Here's a couple more people who were paid accidentally:

geopolisch - 1AEtaVd9Siu5gSVYhUFjULqhYDat9q2nDv - 0.035 too much
prtty2gal2 - 15jwyuH29SqSFY3gj9r22nioHhLyucFVab - 0.035 too much
Oilacris   - 15YkxswW9unoNKP5wbLRzaRAZVJqrKyrFe - 0.035 too much
novemberwoah -    1CPGp5oaeodb5kJfbf6CKyFKcbTHKTMKU8 - 0.035 too much
I am at office could you give me some time to refund. Sorry for any inconveniences.

Yeah, just do it as soon as you can. It's not that big of a rush.
It's funny that you say that my 7 posts to make 30 of the posts were rushed but your deadline for counting was stated as 18:00-21:00 and you send in the spreadsheet right at 18:00.
Now you tell us that "you made a mistake" and "send it back" when people have already spent this bitcoin that was sent nearly 10 hours ago.
This is poor clerical skills on your part BoXXoB. And it should not just fly. Roll Eyes
What I got is a 0 paid and next to the holidays.

Must I quote what I have said?

@BoXXoB
May I have the exact time of post count on 7th Dec. Thank you.

I'll look over posts at around 18:00-21:00 EET time so everyone should be ready at 18:00 EET. I hope this is the answer you were looking for Tongue

It clearly states everyone should be READY at 18:00 EET. I simply made it a 3-hour window so that I will be ready with the sheet before 21:00 EET.

Payments were made according to 1st week's sheet accidentally. This was a simple error made by the person who made the payments.

Also how come you have spent it if we discussed in the PMs that you will not be included because you made 7 posts in mere 10 minutes just before the count. If you spent the bitcoin you did it knowing it was somehow mistakenly credited to you.

Also I am not forcing anyone to pay.

1222  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - 90BTC MAX WIN, 1BTC JACKPOT, BET BACK, DAILY EVENTS! on: December 22, 2016, 10:42:40 PM
We have just announced our wagering contest here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1725263.0

Come play and see if you have what it takes to take home the Prizes!

1st Place gets 1 BTC
2nd place gets 0.25 BTC
3rd place gets 0.1 BTC

Almost a week before this contest ends. Hoping that I can join very soon. The prize is truly big and promising, but I have one question.

How much do we need to bet or the minimum wager in able to be qualified or we just need to wage any amount and the winners will be announced randomly?

Because there is no info about it.

The prizes are given to 3 players who wager most each week. There's no random selection, only the ones who wager most will win.

1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is definition of 'Wagered'? on: December 22, 2016, 02:44:07 PM
Yeah, it's just the sum of what was bet. So in this case 100 BTC. I don't believe I've ever heard a different definition.

A more blurry case is if someone bets 1 BTC in a game like plinko, but the worst possible outcome is 0.2x. i.e. they can never lose more than 0.8 BTC in that bet.

So have they wagered 1 BTC, or have they wagered 0.8 BTC?  When you work with it from a maths perspective it makes more sense to normalize it, and treat it as a 0.8 BTC wager, but colloquial most people would call it a 1 BTC bet.

I'd definitely just simply say it's 100 wagered even if it's on a game like plinko. That's literally pretty much how everybody understands it.
1228  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [WILL START 1 DECEMBER] on: December 21, 2016, 06:01:21 PM
The sheet has been updated and provied to Alex.

Also after giving it a little thought posts in Tipster, prediction etc. threads will not count towards the post amount. I'll talk with Alex about this and get it updated to the OP asap.

EDIT: Also in general it would be appreciated that posts in Gambling discussion threads that are obviously just spam would be reduced. I think I will have to make my selection process a bit more strict the upcoming weeks and the next count I'll be very careful with selecting the accepted posts.

1231  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoinvanitygen.com on: December 21, 2016, 03:38:05 PM
Do not trust any site to do the job for you. Your best bet is probably getting help from LoyceV or shorena though depending on your PC specs you could do it by yourself. It's a very easy thing to make one for yourself as long as you're not looking for a vanity address of over 6 digits. The main thing to remember is that you should never take a private key that has been fully generated by someone else.
1232  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hack Into BitDice And Get 1BTC! on: December 21, 2016, 03:21:29 PM
Hey guys,

Whole thing was to prove default settings. As I've mentioned it in the first post, I did not set any additional security settings. This is security by default, which each user gets after registration. You can lower it, if you feel comfortable, or increase. It's up to you. But by default you should be as safe as your email provider.

