1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tap (XTP) is up 300% After Bittrex Listing on: January 02, 2020, 08:47:20 PM
initial pump do not guarantee success, remember Quarkchain, it did 23X the day it was listed and the price has dipped seriously now. Good if you get in early into the project and make decent profit, but initial success do not equate to long term success
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: January 02, 2020, 08:37:14 PM
Bitcoin can reach $100,000, if indeed it prove to be a hedge in the coming financial crisis, but the question his we have not seen BTC performance in a bear economy. Another thing to consider is the effect of regulation on Bitcoin, we have seen how Bitcoin performs in the wild, now so many products around it, we would like to see how it is going to perform
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why You would invest in this coin? UVU. on: January 01, 2020, 08:53:29 PM
No, I won't, just looking at the details of the tokens, there seems to be a lot wrong with the project.

1. Low/No trading volume, just 1.45BTC trading volume in the last 24 hours,

2. There is a huge gap between total coin  and current circulatiing coin. so the 90% of the coins can be dump and exit scam on people.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins. on: January 01, 2020, 08:49:29 PM
I doubt the ALtcoin market can move in isolation of Bitcoin. The way things are now the whole space is waiting for the Bitcoin halving and from a source I was told that some of these developers have started dumping their tokens for Bitcoin, they want to take full opportunity of the coming halving, when BTC pump, Altcoins would then follow
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: January 01, 2020, 08:46:50 PM
When Bitcoin touches $100k then I think the Bitcoin dominace would be around 90% or more. That means most of these ICOs has failed to deliver any product and the ecosystem has moved to the Bitcoin chain. Another thing is that we will have many Bitcoin millionaire because 10BTC means you are sitting on $1 million
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about HEX? on: December 30, 2019, 07:15:58 PM
The way things are now it seems the project died on arrival, Roger Ver tried to make it more legit but I feel his influential power in the space is dwindling, I think people would have tried to gamble more with it, if it is in a bull market but most people have learnt their lessons investing in shit/scam coin when you wake up one day and discovered their is exist scam and you turned bag holders
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank coins vs crypto space coins on: December 30, 2019, 07:11:23 PM
I am not surprise by the interest and the level of development of Stable coins by Central Banks, when you heard what Largade said about stable coins recently I believe they see it as a big threat to their system and power. We need to wait any see how the development of their own coin is going to be, but I have a feeling this could be the end of some failed national currencies because barrier to access most of their strong currencies would have been removed
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut crypto loss at no cost on: December 30, 2019, 07:07:42 PM
If you lost a lot in crypto trading or missed big waves, stock some coins for free. That will make you feel much better.

Here is such a coin, of good potential.

-- STHCOIN --
* More secure than Bitcoin
* Coin transfer is instant (++)
* Ultra-low transaction fee
* CPU-mined only

Coins can be obtained via frequent lottery as well as various ways of contribution. For example, refer your friends. While helping STHCOIN to grow, you earn 50 coins for each successful referral.

Check it out at https://www.soothing.center

++: To a certain type of addresses

Really! Roll Eyes, more secure than Bitcoin, this most be the joke of the year, you can do better when promoting your project than try to bring down BTC, I have never heard about your project and I feel most people here also, so you have to do a better job than this to make the project successful. I  will need to read more about the project just to know if it is just another shitcoin in making
1229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: December 29, 2019, 09:42:25 PM
No matter how much ETH costs, it will always be considered a very promising crypto coin for the next couple of years, the most important thing is to invest in ETH and sell it on time.

Promising project true but when is it going to stop being a promising and start delivering on its world computer promising.

People are not talking about flipping again because there if fear the price could continue to crash, the ICO burst and IEO has spoiled the game for Ethereum, let's wait for how the POS transition would work out
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin bubble by 2023; capitalization up to 150 times, a research suggests on: December 29, 2019, 09:27:27 PM
I don't think anyone doubt there would be another Altcoin bubble, the question has been when it would take place. The current market is providing background for the next bull run, most of these Altcoins won't make it to the next bull run and they will die and pay way for the next crazy bubble market. Just don't miss out
1231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Indicator.vip - Smart Binance Indicators on: December 29, 2019, 09:20:16 PM
The issue I have with most of these indicator is that they do lack behind the market and so most of them you just buy into a pump and they end up dumping on you. I have learnt my lessons with all these indicators and prefer to do the normal technical analysis than to use an indicator that ill rob me of my fund
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TAP (XTP) Will be Listed on Bittrex on: December 29, 2019, 09:13:20 PM
This is like the 10th project offering the same generic thing.  " one-stop services"  i wonder if this one will be the one to end up on top?
Interesting that Trex is listing them, tho thats definitely not a grantee of legitimacy, they have been listing some "interesting" stuff lately lol
They are always so vague about what these tokens do, but from my understanding of this Medium article, why do i need a service to take my API keys (and potentially rob me), if i can just do it myself?  most exchanges will support mobile browsing by now... and woot, ANOTHER buncha randos that want my ID : /

