1221  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 20, 2017, 05:18:21 AM
I guess it is still worth buying bitcoin because it still has a potential left for it to grow now but it is better to buy bitcoins when price dips so I suggest to you OP to wait a little while for a correction to happen before buying bitcoin so that you can get more bitcoin out of your investment. You can profit easily too when dips occur because after dip, bitcoin price tends to rise after a little while.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: May 20, 2017, 01:14:42 AM
I have a lot of wallets but I mainly use web wallet particularly blockchain.info that I use for everyday transactions and for storing a percent of bitcoin that I got which I use for day trading sometimes and also for paying for services and buying in game items. I also use coins.ph which is a local web wallet here in the Philippines, which I use to easily convert bitcoin to fiat and by doing so, I can easily convert bitcoin to real money without using exchange.
1223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price per BTC on: May 19, 2017, 04:44:55 AM
Looking at the rise, today alone, i'm getting super... super excited. The price per BTC at the time I write this post is : $1919.16 - quite a rise from yesterday's 1700 something. I'm interested what you all think, could this be the start of the surge we know will come? What do you think the price will be tomorrow - lets talk!
I feel good seeing the current price rise that we have seen today. I think this might be the start of another upward movement. I think tommorow it is either price will continue to rise up to 1950$ range and stabilize, or dump and we might see price ranges 1600-1700$ but it is just a possibility after all it is very common in cryptocurrency that when price rise, dump or correction will happen later after the upward trend. This is just my opinion though I might be right or wrong.
1224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever drop to $1200-$1500 on: May 19, 2017, 04:03:40 AM
I think that it is very possible for bitcoin to drop to 1200$-1500$ price ranges since dumps are bound to happen anyway after upward price movements like what we are seeing now, continuous upward trend of price. I really do hope this continues until 2000$ mark is reached and goodluck to you OP I know you can buy more bitcoin at your target price later if bitcoin rises to 2000$.
1225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 1800$ on: May 19, 2017, 03:04:07 AM
Bitcoin total supply is just 21 million btc, and the addition of the number of investors happens day by day. With this condition, the basic economic law (supply and demand) is ongoing.
Yes it won't stop here, it will be going up more. Make sure you collect it earlier.
There is no way to collect more bitcoin earlier, the bitcoin you have at this moment is the one you have if you want more bitcoin then you will need to do so at this high prices but at the same time the price does not stop going up at all.

Bitcoin count would same at all the times, only price rate only fluctuate or grow steadily. I see that we now touched the new peak value and crossed more than 1800$ ever.
First, you do investment on bitcoin likely, trading, mining, gambling or any type investment. I am sure it make you step your path on bitcoin strongly earlier.
It really exceeded 1800$ I can't imagine this happening weeks ago but it happened. Bitcoin right now is at 1900$+ and I think it still continues to rise and will continue to go up for weeks. I really hope that it will continue to rise in the next coming months before we see a correction again. Right now I think that 2000$ bitcoin price can be reached this year without a doubt if there is no bad news that will prevent it to hit that mark this year.
1226  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unlike alts Bitcoin will not crash on: May 19, 2017, 01:49:54 AM
Bitcoin really might rise up to $2400 in the next coming weeks or months if the upward trend continues but it is hard to imagine right now that bitcoin will crash back to sub 1k unless there is a major event that will trigger it to happen. Altcoins really will crash but there are few altcoins that have genuine price as other says and has a lot of potential to increase too so If I were you I won't say all altcoin pumps now are just ponzi schemes but some pumps in some certain altcoins really do look like it is manipulated.
1227  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Reason for increase of the Bitcoin? on: May 19, 2017, 01:04:39 AM
It is simple, the reason for an increase in the price of Bitcoin is due to adoption that brings in demands for the coin.

I agree.  I believe we are moving from innovators into the early adopters phase.  It is also more difficult to mine and with a 10% increase in difficulty coming online soon, miners are reluctant to sell because it's only going to get more and more difficult, especially once AMD enters the ASIC space.

That is also one of the reasons for the price rise IMO, the miners being reluctant to sell makes supply lesser compared with the supply we have before we have seen the price upward movement. Without Japan adopting bitcoin, I guess miners would not hesitate to sell so Japan made a big role on the current price movement we are seeing. I hope this continues for a week or months more from now.

CreditGAME Fun and innovative distribution of newly issued tokens.

I am really interested on that CreditGame, I wonder what kind of game would be released, is it a card game or some adventure mmorpg game?  Well I guess I have to wait and watch out for this update  Smiley.

The first 2 games will be Minesweeper and Lotto Smiley You can check here https://www.creditbit.org/creditGame.html

Thank you for this link.
I like mmorpg also. I think they create an arcade game to.

Being a big fan of Minesweeper classic, I think i will top the game charts in CreditGame. Eagerly awaiting for the game to be released. We need some more ideas like this in the cryptoworld.
@DXB2017 Do you know the release date for that??