Regarding security problems with email, your account still can be safe even if your email has been compromised. Just set 2FA. You can also set IP address lock, or withdrawal address lock. We provide as many options as you can possibly use.

Regards,
Alex

But if a hacker had hacked the email and he has the password to the account can't he just reset the withdrawal address and the IP address? Or by 2FA you mean other thing than email? I'm sorry if my question was a stupid one, I'm new to this thing.

They also have a 2FA option to use your phone as 2FA with Google Authenticator or similar. This is probably an even more secure method than email as they would have to have access to your phone in order to get the 2FA code.

2FA is more secure way that's why you need to be carefull.
When and if you enable it, you MUST store somewhere your 16-digit code/key.
If you don't and you loose your devise, you are in a black hole... Roll Eyes

It's a sad truth far too few people back their 2FA code up. Then what we see is them crying here on BCT that they've lost their 2FA and need help...
1233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea for helping Venezuela using Bitcoin on: December 21, 2016, 02:24:11 PM

It's impractical; What, does one have access to a USB port 24/7?

As far as I know the point of OpenDime is that you don't spend it once you get it. You're supposed to pass it on and basically make transactions that way if you get what I mean.

I don't disagree though that it's still not the most cost effective option.

What comes to the idea of helping Venezuelans I'm interested to see if we'll be able to get this going. Obviously there are a few concerns mentioned before but as far as I know nothing that wouldn't have a workaround. I'd definitely be open to helping once I have a chance and means to.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your pain and problems in the bitcoin world on: December 21, 2016, 02:12:12 PM
Transaction time is the main problem for me. Sometimes, I have to wait for up to 2 hours to convert my Bitcoins to fiat in Localbitcoins. And logging in to the Blockchain.info wallet can be quite frustrating sometimes. There are instances when the email code never arrives.

Blockchain wallet seems to be a pain sometimes... I can't send funds from my phone, I always get an error and I hate it when I need to go to Chrome and try to send it from there... It's harder to do it, you can't even scan the QR code..

I'd recommend ditching blockchain wallet. It went pretty bad with the update (even the older version wasn't that good). Even exporting private keys is a pain because of the private key formats they default to.

Perhaps a better option would be BitGo if you prefer web wallets. I personally prefer Mycelium for everything though. Small amounts will be kept on mobile and larger amounts on Trezor (mycelium allows spending from hardware wallets too). It's the wallet I've had least problems with and you can even sign messages with it.
1235  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which Payment processor do you use/recommend? on: December 21, 2016, 02:01:53 PM
BitPay for sure, never had a single problem at all using them. Coinbase probably wouldn't be the worst option but as mentioned their problems with the IRS may cause something.

1237  Economy / Gambling / Re: Managedgambling.com - We help you to make good profits from gambling on: December 20, 2016, 11:51:54 PM
So in other words you take advantage of people who think that there's some kind of a secret to winning and therefore you have zero risk to lose money because if you do, it wasn't your money, it was someone else's and you can just wait for the next fool to give you money to lose? If you by some miracle happen to win you'll simply take a cut from that.

No matter how you manage your bankroll you can't change the fact that you're gambling against a house-edge. Nothing will change that. Get out of the bubble guys, welcome to reality.

Please read everything properly.  We never said there are any secrets out there to win.

Yeah on a longer run only the gambling house will win because of house edge. But why you have to wait for a longer run.  Just make some bucks and exit.  Do not over play.  Please take time to read everything i have said on the first post.

Ofcourse we are in reality.  We never said, earn from gambling for living.  We are saying we can help people who are losing regularly on gambling.

Just the fact that you claim to be professional gamblers pretty much sums it up. You're not helping anybody, you're just planning on taking a cut if you happen to be lucky helping someone gamble their own money. What's the point of saying you can help someone become a professional gambler if you're also saying they're expected to lose money after all.

I just realized I shouldn't have posted anything, continuing this will just make it a never ending battle between me and a rock.

If you by some miracle happen to (help them) win you'll simply take a cut from that!

Stunna check your inbox from bitcointalk, i lost my f2a and cant login again!

I even contacted support they ask me for a bunch of information and im waiting an answer for 15 hours....

This is the exact reason why 2FA codes are supposed to be backed up. There are sites way more strict than PD where losing 2FA would be pretty much final unless extra precautions are taken.
