1221  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Starting as a Bitcoin Blogger on: December 23, 2023, 07:48:44 PM
Good luck with your plan, but I don't think finding a mentor over here would be easy thing because either you will find an average joe pretending as an and offer to become mentor, some will try to monetary gain from you in exchange of sharing knowledge (Justifiable to an extend) while the real deal would not be able to mentor as they will be busy in their existing work or tasks.

I would suggest you to start your channel in YouTube or other social media platform with basics of Bitcoin, you will find hundreds of such videos in YouTube but you need to simplify it and put it in a way that it would connect with audience and easy for them to understand. Initially you will find it challenging but all it takes is one viral video to become an established Blogger.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the #1 crypto currency in the world if it's slow and expensive? on: December 23, 2023, 07:32:08 PM
Yes, it's the first coin ever created, but it's slow and expensive (unless you're using the lightning network which most people and businesses don't).

How come Ripple which is the cheapest and one of the fastest ones - failed investors since 2018 and never reached back to the all time high of $3ish and those who believed in Ripple got 0 yields and a slap in the face, and yet this slow & expensive currency is the holy grail everyone is talking about?

+1

Adding on your point it has failed investors numerous times those who had invested in Ripple expecting it to reach $5 are now waiting for t to cross $1 and sustain. What can be expected from a centralized coins and surprisingly still on top 10, Bitcoin may be slow and expenses but it has never let it's investors down I am okay with the speed but the tranfer fee has been a pain point recently which is not something Bitcoin should be known for as it should be cheaper than traditional transfer modes.
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A kid makes millions by investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum on: December 23, 2023, 07:11:17 PM
This is what happens when we start trusting the new technologies and adopting to it against doubting everything and trying to figure out flaws in it. This is an example that we still got scope to do more because someone who's hardly at the age of attending college can achieve this there are plenty of people who are more skilled and talented or I would say more experienced but still they do 9-6 job because they are afraid to try something now or something which looks complicated.

This is an inspiring story for us like the other ones.
1224  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the us dollar might crash significantly on: December 23, 2023, 06:25:12 PM
As joe Biden administration is planning to sieze the Russian central bank asset worth 300B us dollar to fund the war in Ukraine, it may sound logical but it is a move that will not only distabilize the world financial system, but it will also make almost all none western countries around the world to shift away from the dollar, euros currencies as foreign reserves, because no body will see such an event taking place and not taking actions to preserve it asset.
This to me is a very wrong move that will kill the trust that existed between the west and global south.
Major countries around the world will definitely interpret it this way, today it's Russia, tomorrow it will be us, and that action will crash the value of dollar and euros around the world.
https://www.businessinsider.com/us-eyes-using-300-russia-frozen-assets-help-ukraine-backfire-2023-12

This will just backfire as other countries especially Balkan nations and those who have good relationship with Russia or else those who don't wish to be at risk of going through what happened with Russia because they will take it in a way that it's Russia now and in future if they go against USA or even have any disagreement then their fund would be freezed as well.

IMO neither this has impacted Russia nor had any significant impact on the ongoing war, it would only  cause harm to USD.
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme Coins Question? on: December 23, 2023, 09:02:27 AM
I would suggest you to drop the idea of trading the shit coins or meme coins which has potential of giving you 10x or 100x in short period f time because you will eventually end up losing it as it's a gamble and that's the reason you will not find such coins on top exchanges like Binance or Huobi or Kucoin but in low level exchanges which doesn't have much liquidity like Mexc, Bitmart, LAToken, etc. It's logically difficult to achieve the kind of profit you have mentioned as it would require effort an patience but investing in meme or shit coin is definitely not an option.
1226  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: If bitcoin is not decentralized currency what would have happen to bitcoin on: December 22, 2023, 09:51:12 PM
Firstly, If Bitcoin was not decentralised then no one would have invested into Bitcoin and it would have ended up like other commodities but without any value since it's not physical. Government would have patronized every single thing like the withdrawal limits, deposit limits, etc.

