The hardfork has been successful and digishield has kicked in but for some reason the blocks for X11 are not being found. Let us mine for a bit longer. It happened the same for Groestl when we first launched when many people couldn't find a block.

Are there plans for blake/x11 pools or announcement will be after hardfork goes through?
The http://zpool.co pool developer contacted me that he is getting a X11 and a Blake pool ready by today. Probably after the hardfork, we might see some. We are also working on a X11 pool which could be ready by tomorrow. |

One more thing low inflation is also very important because there are so many people who don't mine like me. We have to buy coins from exchanges, so this is where POS coins attract me because in POS I will get fair share of new coins generated just by being a faithful investor. No body wants their investment to fall in value.  We have checked the inflation with this hardfork. The amount of coins produced per day after the hardfork are fine compared to the max coins and the block reward. We need to see how it goes after the hardfork. |

Yes thanks i totally agree with you. Cryptocurrencies are just like some or the other brand. If your competitor comes up with something new, then you must come up with something better. This is never ending and will continue to happen.
Getting accepted on a bigger level is not our priority now. We need to make the coin such that it is one of the best out there by constantly providing some or the other innovative stuff.
Like our Revolutionary Wallet will stand among the best out there. We have included features in it that no other Wallet has.
Now for the core part, SFR is the first multi algo coin to feature X11 and blake. It is also the first multi-algo coin to use Digishield.
We had a coin inflation problem earlier that wasn't checked, so the prices ended up being very low. But now with this hardfork, 67% lesser coins will be produced per day.
So we are working on some innovative stuff. Once we continue working on something new or something that stands out, volume, popularity and everything else will fall in place.
We are a small but growing and supportive community. Many amazing people over here have helped us in many ways and contributed a lot in the progress of SaffronCoin. Hopefully our community keeps growing and we become a coin that actually matters.
Yeah I trust you but in my opinion its better get noticed before and involve as many people as possible. I say this because the number of coins generated will increase everyday and few people will hold a lot of coins, this discourages new people to join us. We need as many people as possible involved because that way the coin distribution will be fair and this is one of the factor affecting any coins success. Yes we need to do some great PR, there are some news sites that have contacted us to write articles after the hardfork. Addition of 2 more algos will target more miners and the introduction of DigiShield will restrict dumpers. Hopefully all goes well! |

Is it possible to integrate anonymity of transaction in the coin, It will be great to have that and will get lot of attention. As I can see you have knowledge about software and technicalities unlike most other devs , so I think may be you can do it. We had thought of anonymity but kept it reserved for a future hardfork. Anonymity is a dicy feature. It brings cons as well as concerns and possibility of illegal activities with it. We want to wait for sometime and see whether anonymity is just a hype or indeed has a future. We want SaffronCoin to not just be a coin with awesome features that can be traded on an exchange but also a coin that can be used at the national level of many countries as a virtual currency in the future. We are thinking of long term. An anonymity feature will certainly not be accepted by many countries. If we decide to include an anonymity feature, then it will be much different than what we see from other anonymous coins. I personally do not like Darkcoin's anonymity feature. I suspected it to be just hype because it was something new and different. If we decide to make SFR anonymous, then we would try to devise something that would revise the way crypto anonymity is seen and would be seen as something that is good for people rather than something that could cause illegal activities. |

The fork will reduce coin creation by approx 67%. After June 7th Saffron Coin will be moving on to much bigger things to be announced. We have superstar developers, a superstar community and superstar plans.
So total coin after hard fork is just 36,300,000 SFR ? No it wil remain 111 million. Hughjays meant coins in circulation per day will reduce by 67%. At present 207000 coins are produced per day. This hardfork will reduce the coins per day to 86400 |
