The Nets are playing again today. Still no Ben Simmons in the lineup but Kevin Durant is returning from injury so that’s one piece falling into place. Hopefully Ben Simmons hits the floor soon as well. I can’t wait to see how he fits in with KD and Kyrie.
I wish it's a good chemistry. My expectations are not that high but a spark between those three is fine. Like how Harden go well with Embiid.
Another big game on TNT tonight is the Lakers vs Clippers. I think when the Clippers signed Kawhi and PG13 we all thought these LA matchups would be a bigger deal. With the Clippers crippled by injuries and the Lakers playing terrible basketball, this matchup is turning into a snooze fest.
Same old. Crappy Lakers. They can't win against the Clippers with that kind of game, it's just Reaves that's been helpful. Well Lakers won in the number of turnovers. If this will keep on happening then it won't be shocking to see them at the 11th seed and won't even join the play in tournament.
1222  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 04, 2022, 11:11:07 AM
We are growing and I think there's a good and bad side of it.
More investors won't care about FUD and that's the positive side about learning. While the bad side is they kind of invest in bad projects popping left and right in the crypto market.
IMO, that's one of the reason why we don't see a big recovery anymore. There's too many options to pick and the competition is growing too.
Not being selfish but I think it's still best to buy Bitcoin first then the spare will be for others, not the other way around. As long as BTC grows in value other cryptocurrencies will have a chance to ride it.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 03, 2022, 04:04:13 PM
^^ I think he also adjusted, he try to go back to his bread and butter, that is to go to the inside. But there are times that there are no bounce on his feet, so the young guys can follow and block his shot. And he often uses his left which is not his strong suit. I guess it boils down to that chemistry issue, and for me as much as we want him to stay as a Lakers, WB should go somewhere else.
It's just sad to see that there's so much hype on Westbrook when he joined the Lakers but his production is not what we are expecting. I don't know his future but I think he will be better if he will be in a team that no other superstar except him.
Or, he could just accept the fact that he is not that energetic unlike before. The shooting is gone, which I think he had back at OKC. He is a wingman now and not the star, there must be a time in your life that you have to swallow the truth. He ain't getting younger.
There are stars that gained a lot of fame when they become 2nd stringers or bench players. Andre Iguodala is one, Mike Conley who is the star of Memphis with Marc Gasol and more. All he need is to adopt the environment.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real life utility question on: March 03, 2022, 02:18:31 PM
Is it crypto which is the problem or is it human? Stable coins was created and those can be used by merchants if they want although I don't recommend it for personal reasons. But it is there. It's 1:1. So they won't have any problem with volatility but we don't see much merchants who post signs of "USDT accepted here". In my experience, I haven't seen one.
So, I have a feeling it's not crypto that is the problem but the courage to use it despite the volatility.
1225  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia's effect on IT sector? on: March 03, 2022, 12:45:00 PM
Both are affected. They may have the precious metals for the items but do they have the production to do it? If not, then they are relying on whatever was sent to them by other countries and in this case computer devices or electronics.
A big problem globally when a sanction happens and if ever there are countries who could offer the same item it won't suffice the need in the market or there will be a shortage of it which might be recovered years. That is true, they may be an increase in price that will come but we just don't feel it yet.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 03, 2022, 09:53:24 AM
Dirk was not a good comparison or am I missing something? Did he ever leave the franchise like Lebron?
Yeah, sorry I missed to input about the "veteran contract" even though he won't play they let him sit down there. Not about leaving the franchise but just an appreciation for the entertainment and championship given to Cavs by Lebron and Dirk with Mavs. Paid without even playing every game.

Miami Heat is stronger than ever to give the Bucks that hard time to win the game. Jrue and Giannis was forced to give their all and it was like a playoffs game. That's fun to see a game that intense.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 02, 2022, 04:15:21 PM
It would be stupid if Cleveland will still sign Lebron, now that they are doing betting, for sure they won't let Lebron ruin their chemistry.

Lebron was the franchise player of Cleveland, he left and came back, and then he left again.. so I don't think he still deserves a 3rd chance.
I don't know but I have a feeling that Lebron will stay with the Lakers and will retire in Laker uniform.

