1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So low market cap is better for investment? on: September 29, 2017, 10:14:42 PM
This:

Looks legit.

Summary of digital currencies.

I will use this image eventually, somewhere, it's perfect
That image is not 100% correct, where are the early investors of a coin that earn huge profits as well, those that got bitcoin basically for free and that had the wisdom to keep holding are millionaires right now, and that is without being traders or promoters of the coin at all.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2017, 10:10:57 PM
I think the biggest problem its not the bitcoin code, the biggest problem in this moment its the difficult to buy bitcoin from a safe exchange, the technical knowledge needed to set up a wallet, and the difficult to use a digital currency in the physical world.
Yes of course decentralized bitcoin is the biggest disadvantage .Apart from it many people still do not believe in bitcoin, because it is a virtual currency, I mean a crypto digital currency and has no physical structure. So peoplecannot see the volume of bitcoin.

That’s why people do not believe in bitcoin. The other disadvantage is that bitcoin is in today’s era is just an imaginary coin.
It is weird but I find this a lot, some people think that bitcoin is like the currencies that you get in those RPG games and treat it as if it is not real when in fact most of the transactions around the world are digital like, bank transfers, paypal, paying bills from your phone, credit card purchases and others.
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: September 29, 2017, 10:08:27 PM
What do you guys think? Is it too late to buy NEO? sitting at $15.
Right now NEO is trading close to 18 dollars, the price has slowly crashed for some time, so to me this is a very good entry point, you will probably need to hold for a long time before a new all time high is reached but when it is reached you are going to make a significant amount of money, if you have the money to invest this seems like a winner.
I hope NEO can dump more in next time, current price still high with a token call is Ethereum of China Cheesy. If NEO can dump to $10, I think that is good time to shopping a little.
I do not have NEO so I do not have a problem if it crash to that price, but I’m going to keep my eyes open and see if it gets lower if it does then it is going to become really difficult to resist the temptation to invest some money on it taking into account that I genuinely believe that the coin will eventually recover.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: September 27, 2017, 08:51:15 PM
seems like a lot of people are believing in it!

Nowadays, it's not very easy to trust people and so as the products that made by them. It's a matter of time that BTC really crossed the limit and become the first crypto currency that is acceptable and trusted by people. The future of alt coins are the same with BTC with different strategies, framework and marketing.
The future of BTC and altcoins are not the same, each altcoin will have to create their own fate, bitcoin is the coin with the brightest future but that does not mean that other altcoins are not going to become incredibly valuable in the future, coins like Shift, Monero and Waves seem like good bets for those that want to invest in them.
1225  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 27, 2017, 08:44:40 PM
Considering the different investment instruments in the market, the average yields they have been offering and the level of risk with which they are handled, I have no doubt that bitcoin is one of the best investments in present days. It is true that its high volatility can still generate a lot of uncertainty in potential investors, but all the historical graphs of bitcoin have amply demonstrated that in the long run it has always recovered from the strongest falls, and it is also important to take into account the great potential that the crypto market offers.

So I do believe that bitcoin is a good option to invest our money, as long as we are cautious and we do not decide to put all the eggs in one basket.
Correct some people lose their time looking at the extreme movement in the price, and do not take the time to look at the chart showing the whole historic prices of bitcoin when you see that you cannot help but marvel at how cheap bitcoin was and how expensive is and when I see that I have no doubt that bitcoin is going to become even more valuable in the future.
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AUTHORSHIP IS A FRAUD? (COMPLAINTS) on: September 26, 2017, 07:04:04 PM
I got my tokens of the bounty and of my Investment, but they said the minimal  trading price will bei 0.15ct.
Now after release the price is under 1ct. Pure Scam
You should never rely completely on the information on the website of icos, it is very obvious they are going to try to present the best case scenario as the most likely outcome when in fact most of the time that is simply not the case, and it seems that this is what happened with this project, so next time try to get your information from other sources as well.
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: September 26, 2017, 06:58:13 PM
500 usd is only 0.12 btc. It is low amount of money for crypto world.
If i had only 500 usd to invest i would make a risky all in choosing a project that is not known by many people but with a good team. And at the same time i would focus on airdrops and bounty programs to gain some profits for my future investments.
If that is what he has then he will have to make it work, probably the best strategy is to invest in a solid ico, if he does that and the coin skyrockets then in a few years that 0.12BTC could be something close to 12BTC if the coin goes 100x in value and he holds the entire time, which is not a bad profit if you ask me.
1228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: September 25, 2017, 11:04:11 PM
or may be buy low sell high ?

