoinworldwide.com/bitcoin-is-dead/

It has listed 20 occasions when bitcoin was declared dead by leading publications in the past and every time bitcoin came back stronger. So , next time if some popular news website tells you that bitcoin is dead, do not trust it blindly. Bitcoin still has lot of scope for growth and adoption.

Hmm, Op I think many of the fellows know about this website, I am really curious about the numbers, as I know it is the fact that BTC has been many times called BTC is dead this reason that reason now this is the downfall of the Bitcoin dn that and bla blaa. The point is Op is giving a specific number on it.

Leaving it to the point of no discussion that Op just quoted a reference, moving onto what people belive, buddy these two years were very hard for the economies of the whole world and the local currencies of each and every country almost faced inflation of no control now people are getting realization that what is BTC and how it can be a good opportunity for them on collective mode and individual opportunity as well.
1232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FALLING FALLING! on: August 27, 2023, 10:47:24 PM
The most concerning Situation is BNB, The 206 Support is very near

I don't know why many people are concerned about the BNB as I was reading and going through the topics created in this section in back to back 2 topics and 1 dedicated topic on the BNB recovery went through my view. Assuming the most particular reason that Binance is in the hype of you can top news due to the cases and SEC, fuds etc etc.. So I can give a simple answer for the BNB and support and future recovery as far as Binance exists BNB will have the potential to stand alone to the position of the top 10.

Binance has issues in the USA but they have some legal licenses in other countries so nothing to worry about here, There is no centralized exchange support just a hope hitter for those who invested in the BNB I think they won't make mistakes again.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Appromixly how much time needs to recover BNB $310 price on: August 27, 2023, 08:58:54 PM

I have brought more than 4 BNB when it's price on around $307. after, that SEC call break the market. but, i'm still holding and i don't know it's future probility. so, it's dead or again it will recover?
afterall, how much it will take it to recover?

Binance is continuously the target of the SEC and the market is still suffering a confused situation like that I think by the end of September market will start showing some flow against such hypocrisy and making a way forward. in my view not only BNB there are also some other projects suffering similar kind of situations and sticking to the market is the only option we have.

So buddy be consistent and don lose hope Biance is on of the top crypto market against they will not die like that, offcource with the Bull there are great opportunities and potential with the BNB so be a good investor and wait paitently.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 Crypto and It's Targets for Next Bull Run on: August 27, 2023, 08:53:26 PM
All these targets are calculated using Fibonacci Retracement. Consider this a speculation, Thanks.

1. Bitcoin -  $173,805
2. Ethereum - $11,460
3. BNB - $1,190
4. XRP - $8.97
5. ADA - $12.37
6. DOGE - $0.96
7. Solana - $1,367
8. TRX - $0.15
9. MATIC - $7
10. LTC - $361

Quite Surprising, A few questions and a few my own thoughts, so coming up with the first is I am really surprised with the total valuation of the BTC and ETH to the ATH.. I know its a speculation well for these two I think we can give a loose hand but SOL how ? When ? I really don't think that SOL had enough potential to raise up to 1k..

Moving on to ADA I was expecting that for Matic that can be sure and even more, LTC fascinating LTC vs SOL I think LTC has enough potential to cross over $700. I think there should be 3 more DOT, ATOM, and LINK Speculations..

So as OP gave us his top 10 I would like to customize the list by replacing these 3 with the DOGE, TRX and nothing else haha my list will have 11 coins. the remaining speculations will be as follows.

DOT - $85+
ATOM - $63+
LINK - $54+

I would like to have comments of seniors and fellows on the AVAX,ICP and NEAR as well.

1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting btc of tuitions payments for College/students? on: August 27, 2023, 06:22:32 PM
Is it possible in future students to pay tuition with cryptocurrency like btc or another. As we all know that only stable money can run a country, moreover btc price is unstable so you can't do that even if you want to.

Haha, What a weird but great idea Well its possible not on the academic level but in my view for those like our country Home tutors and private academic tutors can offer such payment facilities I have a few friends of mine in this circle who are familiar with the crypto market and they offer home tuition service as well, I think I can discuss it with them.. It's a really good idea to have continuous accumulation and a side investment opportunity where they can save and invest at the same time.

For the reason that Op you've mentioned on the Stable money I think the solution is hidden inside the query, BTC is the devisable currency, and using the satoshi unit we can fix the services prices, which can have no impact on the market price. It can have some consequences but I think on some levels we can do it.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you must follow or use the services of trading signals providers on: August 26, 2023, 11:49:02 PM
When some use to type the trading signals and this type of keywords, there most of them who are making searches show that they just want the shortcuts in the market in which they will fail badly.

Op I know you are trying to explain the brighter side of the signals but who cares when a newbie enters the market and starts following signals What can you expect in the outcome of a learning tenure naahh its self fooling view. I know a person who on the way to learning and exploring the market makes mistakes but when intentionally making mistakes for the sake of profits in the short term it can be a glowing journey but that is in reality leading to a dark street where when 1 or 2 wrong positions happen in the panic he will lose all because he don't know how to respond as he never thought to learn it.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How was your first Bitcoin experience? on: August 26, 2023, 08:21:54 PM
It was through collecting my "hard earned" satoshis through the faucet I installed on my cheap Android phone back in the day (it was named something like hotBTC or something? the faucet's logo was a flame); withdrawing those few satoshis to my freshly installed and backed-up Mycelium wallet.

Man, those were the days.

Haha, really I was mad about the cloud-mining scam apps and websites. even though I did a lot of invites in the hope of withdrawal, a few of satoshis, I did earn from freebitions named faucet's website. exact domain I can't remind you still, Sir even in those days when you had a smartphone I was doing it all on my old family laptop and Uncle's phone.

Even in the hope of meaning-free BTC, I did a lot of scam Survay filling up forms and stuff like that and finally ended up all I got something real, Now Alhamdullilah I'm happy and I feel pleasure remembering those days.

1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Does It Work? on: August 26, 2023, 02:00:17 PM
There are a couple of reasons why altcoins choose PoS or move to PoS, none of which have anything to do with criticism or energy consumption or anything like that.
Two major reasons is the fact that altcoins that lack popularity will not be able to get anybody to mine them, ergo they will have low hashrate which would make them vulnerable to attacks. Choosing PoS which is a flawed and primitive algorithm that doesn't require any actual work means they can get network participants to "process" transactions with virtually no cost and avoid the PoW related attacks due to lack of interest.
The other reason is to make money out of thin air which we usually see in altcoins with premines like ethereum. The premine bagholders simply sit back and enjoy the free money they "print" out of thin air and with virtually no cost.

Hmm, Yes sir id o agree with you on it, But in the case of ETH, I think it's not because of Popularity, Even though ETH is not as popular as Bitcoin still ETH exists in the popularity race. There can be a reason for making money out of thin air. Because the hash rate will be enough to support the network security in the ETH case.

At the same time, they can't go with the POW because of their Bloccahin use, as in BTC all the transactions are handled by the miners (Confirmations), and due to the competency during network congestion the unconfirmed transaction stays in the meme pool due to the base of many DeFi projects ETH will face the higher network congestion time to time, their hash rate will be low and the overall power of the blockchain will get affected by it.