Coming back to second part of the topic, mixers has been receiving attention from government as it may be used for illegal activities like money laundering, terror funding and etc which used to happen even before existence of Crypto, we have seen what happened with Sinbad hence the forum don't want to get into radar of government by allowing mixer campaigns to advertise.
1227  Local / India / Re: Beware of fake trading apps! on: December 22, 2023, 09:23:36 PM
Yeah there are numerous scamming app which has been rolled out on the Indian market and with the emergence of AI tools like deepfake and other applications they make it look like influencer or celebrity is promoting the trading application and some fall prey to it. There are also advertisement which claims to give you certain percentage of returns everyday based on your investment and just scam people.

I think it's time people should pay heed to governments advice carefully and shouldn't decide on investing into anything just because it's there on social media or the stories associated with it especially false stories articulated in a professional way.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin to the orphans on my birthday on: December 22, 2023, 08:27:51 PM
You are setting example and this is a personal trait which is very rare to be seen nowadays by anyone.

Really appreciate for the kindness you have showered on this orphanage and even I have seen mostly people are limiting the awareness of Bitcoin within their friends and family Circle or colleagues but never reach out or educate the less fortunate people who can be leaders of provided with opportunities and right platforms.

As the saying goes "Give hungry man a fish, you will feed him today. Teach man how to fish, it will feed him lifetime". Apart from the foods you have provided them you have shared the knowledge which can change lives.
1229  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: December 22, 2023, 07:30:39 PM
Those that have experience in business, it's easier to move on and buy businesses. This is what Microsoft and other huge companies does.

I think that you'll see your own progress when you're already on this point of way of your life in the business sector and that means that you're growing and making a better progress.

This only applies to the big corporates who have enough experience and both financial and manpower muscle to take over without much challenges but for an individual it ends up as disaster as far as i have seen but it would depend on nature of business as different people have different mindset and business plans.

To make it clear everyone cannot acquire business and have a smooth transition and rather starting from scratch would help. These big corporates like Microsoft and others are successful and easily manages the acquired businesses because they started from scratch when they started their respective organisations and they are aware how things works.
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season coming soon? on: December 22, 2023, 07:09:33 PM
Yes we are nearby but not yet in bull run, initially looking at the way how Altcoins started rallying but be are waiting for the big one to set on major rally (Bitcoin rally) as that's the indication of Bull run. We may have bull run by the end of second quarter in 2024 post halving or little bit later.

But what confuses most of us at the moment is the Altcoin rally which was unexpected hence many have considered ait as bull run and started investing in Altcoins in FOMO.
1231  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A case to exclude Hungary from the EU on: December 22, 2023, 03:33:47 PM
It's a smear campaign to start targeting whoever has been either neutral or with Russia, there should be proper discussions held in regards and to ensure how Hungary can fix things instead of burning the bridges. France and Germany cannot bully Hungary and it should be a collective call because two nations cannot patronize the decisions like who should be in and who should be out of the EU.

This should be sorted out in the tables instead of dirty politics because everyone is entitled to share their thoughts but not to force their thoughts on others.
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast / easy / cheap / free way to create my own altcoin? on: December 22, 2023, 02:21:12 PM
More than one users have responded on how to go about creating your own Altcoin. As you have mentioned the purpose but, I want to check how are you going to make this coin valuable because anyone can create coins but they need to have a plan or business or services related to the project based on which the value of token is decided and fluctuates. But if you just want to create a coin and hodl it in wallet or share with your friends then there are stable coin.

You need to design the project first and think of your plan and roadmap how the project will excel before and have a rough draft later it should be linked with coin.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btt staking and buying stradegy on: December 22, 2023, 12:18:48 PM
First of all BTT is not a small cap and it has already had its dream run, I have had both good and bad experience with the coin because back then BTT was pegged to be the next big thing and it even pumped by more than 4x and then boom it dropped but till date I have not seen any further development from this project, it's just like classic example of TRON.