Ask dev guys, but i think real soon....
So in short it is kinda like a gambling site because as stated in the link, "Both players lock an equal amount of Tokens for a certain time period and enter the game." which is like a bet? I might understand this the wrong way but it is still nice to see that some things like this are being developed because these games can generate a continuous demand for creditbit. Im hoping for the success of this plan.
1229  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: TBC SCAM on: May 16, 2017, 04:23:40 AM
1230  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ransom Ware! "Wanna Cry" Malware (beware) on: May 16, 2017, 02:25:21 AM
Grin
1232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safest way to store your bitcoins? on: May 15, 2017, 07:09:05 AM
For me the safest way to store your bitcoins is via a wallet address with a private key you control. I would recommend electrum for storing bitcoins long term and blockchain.info web wallet although your safety still depends on how you handle your private keys or username and password for blockchain. Any wallet with private key you can control is safe I think depending on how users use it may it be online or offline.
1233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bought BTC on PayPal and got scammed, please HELP! on: May 15, 2017, 03:43:13 AM
Goodluck getting your money back but I don't think it will be back because even if paypal do ask him questions, he can lie and turn things in favor of him, the scammer. There is still a chance though that you would get your money back so I guess paypal will protect you. Next time make sure that the person you are transacting with is trustworthy and has many successful trades before buying btc on paypal from him/her.
1234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got a bitcoin offer which i am considering on: May 15, 2017, 02:25:24 AM
thank you very much Velkro, Qartada & BTCforjoe, especially BTCforjoe for your extremely detailed and helpful reply.
I was about to jump on it when I saw another email from him saying try from a smaller qty but now I'll just skip it.
and yea he did refuse for escrow but claimed to have lost 500 btc on escrow...

Refusing a known trusted escrow is definitely red flag that this is a scam. You should definitely avoid this as it is not likely to end well.
Yeah its better to not buy from him. If you really want to buy bitcoin that bad, wait for a dip then buy or you can buy now instead of buying discounted bitcoins from him who is sure to be a scammer. It is wiser if you would cut off contact with him now, and not to ever contact him again because it is useless. Loosing 500 btc on escrow seems exaggerated unless the escrow he used is not trusted.
1235  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin reach the $4000 mark this year ? on: May 15, 2017, 01:24:38 AM
I don't think that bitcoin will reach 4000$ mark this year but there is still a chance that it might but it is too early to say for sure that it will reach 4000$ mark. I think it would be achievable next halving because right now, bitcoin is stable at 1700-1800$ price ranges and a possibility of dump is open anytime. For now all we can do is either wait or hold, sell and rebuy at dump if there will be, and watch.  Cool
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank in Norway now supports Bitcoin on: May 15, 2017, 12:26:52 AM
This just sound a bit, meh. Local exchanges in our country allow us to buy bitcoins using our money from most banks here. This seem to be the setup with this bank you mentioned. What I'm curious is, is it the only bank there that allow this?
It really isn't like that. I looked into OP's linked and their new service looks like a web wallet that is centralized removing decentralization feature to bitcoin though it seems to be setup like how you mentioned it. The only difference is that the bank itself owns the online banking site which is like a bitcoin web wallet itself. This can be good for bitcoin though since it might make more banks from Norway adopt it and thus will boost price.
1237  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is gonna die soon! on: May 14, 2017, 10:46:12 AM
Lauda, you're a joke. Btc can't even transfer money.  Can't due instant payments. Can't combat the double spend scams and will never be updated to increase capacity or resist quantum computing. Not to mention the problems that will come in the future do to the laws of the universe governing decay....
Even if confirmation is slow it can still transfer money. Even if there isn't instant payments people will still trust bitcoin and they're sure that eventually it will be confirmed and arrive in their wallets. Even if there is the scaling issue bitcoin will continue to move forward. And like what lauda said, goodluck hope you won't be just a bagholder of an altcoin in the end.
1238  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Mt. Poloniex, who is dumping when users can't sell? on: May 14, 2017, 06:54:22 AM
This can be a sign that poloniex is starting to make a Gox and probably history will repeat itself if this continues to head in the wrong direction. This is just my opinion though but I really do hope poloniex stays as good as it is, if we see another big exchange scam people like what Mt. Gox did, I know there will be a pretty big dump to occur in terms of bitcoin price.
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Returning to bitcoin after 2 years! shocked at confirmation time! on: May 14, 2017, 05:25:02 AM
Simply pay the proper fee. Most clients include that functionality by now.

Not necessarily true. At the moment, there are currently more than 140,000 unconfirmed transactions. My last transaction took over 8 hours, and I paid nearly $4 to simply move coins from my hot wallet to an exchange.

Confirmation times will be the downfall of Bitcoin, if a soft fork (at the least) doesn't happen. I personally have made the switch over to LTC, ETH and XMR, simply because of the nearly instant (and much cheaper) transactions. BTC will always be the gold standard, but unfortunately, with more and more people learning about it, the slower that confirmations will become.
If the same amount of users bitcoin has now used your mentioned altcoin, I guess they would have the same speed of confirmation time bitcoin have now maybe more. To fasten transactions I use viabtc to accelerate transactions but sometimes it still takes hours but its still good. Even if it takes days though the important thing for me is that it will arrive so I will just wait patiently and use bitcoin.
1240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 14, 2017, 01:17:05 AM
The best source of bitcoin nowadays in the poll is others since it just need some skills and one can get a good sum of bitcoin out of there. Offering one's skills in programming or any skills can get one at least 0.01 BTC in a pretty easy job up to 1 BTC or more depending on how hard to finish the task is. Also signature campaign is good because one can get at least 0.003 BTC at least in an easy way and at most 0.035 BTC weekly and more if monthly pay.