Lot of noobs traders , don't control their emotions and make worst mistakes : buy at high price and sell at lowest

how to control this ? = put orders (buy/sell) and close the platform
There are several ways to stop this, stop being a trader and become an investor, invest for the long term instead for a few hours and days and you will not panic anymore every time there is a change in the price, another thing is to learn to trader properly many people trade based on hunches and that is a sure way to lose a lot of money.
1229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small investors now is your time! on: September 25, 2017, 11:01:01 PM
i have my bitcoin already. the thing to do as i have read here is to "buy the dips" as in buy when the price goes lower because it will be going up too

Nice, good to know that you had followed the instruction and tips from the people here that you should buy at dip. Don't buy when the price is at peak, it must be sell when it is at peak. May I know on how much you did bought your coins out there? Is it $3,000? And if you'll keep on doing this strategy, for the next years to come you'll be rich enough out of your investment in bitcoin. Keep on doing it, good job!
buying at the peak price is an improper action. but it never hurts because we will not know what will happen next. maybe the price of bitcoin can increase 100% or even more. although expensive we will still benefit. this is a difference of perception where we dare to take risks, honestly I will take that risk because all I know is bitcoin price keeps increasing price every year. I am patient enough to wait in a long time.
If you are going to hold for the long term then it does not matter when you buy in two years bitcoin is going to be a lot more valuable than the current prices but the issue is that if you are patient you are going to be able to get a much better price and see profits earlier than if you bought at the peak of a bubble.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: September 25, 2017, 10:57:10 PM
I don't visit regularly; I have visited a land based casino twice in Goa. It was one of the top Casino of Goa and my overall experience was good. I did enjoyed my time there but I did not won anything and I loose all of my tokens within a hour, it was a fun.

People stil go to land based casinos in the age when everything is online. Its won't give you the same satisfsction of being physically there when betting, aside from seeing who you're playing with instead of just seeing avatars.
Seeing who you are really playing can be a big advantage in a game like poker where everything they do can give you a greater insight in the way they are playing or what they may have in their hand, and that is something impossible to do when you are playing in an online casino.
1231  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: September 24, 2017, 10:43:07 PM
Should I stop buying BTC for above market value or should I start paying the listed price? I support Bitcoin and still pay 5k a BTC does anyone see bitcoin going back up?
We are probably not going to see that piece for some time, right now bitcoin is very close to 3700 to me that seems like a good point of entry for anyone that does not have bitcoin, however you need to understand that no one is going to sell you bitcoin for the listed price, every single person is going to charge a percentage over the current price, if you do not like that then yo will need to find the way to earn bitcoin directly.
1232  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: September 24, 2017, 10:38:50 PM
I think some lending sites are good for us to make an alternative bitcoin investment, for example is btcjam, or poloniex, we can get profit up to 8% per month and this is a good offer than we let bitcoin in the wallet.
I have not hear good things about btcjam and I do not even know if the site is still working, however poloniex lending can be a good way to make money but like always supply and demand play a role there, if there is not a lot of movement on bitcoin then the requests for trades are very low and you will get almost nothing for your efforts but when the market is hot you can get a lot of money in a month by just lending your bitcoin.
1233  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: September 23, 2017, 05:00:31 AM
Cryptocurrencies does provides a lot opportunities to multiply our fiat investment, sure regular currencies are required to the daily needs, but crypto does provide the best opportunities for anybody whiling to take the risk. I dont know any fiat investment wich allow me to double my fiat into 1 year or even 2-3 years, crypto is full of those opportunities daily.
This is the main difference with fiat, fiat can only make you lose money in the long term, if you hold fiat you are losing money every single second that you hold it, but if you hold bitcoin or alts you have the chance of earning money by just holding it and the longer you hold the bigger the chances of making profits and the bigger the profits as well.