Don't say a coin as small cap based on its value as it could be misunderstood.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin portfolio on: December 22, 2023, 07:24:00 AM
Very sensible listing, Avax, ICP and HBAR will be huge as atleast 2 out of these three can pump, these are on my list as well which I would be investing into but will have ETH and some coins like ADA and will be waiting to see if SOL has any drop in price in order to buy it as I am feeling FOMO and tempted to buy it now but I don't want to do it by going with emotions rather doing research .

My list would be as follows:
Avax
Hbar
ADA
SOL(conditional)
ETH
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the transaction fee will high if I send small amount under $50 on: December 22, 2023, 05:18:56 AM
That's not how it works as transaction fee depends on network congestion but I will my get into details on the transaction fee dynamics and rather suggest you based on the amount you have mentioned. I would suggest don't do transaction if you want to do it for $50 as fees will be much higher considering current situation.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think Bitcoin ETF will be approved? on: December 22, 2023, 04:40:47 AM
No it won't  be approved before the end of December as this was delayed earlier and there wand ere rumours that it would happen during the month of March or April and then we have latest that it would happen with within first 10 days of January. I think we have to wait for further official announcement but till now but people have been hopeful on spot ETF to bring more goodness to value of Bitcoin.

It would mostly get approved but not sure about the date as it depends on various aspects and it may be delayed further as well.
1237  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: December 21, 2023, 04:48:45 PM
Starting a business from a scratch is not as easy like buying an already existing business. A lot of efforts, time, finance and marketing needs to be put together to make the well established whereas some good business can't make the opportunity to their prime.

Buying an already existing business, all you need is the money and little knowledge on how to upgrade and keep the business running so it will be less easy to operate on buying an existing business than creating from the scratch.
Many will decide by choice but buying an already existing business is the best only if you can afford the cost.

I would prefer starting business from scratch as that's how big brands and businesses starts because as per my experience and understanding one should know about every single thing about the business they are involved into and that's possible only if you start from scratch, also if someone is selling business either there are some challenges or its not the right thing to do hence they are selling off.I feel instead of diagnosing an problem and breaking out head by buying existing business it's better to start your own.

1238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ask anything here on: December 21, 2023, 03:34:18 PM
Not meant to disrespect you but what do you think the beginners & help section is available in this forum ? Just get to the point if have anything to share or if you want to ask anything specific because it doesn't make sense to ask any question to an individual instead we can ask the question in the Beginners & Help section which will help newbie with multiple response with various point of view. Let's try not to create topics which doesn't benefit anyone.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Leapfrogs XRP as Fifth-Largest Crypto on: December 21, 2023, 02:12:22 PM
Yes SOL has been on dream run for a while now and people are expecting for new ATH and we already see users investing into SOL and surge in trading volume which indicates either FOMO as people don't want to miss the bull run and they see price increasing and they put their investment into SOL and the other set of people are in for some quick trades since the value has been fluctuating like 5-10% everyday so people would gamble on leverages.

Sometimes when we fail to invest on time we feel like price correction is going to happen nu t end up the other way around because we don't think of logic when emotion take over.

1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana - Is it still good to buy or it's FOMO on: December 20, 2023, 11:33:21 PM

I personally feel little bit confused because somewhere I feel if I enter now then I will be doing it in FOMO. Please share your opinion whether we can still take entry or should we wait if there would be any possible market correction and this is not for long term investment.

You didn’t now or later it will still be base on FOMO, there is much hype around this coin right now because of the the tokens on his ecosystem. Most of the tokens on its ecosystem are doing massive airdrops and some are getting listed on top exchanges this has caused Altcoin hunters to chase after it. 80k is high but not still close to the ATH, I think it will break soon if the market continues like this most especially bitcoin continues to increase. You can buy it but have it that no Alticoins is to be trusted

Yes, cannot trust any Altcoin as that's why I had mentioned it's not for long term. The recent hype around this coin is what makes me take a step back because you know how soon altcoin can fall from grace anytime. Hence will do some further research if there any any other events lined up for this coin which can increase its value and if yes then will make entry else will wait for a while instead of rushing into it.
