12201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Missing From Bitcoin In Order For It To Be More Adoptable For The Masses on: March 21, 2016, 05:23:28 PM
Everything which is new to most people should be introduced properly otherwise they won't accept it. When the potato was introduced to Europe in the early 17th century, it was damned as an evil food. Long time passed until it was fully accepted. We need more positive articles, TV shows and documentaries explaining to people how good Bitcoin is.
12202  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea fires ballistic missile into sea on: March 21, 2016, 04:34:04 PM
Their fear from potential US intervention is not exaggerated, we can see many proofs in the rest of the World.

It is survival of the fittest. Why the Americans haven't invaded North Korea yet, unlike Libya and Iraq? The answer is that they are well aware of the North Korean military power. Americans are very good in bullying weak nations such as Cuba and Syria. But they will shit in their pants if they are asked to attack stronger nations such as the DPRK, Iran, China, and Russia.

I think US is not invading DPRK because more than 95% of DPRK's population are brainwashed to such an extent that they would rather die than allow to America to deal with their great leader. Nobody wants to kill milllions of people. America invades countries where at least around 50% of the population are waiting for them to do so.
12203  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: March 21, 2016, 09:35:31 AM
Yes it will be in the future. But it will take a long time and that is bad. Because more people must know about Bitcoin and that is the only option.
I hope that more people will use it later and that it will be more acceptable, that is also important.

Maybe it will take long time like you said but maybe  it won't. Who knows? Nowdays things are progressing in the rate never seen before. I predict that in 5 years there will be almost no one on this planet who never heard about Bitcoin.
12204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 21, 2016, 09:18:16 AM
If you are an addict or afraid to become an addict. Find yourself a nice hobby that will attract your attention from gambling in my opinion.
It's good you want to quit gambling so focus your time on something positive I think.

New hobbies would really work if that hobby are the hobbies that you do before you get addicted to gambling...Working in real life would be an easier answer to quit addiction...But if you don't care about your future, never mind,  my suggestion won't work I guess..

in case of gamblers who don't care about their own selves, direct their care toward people around them, their families and friends, may help. there are things much more important than themselves like that.

If someone wants really to quit gambling thinking about family and friends might help, I agree. He/she should try to spend the same money they spend on gambling say in a week on those who are close to them. Hope they'll find it more interesting and entertaining.
12205  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: March 21, 2016, 09:12:26 AM
Yes I do still believe in Bitcoin. Although the price now is not as high as I thought it would be, yes I believe it will rise to $500 by Summer. I think now those who want to buy a lot intentionally manipulate the price lowering it. They want to buy at lowerest price possible and actually they know too that it will be $500 by Summer.
12206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: March 20, 2016, 05:54:57 PM
For me yes, bitcoin is the future of online gambling. Because bitcoin is easy to use, easy to buy, easy to sell and bitcoin make us stay anonymous. And some casino no need hard verification, only need deposit and you can bet.

I agree. A friend of mine was playing poker online and 6 months ago he wouldn't use Bitcoin but now I met him several days ago and he said he started using Bitcoin because of its convenience and because almost all other players are using it.
12207  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 20, 2016, 05:50:50 PM
For me not possible at a moment with current price, if the price is affordable in future then I can think of getting into bitcoin as a full timer but not before that.

what does the bitcoin price have to do with anything?
you work and get paid (for example) $10 = and if the price goes up you will get $10 but this time less bitcoin (like 0.02 BTC) and in both cases you can afford the same goods with $10 worth of bitcoin.

I think he is trying to say when bitcoin is worth more, doing bitcoin based jobs will earn more

But in reality when Bitcoin is worth more the company you are working for usually lowers the pay in Bitcoin. This happened to me when Bitcoin went from $280 to $440 suddenly and I fully understand the company, they couldn't afford to pay more in USD for the same job.
12208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: March 20, 2016, 03:37:53 PM
I understand that Bitcoins obviously can't be traded without the internet, but, is this true only as long as the internet stays down? If the central internet technology went down for an hour, for example, would our bitcoins still be in the blockchain when the internet was back up, or would they be lost forever?

Nothing will be happen to your bitcoins they will not be lost. I guess the difficulty of mining will be dcreased because all of the miners will be down . So it is positive for miners and maybe the price of bitcoins will decrease very badly although this is not going to happen. So be happy.

Just imagine if only a few miners left how easy for them would be to mine coins.  Smiley But then again the price could decrease so the coins might become almost worthless. ... Well I agree this is not going to happen, ever, period. )
12209  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: March 20, 2016, 03:31:25 PM
China has many resources and even they can manipulate other countries economy, however China's army / forces is very strong and we can't deny it.

The Chinese armed forces are not that strong. They have a large pool of manpower, but that advantage is gradually waning as a result of the low birth rates. The Chinese fertility rate (1.66 children / woman) is lower than that of Russia (1.81 children per woman) and the US (1.88 children per woman). Also, their weapons and equipment are of low quality, unlike those in the possession of Russia and the US.

Although I think that weapons and equipment in the US are 10 times better than those which are in China we shouldn't underestimate their army which has over 2,000,000 active personnel compared to 475,000 of that in the USA. And also it should be taken into account that many if not most of the Chineese soldiers are devoted warriors who are willing to fight not for the money.

