BitNet version 1126-6 released,
Fix import BitNet Cheque crash bug,
And will auto send Cheque's coins to your default ( the first ) wallet address.

I want to introduce some important information about Cheque:
1, Anyone can import the did not specify "Coin Address" Cheque, and who fast who get it.
2, Version 1126-6 will auto send Cheque's coin to your first wallet address, if not do that, you need do it by you self.

You import the Cheque does not mean that the Cheque's coins belongs to you, until you sent these coins to your own wallet address.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7Kd-l4hTU3GYjNORmNlcXJmalk/view?usp=sharing

How do I send them to my address? I have one loaded but see no way to activate it.

Are the black ones multi use and the red ones's one time only? Or is it first one gets it on all of them?
12223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 07, 2015, 10:48:28 PM
Yah know what, I'm just gonna announce when I buy. Because apparently thats when you should sell. Sombitch. Everytime. Everytime I buy it then tanks.

I posted that the same thing happens to me. but it got deleted for some reason?
12224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NODE Revolution: "Money is a means of payment, not speculation" (с) on: February 07, 2015, 09:35:18 PM
This is all nonsense. Nxt was open IPO that remained open for two months. Anyone could join.  In the end only, only 73 put money. That's not the fault of Nxt but back then IPO weren't common. Nxt was first. After the launch in Nov, Nxt was traded on BTT forum for two months (and prices were very low, 1 btc for million nxt). There was still plenty of time for people who missed the IPO to buy cheap, and some did.   Nxt went up after it was added to BTER in January 2014.
Actually it was more around a hundred (101?) who bought in, but only 73 claimed there share.
The price was low  for about two weeks, after started trading on dgex, the price went up nicely in a hurry, but the forum trading was quite active for months.
More than a few people were selling at a low price, but with nice profit. But still it can't compare to node, where hundreds tried to cash out in a hurry. Giving out stakes for free is good for distirbution but not for the short term price after launch.

I still hold my free share and have no intention of selling it. I wonder how many others there are?

And yes keeping this wallet open without reward really sux ass. I also cannot run it 24/7 so I get nothing from the reward system either. Smiley

Plenty of open groups have membership fees.

Exactly. That's what I was saying. You have to pay to join MEW to exclude votes from the enemies of XMR.

It doesn't matter what the reason might be. Such groups can and do reasonably charge membership dues, which are used to fund the operation and programs of the group. Anyone can join and the minimum membership level is quite accessible.

I'm not talking membership fee's. I thought each vote can be bought. Am I wrong? I thought I read that.

Are the NODEs we received at launch still the ones used?

Yes, why wouldn't they be?
12227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency - 0.8.8.6 on: February 05, 2015, 11:43:42 PM
What exactly is the relation between https://xmrmonero.com/ and https://forum.monero.cc/? Which one is worth joining?

xmrmonero.com is a MEW project and is not a core team project (that is not to say that we don't support it or contribute to it or whatever).

The only sanctioned, official forum is forum.monero.cc

To expand a bit about MEW for those who may be new, MEW = Monero Economy Workgroup, an open membership group that supports and promotes Monero adoption. Anyone can join. You can find out more on xmrmonero.com or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=776479.0

Not true, you have to pay to vote which precludes the term open.

lol Cheesy

btw, is http://monero.wikia.com/ the official monero wiki?

No, it's just something we use for aspects related to protocol and design development.

Can we setup wikimedia on monero.cc or xmrmonero.com (i see a wiki page there but it doesnt show me anything)  so we can start adding info? Then, when time comes, you guys can do whatever changes you want but some articles will be ready...

As a gentle reminder, I setup a wikimedia wiki at https://monerobase.com .  But, it appears that official team members are setting up their own wiki's and directing people there.

If that's what the community prefers, I'll shutter mine and maybe try something else.  I'd like to help the community, but there's no sense in maintaining something that is better served by MEW or the official site.

that looks fantastic!

i will try to recomend this coin in to new exchange
i'm still comunicate with them on fb

However, if it helps the growth rate of the coin. Over the course of the last week fell by almost half.

i think price down because the people who got free coin reward
and then sell it on the market
they dont care about the price

so sad  Sad

People are idiots and cannot see the future. when this coin gets adopted for it's intended use those that sold will be crying rivers. Smiley

Is there an english AWS setup tutorial?

12233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.8 Required Update on: February 04, 2015, 01:07:24 AM
Everyone knows that annual inflation in 5 billion was added to keep the miners and our network was strong, but it didn't work. The next step was the merger of mining Litecoin and that's great, now we are confident in the safety and strength of our network. I think that now would be reasonable to refuse a permanent inflation 5 billion coins or make it less, for example 1.2 billion(100 million per month). This measure will make our Dogecoin more attractive!

Agree. I would be in favour of reducing the final block reward by half by introducing another halving. It shouldn't do much damage to the hashing power and could have some positive effect on the price.

You could drop the block reward to 0 and let it spin on fees... Roll Eyes

Litecoin miners pay $0 per year more in electricity mining DOGE either way.  Any profit is better than no profit esp with LTC the price it is.

I've been saying this for a year now and I honestly think it would be best for DOGE in the short, medium and long term.

DOGE strength is in its users. The large mining pools should keep mining DOGE because the users will:

A:  Mine LTC.
B:  Tell their friends where to support DOGE.
C:  $0 a year anyways... Fucking mine that shit!

Anyone who is trying to talk DOGE into a block reward is either:

A:  A marketing person trying to run the show.
B:  A Litecoin person trying to take more than they are worth.
C:  Someone who is full of shit.

I really really hope DOGE drops it to 0.  I'd love to fire up the ole Doge wallet.

^ Bumping this thought.

Someone please!

Block reward 0! Stop letting the LTC dumpage rape you good hearted DOGE folks!

If you don't correct this ASAP it will be to late... it may already be, but damn it is worth a shot.

Let them spin the network via fees.

It already is, Sad

Thats why i got out. wish i could have held as its the best community but the devs suck my dick and must be getting paid.

Seems one of my IP blacklists got updated with the IRC IP.

Which version are you using?

Doesn't matter, It's the IP the irc server resolves to.