This is the same issue I have with most of these new projects now, nothing to differentiate them from the old projects, if Ethereum people can think and come up with Smart contract and project coming up now are just a copy cat of Ethereum there is a big issue, another thing is the quality of the people behind this project, you even doubt they know what they are even talking about.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is libra coin going to dominate the Bitcoin market? on: December 28, 2019, 09:32:38 PM
No, it won't Libra is a threat to stable coins projects not Bitcoin, the role Bitcoin is playing is censorship resistance, if anything happens, Libra team could hold on to your coin but not with Bitcoin because there is no gatekeeper to prevent the transaction. I for one believe Libra would be approved and it is going to be  a plus to Bitcoin, because more people would learn and know about BTC
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum co-founder Secretly Sold $11M Worth of ETH on Christmas Day! Got Outed! on: December 28, 2019, 09:29:12 PM
I can see alot of people saying no big deal about it, but the issue is that if the team is selling out their tokens, why do you expect the investors and community to hold to a project. $11 million for a game project, that is very good. I just hope the game project work or it is just an excuse so that people won't question the motive
1235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 understanding on: December 28, 2019, 09:23:42 PM
Here’s my question I am somewhat new to this.  When Ethereum 2.0 Comes out will it be the same coin
As Ethereum now just upgraded?
Or is this a separate new coin?

For now, I don't think ETHEREUM FOUNDATION know how Ethereum 2.0 is going to look like, Ethereum for now look like a try and error for me, no clear path just throwing around cliche. If ETHEREUM fail to deliver in 2020, then this could be the begining of the END for the project

1237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 10, 2019, 06:23:28 PM
I have seen many reviews about the current new altcoins. Most of them are marked as worse coins with cheap prices, while the rest coins are indicated as scams or shit-coins. I rarely saw people stated that new altcoins are worth for investment or trading nowadays. However, new altcoins are always born from ICO, STO or IEO every month.

So, my questions are
1. Why there are still investors in the new altcoins project? For what they invest if they know new altcoins are only about risks and losses?
2. Who are those developers that always create new altcoins projects? Don't they know that most new projects just ended with failure?

*Warning: Sorry if these questions are ever made by someone!! I never copied or got an idea from others. This is my own opinion.

1. Why there are still investors in the new Altcoins project? For what they invest if they know new altcoins are only about risks and losses?

The reasons are simple, no risk, no reward. When Roger Ver invested in BTC in early days of BTC some people will think he is throwing money away but see what reward he earned after this. Some project will fail but that shouldn't prevent one from investing in potential project that would likely succeed like NEO, Ethereum, Stratis etc.

2. Who are those developers that always create new Altcoins projects? Don't they know that most new projects just ended with failure?

It is just like telling scientist they should stop researching because most of their experiment i going to end up failure. Man is going to keep searching for answers both known and unknown. When do we go to Moon and now man is looking to colonize mars.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference? on: December 10, 2019, 06:16:01 PM
I think what Cryptocurrencies bring with it is transparencies unlike the digital cash. When a Government decide to print money out of thin air, then you will see it on the chain, it is just like someone trying to mine more BTC after the 21 million is now in circulation. Government don't want to lose control so they are not going to go the route of Cryptocurrencies
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deutsche Bank said Crypto will Replace Fiat Currencies by 2030! Really Possible? on: December 10, 2019, 06:12:11 PM
One ting I know is that Fiat currencies are under threat and central banks know this. A lot happens between 2010 and now, so this coming decades is going to disrupt some Government positions. Another thing we need to understand is that millennial are getting into position of power and will help in shaping the coming future generation
1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: As Per Crypto Expert Will Litecoin Coin Price Reach $1,500 by 2019 on: December 10, 2019, 06:03:55 PM
I am still surprise people are still listening to people like this and price projection like this, haven't people learnt anything from 2018. When you hear people project prices on what are they basing their price projection on. I don't think I have used Litecoin for anything this year as compared to BTC, so what would drive the price up