Disagree. Cleveland will surely welcome him with open arms. Remember what Dallas Mavericks did for Dirk Nowitzki? Although the difference is Dirk was the Mavs franchise player so he deserves it. Lebron is from Ohio so, Cleveland Cavaliers will find a way to sign him and make him retire in his home team even if they will spend some money. Besides, it might be good for business like ticket sales, jerseys and caps.
My prediction is, he will come back there but it will be the last year of his career.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: smal USDT balances ?? what to do ?? on: March 02, 2022, 11:56:38 AM
I like OgNasty's advise above and that was the first one that came out of my mind when I read OP's problem.
You have a transfer, exchange and withdrawal problem so why not use the exchange directly for business purposes. I think an exchange would gladly welcome that kind of idea and they want money coming in and out their business because of the fees included in it which is where they get their profits.
Take his advise and try it out.
1229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Crash in The Next 2 Weeks? on: March 02, 2022, 08:41:16 AM
Whoever made that tweet may be in the wrong time and date or perhaps it was mistaken for something else and not Bitcoin.
To save the value of the money they own they would buy anything that could keep it's market steady or better increase and Bitcoin is one of that where many people will keep on purchasing it as an escape route.
There's lot of rumors and speculation in social media, you better follow the right ones although not perfectly accurate.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 01, 2022, 07:05:09 PM
I would guess that there is now a chance that for the first time in his history, Lebron could get traded. I do not know how and why and to where, but Lakers are feeling like Lebron at least has some financial value, he is a great player but also has financial value, people come out to watch him, and they could trade him to some team for future assets back. They lost all their picks, and if they could trade Westbrook, AD and Lebron to some team for just some assets, and expiring contracts. Then they could rebuild it like they did during last years of Kobe.

That D'lo, Randle, Lonzo, Ingram, Hart, Clarkson, Kuzma, Caruso type of players are now doing pretty well, if they were all back in Lakers today, they would be doing better than right now. I am not even kidding, those players in the same team today would be doing better than today's Lakers. Hence rebuilding could start as soon as this off season.
I doubt that. They are keeping Lebron for different reasons and it will stay that way before the last year of his career where he might end up in Cleveland just for a come back and a big hand of applause. What I think will happen is the same thing they did 2 years ago after the championship.
Go deep in releasing their players and put something new in their roster. They will keep some like Reaves and Monk. AD and Lebron will stay and they will be looking for younger guys now because the veteran move didn't work.
1231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its a big red flag on: March 01, 2022, 06:17:47 PM
It's an old tune and I think it doesn't really work right now.
Scammers have new type of invitations now like "we have the best project" then comparing it to one of the top of their industry. That way it won't be suspected as a scam attempt.
What I find amusing now is for a developer to say you will "enjoy" it rather than make money out of it. The problem with most of their work now is it gets boring at a certain amount of time just holding the coin and waiting for "big moment".
1232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A thing worst than "don't trade with your emotion" a trader should avoid on: March 01, 2022, 05:16:38 PM
but some are so bad that I get irritated when I see their YouTube video thumbnail.
Never thought of that. Thank you.
I find it hard to believe every Youtube videos that are made with technical analysis. For me, this are all their opinions in the market and not accurately what will happen. They give you the basics of trading, I think that is what we should embrace and not by following every decision they will make.
As you said, "clear decision" which means, it's on us individually at the end of the day.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 01, 2022, 02:00:16 PM

Awesome chemistry is now being noticed between James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers within just a couple of games playing together. They are feel pumped and seeing the whole performance of the Sixers in their last 2 games, it's like James Harden is on their usual game operation for a long.

Can't wait to see them facing the Brooklyn Nets on March 10. It will be at Wells Fargo Center, the home of the Sixers.

I want to see how Sixers fans will react with the return of Ben Simmons in the building.
Well, it will be a very interesting game! And I bet the fans might react with resentment to the return of Simmons lol

