I think the acceptace of the crypto is the biggest negativity of it because of its volatility,if that is consideed to be a curreny then the merchants don't want to take any kind of risk with volatile curreny so they aren't accepting yet and if one curreny adopted every people in this world then it will be impossible to use since cryptos have low transactions per second when compared to fiat money.

Anything can be possible but which also comes with risks as well,in crypto trading you can make even 10% or more in a day but it is impossible to maintain that profit percentage for a week because the prices might fall in that periods,I don;t suggest you to do day trading because by day trading you will possibly make nothing at the end just do it if you want to make money in very short term.

If it was voting that counted - the account farms would win with their thousands of alts. Precisely. Plus you would then create a market for buying upvotes and downvotes, which since they presumably have no limit like merit, can be sold freely by any moron that can make hundreds of alt accounts. I don't see why anyone would want to buy an upvote if it does nothing but keep the post on the top of the board. And the issue of alt account could be solved by giving members weighted votes based on their merits. We can go one further by using 'earned merits'and not those airdropped. It's just a suggestion. If the upvote has noting to do with that other than bringing the thread up then most of the signature spammers won't care about upvoting so we can see some good posts in the first pages.Any way I don't think any other system will be implemented in near future maybe we need to remove the signature completely for quality over quantity. |

i think the value of the coin will increase in few days bcoz the last year at the same time the value of the coin was about $18000 dollars
so i have a positive feeling of increase of the coin
It is not strong enough reason for the prices to increase in few days just look at the current market situation there is no hype for the bitcoin and the governments were supressing them by restriction and lot of exchanges hacks causes the prices to lower but currently the market is growing in very small rate that is good though if that continues throughout the year we may see $8000 by end of this year. |

Hi all
I noted that some ICOs like LAPO.io have a steady growth in their sold altcoin volumes.
But when checking their wallets - eg in case of LAPO bitcoin and ETH, it shows very little volume/ transactions and very limited assets (<1000 usd).
This feels scammy and looks like they want to create a hype and trust based on fake sold volumes.
What are your experiences regarding this?
Any other ICOs that do this?
So far I have not received a reply from LAPO in my request for proof of the sold volumes or overall received funds.

I think you should move this thread to the scam accusation section if you want to targe about that particular project LAPO and where they are responsible to reply if you got anough eidence that they have nothing in their wallets.These kind of things happened many times and lot of DT members tagged them as well so move it now and strart the serious discussion there. |

I want to invest in good quantity. but it is very hard to rely on hardwallets. MyEthWallet seem good in terms of ease of availability. I need to know if it is enough safe to use MEW?
MEW wallets is used by lot of people for storing large amount of funds but if you are going to store them for long termpurpose then better go with Hardware wallets which only cost you about less than $100,and most of the ICO teams holding their fud in MEW so it is capable for large funds but you need to be aware of phishing links. |

You even admits that isn't your account so you have no right to ask for banappeal againt that ban even though it is not going to happen for the plagiarism. It will be permaban so you never can be able to access that account,I don't know you are allowed to create new account even.  |

Less than hour to be honest because I am not getting much fun throug gambling since it needs lot of money to be played so it make me more worried than getting entertined while I am gambling for more hours so I judt picked some hobbies to spend my free time which can make me entertained and amazed.
Do you mean daily you spend almost an hour in gambling that is highly a huge time as per me because if you are playing for entertaining then it should be once a while where you either go out with friends or family and have fun . But if daily an approx hour means 6 hours or so in a week and majority of bets mostly would be on losing side so in such circumstance you would lose out your earning soon and may cause a mental stress if you continue doing this. I said it will be less than hour so it means only a few minutes in online gambling and I don't have much money to spend for gambling purpose so I will play with some bits only and I don't care about winning or losing since I know what the gambling can give us,the mental stress only for the people who loses their money more than they can afford to lose. |

Because that token was sold over price than how much it supposed to be or just by the people who invested on that project to make short term profits only so they will sell all their tokens soon it got into an exchange which causes the demand less and supply to more which eventually causes the price to be falling.

How do you figure one out and what can be done in near future to limit these frauds an access to the market? Most of the people who got scammed were just by their faults they just going for the sites to make more profits due to their greedines nut they didn't realize that it is not possible to make those kind of profits in real life so at the end all their money gone.Before doing any kind of crypto investment they need to analyse about the site or projects. |

Taking a break from gambling is always a good solution for every gambler especially if we are losing much money so we can think and decide to leave the game for a while and perhaps, we can come back in the other day. I also take a break for a while if I feel I am too seriously to play because sometimes, I can lose more money and I cannot enjoy the games.

Actually crypto currencies were better to use in the space if we have internet connection for the places but those days are unimagineable for now,maybe the space craft with people to mars will be going in 2040 as I have read so at that time people will accumulate more to the crypto currencies so they have some sort of money if they wanted to buy something at mars.  |

I am not sure what Theymos will do or will not do. Increasing Merit source and sMerits when we have no idea how to use all source sMerits looks completely stupid to me. The problem with the merit sources is they don't have much time to find the merit deserving posts so they are wasting their smerits which is much valuable for the BTT users.But recently Theymos have added 36 merits sources so we need to wait and we this will make any difference?! |

Playing gambling online, especially in Crypto, I don't think needed a lot of money to get started, I have many friends who gamble the results of the faucet available there, with patience and consistency in playing, you still have the opportunity to get good profits there. With a loss of 0.02 BTC I think you are still not very active in gambling, with you playing in small amounts and still being able to control emotions well, then I think you will be fine and will not become a gambling addict. Continue like that so you won't regret it later when you lose big in gambling. Actually I never much money for gamling purpose because I am actually addicted wih my pets where I have been spending lot of money still now. As far as I know, it took 3-4 months before the market turns green after the bitcoin halving in 2016. So if history repeats itself then perhaps 2020 will be the year wherein we might see another 2017 in the making. But then again, this is crypto ecosystem, past performance doesn't mean future success so its hard to say what will be the price in the next 2 years or so. @carter34 - Lol, don't cling your hope on a miracle, just saying. If that crypto currency prices will be going to moon then it will happens much faster than the history like 2020 or in late 2019 since the growth is getting much faster and faster so the path of the prices will also move much faster but still we have time to buy the crypto currencies before it reaching much expensive prices. |

Try to explore the beginners and help sectio first where lot of threads and guidelines were available about how to find the scam ICOs and in that case it will really helpful for the bounty hunters too,but you need to earn the required merit now to reach the desired rank level atleast to member to wear the working signature links which help you to participate on bounties. |

I think the price of bitcoin at the moment the price drops very much not as you mentioned, the highest price of bitcoin is up to $ 20k and now the price is falling so deep like this I think this is the most severe decline in bitcoin prices.
I think that price fall already dropped at $6000 range few months back but after that it keeps bump and dump at the range with different price swing range but certainly stick with that range only of about $6000- $7000,But still the price drop is normal in bitcoin and it happened many times since the creation of bitcoin so don't be afraid to hold your coins for long term. |
