And you expect ltc to increase in price ? That can only happen with big pump, this coin doesnt offer anything over other 10000 cryptos except the fact that, just like bitcoin, is controlled by a few chinese miners which is extremely bad.
I think that if litecoin holds stable for the next 3-6 months then a lot of people are going to start to think of litecoin as the real deal. When this happens people will start investing and the price will go up. I remember in 2012 people where saying bitcoin wasnt going anywhere, it held steady for a year then went to the moon. The value of a coin does not depend on its tech and this is what litecoin will someday prove. |

I like POS, I dont like IPO/ICO
For the pure PoS coins, it has to be issued with IPO or ICO, like NXT. I like the coins converted from PoW to PoS. Pure pos right off the bat is not good for distribution, there should be a pow phase for distribution then movement to pure pos once fair distribution has happened. |

Litecoin price and volume have been stable for the last 3 months. They have not gone up but they have not gone down either. I think litecoin is going to come back in a big way by the end of this year.

the crypto world has changed a bit since litecoin's last peak. we've seen a million clone-shitcoins. theres no story here, no doohickey to even pump. litecoin is a bitcoin clone with some basic parameters changed, but it offers nothing new. china already got burned hard on litecoin, and they're not coming back to the table.
despite many altcoins being up large amounts this year (catalyst being Mike Hearn's blog), the big clone coins (litecoin, dogecoin) have done NOTHING.
while i see various Rube Goldberg blockchains (complicated but useless blockchains) getting pumped, i dont see the shitclones ever getting pumped like they once were.
There is more to a coin than just tech and features. Litecoin has been around since 2011 and since then it has built itself up to where it is now. No one was paid millions to build litecoin, there were no premines(with the exception of the 2 block test phase) and most importantly it has the trust of the crypto community. I think if litecoin does go up it will be because of brand name and recognition that litecoin is here to stay. Litecoin price is stable, volume is also stable at over $1 million a day and development is moving along. Litecoin isnt going anywhere and i think in the course of time people will start to realise this. |

Eth bubble has popped this shit is going back to the $1-$2 range. Do the smart thing and sell while price is still $9. If you dont believe me or think this is fud just look at ether charts for the last month price has fallen from $13 to $9.82.

I can see eth going back to the $0.50 range. Cant wait to see the reaction of the eth can do anything club when this happens. Nothing good ever comes out of investing in a IPO and the smart investors know this.

Why not switch octocoin to a pos algo for the long term?? Make coin cap infinite and introduce 1-2% yearly stake interest to keep inflation low. The pow system right now is broken with multipools abusing it and no blocks being found for 10-20 hours at a time making the coin unusable. Besides POS provides a better main chain for sidechains later on and helps a coin better retain value. That is my opinion i would like to hear other peoples opinion on this.