I've been analyzing, is it just me or does Harden seem to have more chemistry with a big player? Because I confess that during the Rockets he and CP3 couldn't form a great duo
No, what you feel is right. He is always in the spotlight whenever he is paired with a great center. It could be because of the different role. But when it comes to playing with another point guard he seems to be off.
There's a simple play for him and that is to attack the paint and decide if he will shoot or lob it up to the one rolling to the basket and he is good at it.
Fast decision making mid-air or even while being banged hard in the paint.
1234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: March 01, 2022, 10:05:51 AM
Right now the price is above that level and it seems we are going to close above it today, but things are simply too unpredictable at the moment, the number and the extent of the sanctions that we are seeing against the Russian government is increasing, and while this is the correct thing to do, at the same time this will have a negative effect over the world economy, and we could see another important decrease in the price during the next weeks.
Talk about unpredictability, it happened again. $43k. IMO, this is the time they are buying Bitcoin to keep as their stash rather than in gold or hard cash. This way they could bring it quietly without any questions and also for security. Just remembering the seed phrase is all that matters.
Could this be Ukranians buying it or are this Russians trying to keep their money stay in value while their economy is crumbling? That's all the reason I could see because the spike was too sudden.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 28, 2022, 06:34:22 PM
Looks like it's getting tougher for the Lakers and if they continue looking like this then I'd expect they may not get through the playoffs which is sad considering how others expect them the best team for 2021-22 season. There are adjustments for McCollum but I think he's in good shape at Pelicans this time seem to what is doing by Harden on the Sixers uniform.
It is getting tougher. With a lot of team added strength from the last trading market it will not be an easy ride for all their games. I watched them carefully last night and all I could see is lack of defensive plays.
Like what Richard Jefferson said, Frank Vogel is not a bad coach and he even earned a championship 2 years ago but this problem is down to the players if they can pull some efforts with every inch of a play.
The Lakers only have a month left to secure their spot in the playoffs, but I think their road is already expected especially now that AD have been injured again and they said it will take 4-6 weeks for him to get back on the court. Also, WB is having his worst year but they still have a chance and will likely join the play-in tournament but I doubt that they can survive that.
There's always a chance but they must secure that place first before anything else. What if they drop to 11th rank, that's the end of everything. Their next three games will be Mavs, Clippers and then GSW. It may sink them down in the rankings.
1236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's meta here and there on: February 28, 2022, 06:05:16 PM
Creation is easy and you don't even need a PhD for it. That's why. It will all be up to us. These scammers won't even get a cent if all investors will do their homework to research about what project they will be supporting or investing with.
Check the team. If possible, talk to them face to face either with Skype or whatever communication that will assure the reality of them and not just fake profiles. Then deepen the research about how far it can get because most of the projects now are getting shorter even if their roadmaps are not yet fulfilled.

Hello !

I am DrBeer. I am a citizen of Ukraine. Ukraine, subjected to fascist aggression by Russia. There is a full-fledged war going on here, with death, destruction, grief, tragedies of people, families, entire cities! I see everything not from TV, I see it personally now - I now serve in the Territorial Defense.
To be honest, I did not expect such a wide, international support for Ukraine! This is the total support of all countries, all peoples - I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, for everything - from words of support to financial assistance! For all the decisions that you make to help Ukraine, sometimes even to your own detriment. Thanks a lot !

We protect our homeland from world evil. We will win - victory will be ours!
The slogan of a free, independent Ukraine is "Slava Ukraine !"

Hello there DrBeer. I hope you are doing fine. Sorry, I don't know the right words to tell someone when their country is at war. I will donate as much as I can and I wish it will go to good use. Please do be careful out there and may this war end quick and come to a conclusion that a gentlemen discussion will be better than using guns and missiles.
Stay strong.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 28, 2022, 09:36:31 AM
That's some nasty amount of turnovers made by the Lakers. 23 in total. 7 of them came from Russ and he was not having a great night.
But I praise the Pelicans coaching staff for blending McCollum with Ingram and it works. They got stronger with their newly made roster, Ingram is full of confidence because of that change and I think McCollum feels at home too. It's a win for both of them while they are climbing the ladder back to enter the play in. 2 win streak for them and 2 losses for the Lakers.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 27, 2022, 06:44:15 PM
Got some good news about that, Kevin Durant is likely to play again as early as 1st week of the March and the Nets will be much more stronger again as their injured superstar will come back again to dominate the court. Durant almost missed 20 games after he suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee.
LINK: Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant is expected to return to the floor next week, Nets coach Steve Nash said on Saturday
This is great news indeed. Their in a bad spot now at number 8 and if they will have Durant back, a possibility of a win streak could happen that might save them the trouble of having to play in the play-in tournament. Instead, they could use that time to rest or be in chemistry with Ben Simmons.
And for Ben Simmons, he is expected to make his debut soon wearing a Nets uniform in a match against the Sixers but it looks like he won't make it as he's now injured before his expected debut. Any thoughts about this? It looks like he's avoiding his scheduled debut date Grin
LINK: Ben Simmons on a reconditioning process
If he is avoiding it then I think he is being selfish. He should look at how the team will reach the playoffs and not about his drama with his former team.
I hope there is another reason why. Reconditioning might be the best one.
1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your experiences with energy efficient cryptocurrencies? on: February 27, 2022, 06:32:08 PM
Then there's Ethereum for you which is starting their way to POS.
Advantages. Just like you said. Energy. If you are the type of persons that is concerned about energy saving then you can always choose different type of consensus mechanism.
Disadvantages. Staking is kind of a long term investment if you ask me and it mostly relies to the amount of coins that you have to see the difference of what you will make. But, you will have peace of mind knowing you didn't support a high energy cost project.