Holding crypto coins will give profit whenever the price rises but how the fiats value will be reduced if you hold it for long term. There are many corrupted politicians holding fiats as a hard cash still they have fiats with the same value only not reduced.
I prefer BTC, ETH and Monero now since these have good potential to invest in trading and mining.
The purchasing power of fiat is reduced every second because governments keep printing it, just think about it, all the things that you could buy with a dollar a century ago, think of the things that you could buy with a dollar a decade ago, even if you still have the same dollar now it buys less, if I remember correctly the dollar has lost 95% of its purchasing power in the last century, but if you held gold you will still have a similar purchasing power and if you held bitcoin for the last 9 years your purchasing power would have gone through the roof.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves NG in Oktober - 100 transactions per second on: September 23, 2017, 04:52:51 AM
100 for a second or minute? I just see someone said that a minute and not a second. That was even the same with the Iota if confirm the transaction goes in 100 tx for a second. if ethereum planned to be million tx just in a minute and which is better?  Cool
If it is per minute then it is not really better than bitcoin since most of the time bitcoin can average 1.5 transactions per second which is about 90 transactions per minute, however if it is per second then it will be faster than bitcoin however once bitcoin implements the lightning network then bitcoin could process millions of transactions per second and it is going to become as fast as any other payment system.
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2017, 05:19:02 AM
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink
I think the disadvantages of bitcoin is that, it is not yet legal to some countries and by that, it also reduces the users that are supposed to be using bitcoins instead of the other cryptocoins. And maybe when the bitcoin will reach the certain number of countries that it are legal of course, its value will also increase. And also, we are now in the 21st century and yet bitcoin is still not approved as a payment in the local areas or stores.
I think you touch a fair point, some people will like to have some bitcoin but since in most countries bitcoin is still in a gray area then many prefer to avoid it, especially when we take into account the information spread by the media stating that bitcoin is used by criminals, but once that change those people will adopt bitcoin now that they have a legal certainty that bitcoin is legal.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: September 22, 2017, 04:53:36 AM

I choose bitcoin,
I think gold is a woman's jewelry: P and good for women investing for gold.
but I prefer bitcoin in any way.

You can keep the gold in the safe. Will always be in the price. How confident are you in bitcoin?
If you are not so sure with bitcoin then you can always invest and be ready to exit the market, besides gold has been a great store of value but that is going to change when humans develop technology to explore other worlds then gold is going to be a lot more common and it is going to lose its value.
Gold value is rather static one. It increases at a turtle pace and we are living in a fast world where we want our work completion in minutes not days like transactions. Gold can't be transacted to any part of the world within minutes but bitcoins can hence increasing the speed of business. Bitcoin value gain is also superfast. Definitely it is the best saving also.
Do not get me wrong, I love bitcoin but gold is the best store of value of the two, bitcoin is the best investment, but if you are perfectly comfortable with the amount of money that you have then getting gold can be the best choice, but investing in bitcoin is the best way to generate more money in the long term.
1237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: September 22, 2017, 04:50:23 AM

Right now NEO is trading close to 18 dollars, the price has slowly crashed for some time, so to me this is a very good entry point, you will probably need to hold for a long time before a new all time high is reached but when it is reached you are going to make a significant amount of money, if you have the money to invest this seems like a winner.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So low market cap is better for investment? on: September 22, 2017, 04:46:37 AM
No, not really!

low market cap also shows that particular altcoin has nothing to offer and nobody cares about it. in other words there is no demand hence low price and as a result low market cap.

the picture you posted is also 100% irrelevant.
It depends on what people mean by low market cap, does someone means sub 1 million coins? Or sub 10 million coins? Because the coins that have a market cap between 10 million and 1 million are the perfect coins if you are thinking of making a lot of money by holding, they can grow up a lot and give you great earnings and yet they have raised enough money to try to make their project a reality.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: September 22, 2017, 04:35:26 AM

Haha) if ltc will be 15usd soon, means for all the crypto market hard times have come. and then bitcoin will cost less than $ 1000
No, litecoin is a good coin, but it is not a point of reference as bitcoin is, I do not think the price can tank that badly but if it did I do not think that is going to crash the whole market or that bitcoin needs to reach that low of a price either, however if that happened I will buy a bunch of LTC without even thinking about it and hold for a long time.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 21, 2017, 10:43:44 PM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.
Well I guess investing bitcoins is good but do not put all your money there because we do not know then what might happen to your wallet I mean if you can forget your wallet or the password, just save what is enough for you to loss or just save your earnings in bitcoins if possible.
That is a prudent strategy but one that not many people are going to follow, people want to earn money with bitcoin and they are seeing the huge profits that are possible with it, a person with a lot of money could follow the strategy that you outline, but someone looking to maximize his earnings is going to invest everything in bitcoin and altcoins hoping for the best.