But I think China will never be at war with the USA because both countries understand how stupid it would be.
12210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cheap electricity for mining Bitcoin on: March 20, 2016, 03:15:44 PM
So your KW/H is 0.20 us cents?
Mine is about 0.059 domestic electricity :/..
And if over 7KW is used than i have ti use industrial power and its priced at 0.15 cents per KW.. However it can take months heck even years in my country until they figure out you are using more than 7Kw..  Grin

How's that possible? Don't you have a charge register or a counter (idk how it's called in your country)? Where I live all houses and flats have a charge register which is sealed by the company providing you with electricity to make it impossible to change the counter reading.
12211  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: March 20, 2016, 10:40:24 AM
I trade and buy some altcoin then sell. I get a sizable advantage. I allocate 0.5 Bitcoin to buy altcoin each week. profits of about 50%. I suggest you play the trading if you want to get rich. This is very easy, you just have to look at the statistics properly and carefully.

But for that you should be a real specialist in what you are doiong. For example I have no idea which altcoins will rise in the future and which will drop to zero. It's easy to lose everything you have when trading without proper knowledge.

That's good you have the knowledge. Keep profiting and good luck!
12212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: March 20, 2016, 10:35:31 AM
What if there is a PvP game you can play with 0% House Rake.
Even better, the game is 50/50 Luck/Skills.

A skilled player would always come on top I the long run.
We see it happen.

Yes it happen sometimes but you know for every "skilled player" there is at least one player who is skilled just a little bit more. So you are in profit only until the day you meet that player.
12213  Economy / Economics / Re: 1 important Advantage of BTC over other assets and cash. on: March 20, 2016, 10:12:17 AM
One thing about BTC say your country has a natural disaster, invasion, pandemic, bad political situation eg Zimbabwe, your assets are often worthless and hard to get out in any event. Eg good luck selling your property. Cash limits will be slapped on and your currency is likely to be devalued.

Now you could keep say some cash amounts in overseas bank accounts but the hassle, and overheads and it really requires a quite a bit of cash...and then you may not be sure of which country you can get to....

BTC however keeping just a bit that you basically realise anywhere to keep you in food and shelter to weather the worst of it or start agian......its quite a good proposition.

Thats' right. Absolutely. Maybe it's not so easy to exchange BTC on a local currency in small towns and villages, but I think every big town has someone who will want your BTC. So basically if you have Bitcoin you are covered almost anywhere in the world.
12214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you have the courage to do this? on: March 18, 2016, 02:10:01 PM
you have to be so stupid to do this.
i don't care what the outcome of his bet was, it is not wise to do such a thing. the risk is too high and in case of losing you will lose everything, become homeless.

my legs are trembling just thinking about doing this.

from the article:

"All the interviews and documentaries that surrounded his bet guaranteed he earned good money – he would have won big even if he lost!  A smart publicity stunt?  Or a crazy and irresponsible Roulette story?"  Grin

If the guy made money from publicity that's another thing than just gambling. That's why I wouldn't recommend anybody to follow his steps. He most likely was in win/win situation but if you do it yourself you won't be.
12215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 02:04:48 PM
I'm sort of new to bitcoin, I've made a couple bucks already from visiting ad sites, doing faucets, etc, but is there any other way to earn easy cash? Anyone got any suggestions?
As far as I know, there is no such thing as easy cash. If so, everyone could be a millionaire/billionaire/etc. by now, and the term " millionaire/billionaire/etc." will no longer exist. The fastest way to earn Bitcoin is to offer services to people and accept Bitcoin as a payment method.

That's the right words IMO. Do not fall for any "easy money" because you will be left with nothing. To make money is not easy today and never was before. "Easy cash" is a bait to fool those who is unexperienced enough to fall for it.
12216  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 18, 2016, 09:10:07 AM
I doubt we will ever see bitcoin below 100$ so I will have to buy when it reaches it's lowest now Grin
I also doubt it. bitcoin prices are rising trend for this year. but you know. all can happen in bitcoin. so its possible to go back to the price it stays there. keep watching mate

Even if the price falls it won't be that low as it seems to be impossible, I don't think it can go below $300 in future, so just relax and enjoy the fun ride.

I think we will never see below $350 or even below $400. The Summer is coming when according to many predictions (and mine too) Bitcoin will be over $500. Idk why it is going from $430 to $415 again and again but hopefully we'll see a change in this long-time trend soon.
12217  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: March 18, 2016, 09:02:26 AM
any problem with primedice?
I can't open this site, what happened?
I got a message

Error 522
Connection timed out

Yep, same here. I got message: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

But I think that PD staff will fix the problem soon as they always do. This site has proved many times that any problem there appears to be just temporary.
12218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: March 18, 2016, 08:52:57 AM
I think if Bitcoin goes mainstrem (and it is going already btw) the fiat will stay anyway. There always will be situations when it is more convenient to use fiat and I think there is nothing wrong with that.
12219  Other / Meta / Re: Posts: "leet"? What??? on: March 17, 2016, 07:37:58 PM
OMG! Thanks for explaining guys! I was freaked out a bit I must say. I thought my account was hacked or something. I was keeping reloading and reloading page and there was leet again and again. Then I decided to Google it and that's how I found this topic. )
12220  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 17, 2016, 07:26:52 PM
Yes i think the price of bitcoin is really matter. If the price of bitcoin is so cheap many people will not use bitcoin and if the price of bitcoin so expensive, many people will use it.
Especially in the case when people have a lot of bitcoins in their wallet and they lose them because of price decrease they will definitely leave it and will never ever again adopt it. So, the price of bitcoin is more important in my view for making people loving it always.

Yes, the more the price rises the more people accepting Bitcoin that's true, but we all know that when the price rises too much then it is a bulb most likely and the bulb might burst. So in short I like when the price rises like it does now but I don't like big jumps.
